Your last video inspired me to start waking up earlier. I’ve been wanting to be a morning person for years, but it’s so difficult when you have young kids who don’t sleep through the night. But now my littles are 3 and 1.5, and they are sleeping much better. Today I got up at 7:30 and did a very simple 15 minute stretch, drank a whole cup of hot coffee and watched this vlog! Eventually I’d like to be up even earlier but it’s baby steps for me. I have a lot of baby weight to lose and healthy habits to instill….. keep these videos coming, they’re very motivating 😄
What a lovely dress! You’re right, Walmart is upping their game, as well as Target. I purchased some nice sundresses this year, which are a must here in Texas! I tried the cinnamon in my coffee but wasn’t a fan of it not mixing in thoroughly, so I placed some cinnamon on top of the coffee grounds and it worked! All the cinnamony flavor without it floating in my coffee.
Early mornings are the best! I have a morning routine - laundry load on, swish and swipe the toilet and sink, empty the dishwasher, and most importantly peace and quiet time. Every morning before I leave for work. Keeps the house (and me!) ticking over so well. The Fly Lady inspired this, and I have never looked back. Keep it up!!! Stunning dress also.
That dress is gorgeous! Does not look like a Walmart dress at all. I wear dresses all winter (and I live in the north too) and I often wear leggings under them. Looks just like tights but warmer and easier. You are looking so gorgeous these days!

We love Carter's or children's place for dress shoes! I agree I'm trying to do the morning rise like you! I have a 13,3,11 yr olds. Plus 6 day care kids during the day! I love the feeling of laundry started early and cooking hot breakfast for my kids!
Oh I love that you are walking in your back yard! I thought I was the only person that did that LOL! I actually get a mile a day in. I love not having to get on the main road and deal with traffic!

I wouldn't really be alone. Maybe I need to keep them in their rooms till 7 but not sure how that would fly.

I love a candle burning on the kitchen counter in the morning with my coffee. I do this all year long. Its just a soothing visual that promotes a peaceful feeling. I also have a small mini lamp with a red lamp shade on a tray on the counter which I have on 24/7. As far as Walmart upping their game. I agree but they are also upping their prices! I saw a nice womens corduroy collar shirt for fall in a beautiful color ... but it was $34.99 !!!! Thats pretty high priced for Walmart. I left it there since had other necessities on my list.

I’m not a morning person but I fantasize about getting up for early morning runs when my kids are a little older and I’m not pregnant half the time. 😂 For anyone who gets up early, when do you spend time with your spouse? We usually chat for an hour or so after the kids are in bed and I’m not sure I could do that with a 5:30 wake-up.
We still have our evenings together after the kids are in bed. In fact, he’s actually been inspired to wake up earlier and walk with me before work so that’s been a welcomed addition!

Ah those Gola shoes brought back memories. We used to wear Gola shoes in India. It’s a popular brand there and in the UK as well and India being a former British colony, has many brands from there. Gola is a UK based shoe company.
You are so disciplined! I used to be because I had my kids on a good routine, but once they started doing stuff for themselves, my discipline went out the window. 🤣🤔 I couldn't wear dresses all winter. I drop kids off at school, go to the gym, then I am home cleaning and doing regular stay at home mom duties until pick up time and carting them to extracurriculars. Leggings and a nicer shirt with comfy shoes for me! Everyday.
That dress looks great on you! Walmart has really improved their clothing selection in the last few years. I love the black boots with the dress. I need black boots too but don't usually wear very high heels. I love the beautiful fall prints Old Navy has right now. My issue with them is all of their tops and dresses seem to be cut a little short so if they are washed they shrink and then I think they are too short! You could do a walk-in appt at Great Clips if you are desperate for a cut!

He sleeps in later but actually we’ve been walking together the past few mornings which has been really nice then he gets ready. I do make his coffee but he typically doesn’t eat breakfast or just grabs something to have later on in the morning 💛
Thank you for the upload! Your videos are always so inspirational for me. When you speak of life changing I feel that way in regards to IF. I am also trying to increase my protein intake. When I need something to tie me over I will make a protein shake but not a full meal (I use Aloha), or I will add it to some overnight oats. I wish I could wake up earlier, but mentally I am just not there yet, lol.

It’s tricky, there is a table nutritionist use to tell you how much protein you should have per day for your height and weight. Love ya!
