Gayle Garner Roski: Journey to the Titanic Virtual Exhibition Opening

The exhibition "Gayle Garner Roski: Journey to the Titanic" is the first public display of 33 watercolor paintings created by Roski as she documented her voyage, during which she descended 12,500 feet below the surface of the North Atlantic Ocean in a MIR 1 submersible to visit the haunting remains of the RMS Titanic.
This virtual opening of the exhibition included remarks from art historian Jean Stern, a retelling of her extraordinary experience viewing and painting the Titanic from the ocean floor by her daughter Reon Roski, a tour of the exhibition itself with Director of Exhibitions Johnny Sampson all followed by a brief Q&A with Stern and the Roski family.
