Their neighbor to the south, the White Sox, also had a fairly long spring history in SoCal. They were in Pasadena at Brookside Park from 1933-1942, and 1946-1950. While the Cubs first arrived in LA in 1903 (holding spring at Chutes Park in downtown LA in 1903-1904, just south of the 10 freeway), the White Sox set up their spring training at the same field in 1908.
Marilyn Monroe ?
the silicon characters looks very real. I really want to work in that gallery, i`m a total expert in this film.
Finally, somebody giving insight into the jowls. Wish I was on catalina island to see these
That is not Bruce. Bruce was destroyed after filming. They thought the film would flop so they destroyed it. Had to make new ones for the sequel
You are correct. That is a replica of Bruce's head made by Greg Nicotero and his KNB EFX Group.
gorgeous
This is fantastic.
Yay, Catalina! I want to go there! The last time was in 1959 at 6 years old! Loved it!
You left out the guest of honor 😉 lol
The entertainment acts are so ironic. Love it. But Hopefully in the future $ won’t be a contributing factor for having the opportunity to contribute to Catalina preservation. Is there anyone that has decoded the casino buildings architecture and its murals. I’d love to talk to someone about what I’ve learned soon can share the information.
The shark doesn’t look like the one in the movie. The coloring and the jaws/teeth and gums don’t look right.
Jaws Master Piece !
Please, scrap SCI FY and use this style to make monsters instead
May you rest in peace, dear Mr. Davis. I always felt happy you choose my hometown for one year of your studies :)

Im so sad I was just there this past Saturday and I never found the museum. I thought the enterance it was in the front of the Casino and it looked like a ghost town in the casino there was no one working at the window . You guys should put a sign this way to the Catalina Museum this arrows =/ and have an employee sit at the window with information. Because I know I wasnt the only one !!! ugh
