If you grew up playing and loving tables in the arcades, and miss that experience, this is a must buy. Very immersive, and well done with attention to detail. Season 1 pack is well worth the money.

For those that don't know there is a table guide for each table. Call up the menu screen during the game, and select "guide" I think it's called, but it shows you everything on the table. These tables are so insanely deep it's not even funny. After a year of playing I found the guides and learned everything I was missing, and it was a lot! I still play all the time. I really wish they would VR the Star Wars and Marvel tables.. Oh and have you done Polybius yet? Played last night and noticed he changed a bunch of stuff around..
This is the perfect show to watch early in the morning at work with that first coffee
I've Purchased all the tables 3 Times on 3 different Systems and have just recently purchased the VR Set as well! and still love them! It's the closest I'll get to owning a large collection of full size tables! This is a great review. well done guys.

The screaming E.T., when losing a ball, really freaked me out. More than RE7. But the other tables are great.
Great discussion 👍. I love this game a lot. I just got the walking dead table on sale, and I totally recommend it. I wish they'd release south park pinball in VR.

My favourite pinball video game was probably pinball fantasies on the Amiga CD32 back in the day. The haunted house table was excellent and kept me up playing regularly till 4am lol. Love the channel guys.
Bought it as a PS Plus special for 5 bucks. Ended up buying the Universal Classics dlc for 10. Was worth it.
If I have one complaint it's that your pool hall can only display 3 tables.
I'd like to see a future version of this game in which you can full loco around the room, decorate and arrange the tables, with multiplayer support so u and a buddy or 2 could play different tables and chat in the same room man thatd be a killer app.
It is so fun. Love it. Its my go to game for when I'm tired and only want a quick sitting down session
I was thinking of replicating the front of a pinball machine with a re-jigged old controller with side buttons and plunger to my coffee table for immersion! Lol
I own this game and all the current DLC and I can honestly say its one of the psvr games I always come back to and play regularly...its one of those games like Catch & Release that is not only great but also relaxing..a must have for PS VR owners...I have a question for everyone...what is your favorite pinball table in this game?

The physical version published by Perp games included the 'season 1' DLC on disc!

Wow, I’ve put lots of hours into this game, but I never noticed that the view out of the window changes with each table! 🤯. I’m defo checking out this game later to take a look! Great chat guys 👍
This was one of the rare episodes where I was in suspense for your ratings. I rarely hear it talked about on the channel, but my experience with it was pretty amazing.
I bought all the tables on sale after watching Bryan play the Universal Studios tables. I was never a big fan of flat screen pinball, but vr pinball is really enjoyable.

I've wanted a real pinball machine for many years. Now that I have pinball in VR I'm less bummed out that I can't afford to get a table in reality.
I've purchased the base game and all the additional tables on PSVR, Go, and the Quest. I also bought an Xbox S controller for the Go version, (it doesn't play well with the standard 3DOF pointer).
With the exception of the oddly low resolution texture maps on the Paranormal Activity table in the Quest version, all three versions are excellent. (I contacted the developer about the issue and they're looking into it.)

You know, I just bought this game an hour or 2 ago :). The base game, since that one is on sale (50% off) here. Looks nice and plays nice. Hoping the sale comes again for the other tables.
Thank you for the info! Love pinball but was undecided. The fact that there’s weightability to the tables, lots of table detail and a great sale on this game at the PS store, I’m going to go for it. Loved the review.

I never really liked Pinball, but I sank almost 60 hours into the Twilight Zone board on the PS4 Pinball Arcade. Once you read and learn what are you actually supposed to do on the board - it is insanely addictive.
Thing is - I am somewhat curious how does VR pinball work, given that most of displays are still blurry.
i know that you say that the price of the 12 tables are expensive but i find that it is worth every penny i used to go to arcades and play tables like Adams Family Star Trek TNG it would cost me £1.00 for 3 games and i was rubbish at playing them so £65.00 for 12 tables i think is just awesome for VR and now i have got a little better at playing them. it as save me so much money not having to go and play in an arcade on other tables even thou now there are not many around now in my area. i do love the fact that this is got so much playability as it is never ending if you can keep the ball in play. every time i want to know what a game is like in VR i always check your reviews because they give me so much information on how the game plays as to weather i buy it or not so thank you for your reviews they are awesome
Base game is on sale for £6.19 in the UK. Been humming and hawing over this one for a while. Should I take a punt on it?

Great discussion thanks Bryan and Dez, as much as I love this game totally agree with Dez that it's a 2, but only because the price nothing wrong with the game. Favorite tables are Terminator 2, Adam's Family Values, South Park, and Space Cadet Pinball from windows 98 PCs like Dez mentioned, it was AMAZING. Thanks dudes! Meeeeow.

I bought the initial core bundle......and then like a crack feind I HAD to buy all of the DLC packs.......no regrets.....love them all!!!

