@@HookedOnRoute66 when the grand canyon becomes packed with people and they have to start making reservations (maybe it already is) to visit, people will just end up going to Williams instead. Unfortunately, Williams probably won't remain the quaint Route 66 destination we crave.
Wow. Looks pretty awesome. I wanna go now lol. I was also amazed on the camera footage. Looks like the camera is hovering over you, like a drone. But seen the shadows. Excellent!!! 👍
@@HookedOnRoute66 I've walked long-distance on old U.S.Rt.40 between Delaware and St.Louis several times, as well as further west. It used to go all the way to San Francisco, but now only as far as Salt Lake City, although the roads are still there of course.
I wish that was there when we were in Williams last October. That was awesome video. How did you do that? Looked like you were adjusting an invisible pole. I don’t see 30 million bucks though. How could you ever recoup your investment at $20 per ride?
Something seems off on those numbers. It would take 1,500,000 rides to recoup that money without taking any operating costs or repairs into those numbers. You'd need 411 riders a day for 10 years straight to pay that back if employees were getting paid $0 and repairs cost $0. The cost of the 20 acres clearly matters though... I wish I knew what that was because the value in that land can be taken out of that cost. If they're claiming it was 30 million, I think this is probably a money laundering scheme.
I wish them well, it's gonna take a long time to recoup those $30 mill. at $20 a pop. Anyone travelling near should stop and enjoy plus support this undertaking. Do you know if this is open year round?
It is open year round. They're going to have other attractions as well, but I'm sure the coaster is the highlight. I agree, it's going to take a long time to earn that investment back. I'm still glad to see it happening.
That ride is gonna make a mint for the owner/operator.
30 million going to take a while to pay for.

We’re going next weekend. Driving from Southern Cal. Williams, AZ is a cool place to stay. Great restaurants, small town vibe, mountain scenery.
Looks like you had fun

It is an invisible pole. Not sure how the camera does it but it deletes the pole from the video somehow. You can see the pole in the shadows.
