- The plaintiff used to live with the defendant in college. Unfortunatley, the defendant never paid rent and stole from him, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant argues he got into a bad accident, and the plaintiff allowed him to live with him rent-free.

When I was in college, my dad paid my rent - I paid for everything else. My boyfriend from another city, showed up and, didn’t go home. After a few months, I asked him to contribute. He informed me my dad pd the rent so he shouldn’t have to…he paid for nothing. I got a job as a live-in nanny to get rid of him. He was/is still a LOSER. Good riddance!
She’s shown no bias as far as I’m concerned. She rails and disses slouches en Espanol or English when she needs to. The guy is a deadbeat and made no sense, as she rightfully pointed out.

The defendant is in the beginning of his career in life. You don’t want to start and continue this way.
In college you really have to make and have a lot of friends and acquaintances. You really get a good job by people you know; not by what you know .

I don’t think the defendant realizes if he sues anybody’s insurance for accident. It’s going to be the guy at fault that hit theplaintiff. And of course he should do that if he’s injured and he will get lost wages.
I'll never have another roommate because the three roommates I had in the past didn't pay their portion of the rent. I would get some money here and there but mostly got excuses as to why they didn't have the money.

I actually think the plaintiff's cute; a little clueless but cute. He'll learn. He's polite and a nice kid and conducting himself well. Life is a learning experience. He's more well-spoken than many adults decades older with a life full of experiences. In spite of his youth, I have every faith this kid is going to turn out a great member of society. His biggest short-coming at this point is his polite approach in facing this problem. He's just young, that's all. Just learning life isn't as perfect as when parents handle everything, but he's learning. This will be an excellent lesson.
Listen college is expensive i had two sons in at once my village helped me meaning both grandparents,Aunt, Uncle's ect.

Always get it in writing people. I have let friends stay for free (2 mths max), but free loading is just not cool. I feel there was a deal of some sort, but he should have covered his butt with something signed.

The defendant clearly displayed a very entitled and arrogant attitude. The plaintiff didn’t even have to make their case. He dug his own grave and it has absolutely nothing to do with race.
