Great comparison!
Listening to this video and a few others comparing these microphones, I have the impression that the Rode in general sounds better in monophonic instruments.
Akg, on the other hand, has a better clarity of individual notes being better for polyphonic instruments(Piano, Accordion, Guitar).
Both are great choices!

Nice! I do like the rode better. I have a 414 and like the 214 it’s a bit scooped in the mids where the rode is the opposite (like my vintage u87) more forward in the mids and low mids

I listened again. I do like the rode on tenor and actually the 214 on alto

Great video! I do prefer the C214's low end but both microphones sound great.

Great - I like it as well. After doing this comparison I sent the AKG back and bought the Rode. So far so good.

Brzmienie altu bardziej podoba mi się z AKG, z kolei brzmienie tenoru z Røde.

NT 2a has something nerving to it. For my Ear c214 sounds more musical

I like Rode NT2A myself but wouldn't say it's better than AKG. Just different flavour.

Hard to say - for me the AKG microphones are quite bright sounding so if that's what you're looking for it will be a great mic for sure.