A two for me. Bought in a sale and a go to whilst downloading other vr titles or patches. But the extra tables are a no unless on sale.
I’m tempted to grab some extra tables as psn currently has a major sale on PSVR games
Good game but if feel that if it had an option to adjust the height of the player's position it would have been much better.
Currently I am holding the headset way above my head and then press options before wearing it so that I am positioned closer to the table. The guys in Zen Studios are probably all giants, lol.
Yessss, my only complaint is not seeing all my tables on display.
I got the game and all the dlcs when they were discounted... soooo goood. Hope for more tables but I doubt it
I realize that by saying anything, I am probably jinxing it. But I don't think I've ever seen a video with 2000+ views, 150+ likes, and zero dislikes. I am impressed.
I played that addams family pinball machine but I'm pretty sure it was broken I must have played for over an hour and it was still going I only paid once and it just kept giving me the ball back, I left the pub it was in with the game still playing
It's the best pinball game I ever played since Slam Tilt on Amiga.
Now what about Infinite Minigolf ? Did you notice it's a really beautiful game on psvr ? It's seems Without Parole never speaks about it.
I love this game so much! I know no one will agree but it's in my top 5 PSVR games for sure. If you buy the Zen studios Vr collection you get the Season 1 pack and Universal studios tables for free.

@@craigprocter1232 as far as I know the collection is only on disk. You can pick it up really cheap second hand

A perfection on Pinball experience!
I've been playing video game pinball since pinball construction set came out in 1983 by EA. To be able to experience these tables in VR is nothing short of amazing, especially for pinball fans. Also- No one should be paying $14.99 for this when it's been on sale for as low as $4.49 (DLC too). so if you want this just wait for the next deep discount sale.
I remember Pinball Construction Set! But my favorite retro pinball games of all time are Alien Crush and Devil’s Crush on TurboGrafx16. I wish we could get those tables as DLC.
@@WithoutParole Alien Crush is the only reason I'm buying the TurboGrafx mini. I never owned a turbo graphix but a friend did so I played alien crush but not as much as I wanted too...such a cool game.
really disappointed that they are not wanting to port any more tables
......one thing off topic, but kinda on Pinball FX 2 (not 3) on PS4 supports 3D tv play (but not in the headset for some reason)......we can watch 3D blu-rays but not a game that has it?
......only reason I brought it up is because if they never port the other tables this would have been a great addition to get some depth of field.......would love if they could patch it 😀😀😀😀😀😀

Dez is going to be very much missed around here. Filming WWL with him was my favorite part of each week.
Definitely a quality app, I love it. Personally I feel the whole collection is a bit overpriced normally, so watch out for that sale!
Really like pinball fx2 vr. Paranormal is my favourite though I don’t have all of the tables. Found jaws really disappointing, the table is pretty unplayable. Like you mentioned you need to learn each table as there is no guidance on how to unlock the special modes. Hope they release more soon.

I use Bryan's scores in this game a benchmark goal to beat.
I'm not really good and haven't spent nearly enough time with most of the tables. But now you're making me feel competitive! :D
@@WithoutParole You are still better at this then me. One time I had a great round in Back to the Future and thought it would of beat your score. Nope yours was still WAY higher.

Banging the table to influence the ball, that's nudging. Losing the ball down the side channels, the ball is exiting via the drain. Not an expert but I think that's right.
Tilt
GreGgaeRasta Fari Tilt is when you nudge the table too hard, the table has sensors to detect motion so tilting the table stops the table functioning for the current ball, the flippers stop working and the ball will drain and you can't stop it. Good players know how much they can nudge a table without causing a tilt.

Nice! That means I've done my job well. I'd love to show you some screenshots from Premiere that shows the 2 or 3 major cuts (and roughly 10 minor cuts) that happen on this show weekly. :D

I've only seen the universal pack go on sale in the us maybe twice since release, if anyone is even remotely interested in that one grab it when it does
Exactly. I checked out psprices.com and it's gone on sale exactly twice, both times for half price! :D
@@WithoutParole Even at half price it ain't worth it seeing as they didn't bother getting the rights to the original voices and soundtracks for each of those tables.

I wish I enjoyed pinball tables more, as I admire the passion of those that are TRULY into them, but every single pinball game is grossly overpriced. That said, I'd recommend anyone considering this, wait until everything is half off, then get what you want at that time. I have the whole shabang, but even at halfprice the value was still kinda' 'meh'.
As for why I never really liked pinball, it probably has a lot to do with how cryptic everything is, and how I never feel like I'm seeing the best parts of the tables. You can say I just suck at pinball, but that's really not it - It's more of knowing there's certain things you have to do to make things happen, but you never know what those things are, nor are you ever sure you're on the right track, even with the visual/audio cues the tables give. I know that's part of the nature of them, but I just never liked that about them (it didn't help matters that I only ever played them in bars as a kid where quarters were in short supply, so I was always done playing far before I discovered anything worthwhile). These virtual ones are a bit better, because they use the magic of VR very well, but I can't help but feel that I've never seen the best part of any given table, and that sucks...
The good thing about these Pinball FX tables is that they always come with a guide on how to access every section of the table.
SO you don't have to randomly hit everything until you figure out what you are supposed to do.
You still have to be able to hit specific targets though, since the most fancy stuff is usually behind some tricky shots.
