We have one of those rakes for the front of the tractor and there's a attach ment so u can put on the back aswell very handy machine
Are they bad at clogging up radiator when it's a dusty crop hay etc

Considered the front rake for the baler but ruled it out so far cause I can't see it working in narrow roads and tight gateways. Maybe some day.

we tried a kuhn merger like that here in norway with ryegrass (might be wrong name in english) and we found that it made lumps in the rows that made the jaguar struggled with and we didnt have a decent average speed,so the contractor didnt buy it,he bought a 2 rotor kuhn rake
Was the front rake delivered in that box when the sprayer and Tedder arrived???

the problem with high speed rakes, is, they beat the shit out of the hay and knock all the leaves off and leave a leafless stalk, probably work ok for plain old grass cuz no leaves to beat off the stalk, in a rainy country prob no choice but to ted it a few times, i ain't no pro but thats what i see.
Ah Phil time to give Irish manufacturers a look in many fine designs out there

I doubt that merger would work very well in irish conditions to be honest.

Some of the kit is great but a good bit of it is scrap and I have had a 1 rotor rower and a 6 rotor Tedder
The Tedders are junk total junk
Some of the European made machines just aren’t designed for Irish conditions which are so much tougher than in mainland Europe.
