good point but tbh backpack is better QoL because vigilance is finnicky to maintain and losing it would tank your dps considerably for solo play imo. and in group play you’d ideally use chest+backpack so it doesnt matter

I don't know. I prefer the striker bag, because the damage buff doesn't go away when I take damage. I do have palisade with Obliterate. One armour core. They go down fast enough. I'll give PGC a shot for a bit, or heck, just on the Palisade and see how I go with it. Thanks dod.
My clan mates keep insisting we all have a Striker build for raids, even though I really am uncomfortable with all red builds... And the build you're showing with Glass Cannon is very damaging, I freely admit... But to have such miniscule armor really freaks me out! I'll try that alt build you're recommending with a blue piece, thanks!😅
If you're no comfortable run an all red with unbreakable. They are the most efficient way to clear most content in all honesty. The armour means almost next to nothing in raids apart from dedicated builds for certain tasks so don't let your team down by not running an all red - man up and do it ;) now that strikers is in the game it is double easy. We used to have to do it with all red high ends! The single blue is worthless. It will be stripped off you in nanoseconds.
i was thinking in termas of consistent damage having even perfect vigilance would still basicaly means just dont get hit or utilize shield well but if you use any other meantioned backpack you dont have to worry about that basicaly makes it more fluent and consistent as damage and ramp of it doenst it ?

I wanted to ask, would the Lex build with 58% CHC and 140% CHD be better or equal to going full 60%? I was thinking of putting on a CHD attachment mod for the Lex instead of full CHC, but I wanted to ask if it's worse for me to do that or better.
I left it at 58 CHC so that you can remove 1 CHC mod and replace it with a CHD mod should you be in a group with someone running Coyotes. Though, if you play Solo for the vast majority of the time, going to the full 60% would be more benefitial.
Weapon damage starts to get lower returns to scale the more you add in. Since the addition of Expertise, things like Fenris died. 10% weapon is mostly useless now. Weapon damage is still of use, but you need like 30 - 40% of it to get a similar effect.
the difference on the back is 0,65 vs 0,90% wep dmg with 100 stacks (without body) = 25% wep dmg . Vigilance = 25% wep dmg .... soo it's exactly the same? and yes it's stronger before stacking but it's 0 for 3 sec when you get hit soo it's either stacking or loosing the buff from time to time. unstoppable force is also 25% but it builds even slower. But we using coyote's so I don't understand how you come to more dmg with this?

Like Spotter and Flatline (both amps) will not result in 15+15=30%, instead it's 1.15x1.15=1.3225 (32.25%). So Striker backpack is a 90% increase but Striker+Vigilance is 1.65x1.25=2.0625 (106.25%) because Vigilance is Total Weapon Damage. TWD is separate but additive with other TWD, so Vigilance+Obliterate is 25%+20%=45%(1.45 multiplier). So Stirker+Vigilance+Obliterate is 1.65x1.45=2.3925 (139.25%), and Striker back+Obliterate is 1.9x1.2=2.28 (128%).

They spawn everywhere now more than ever, especially behind you. Finishing a activity can have you running 4 blocks up the street now. And the npc flanking is just ridiculous 😅. There has been zero changes to adds minus the weapon rebalance which does effect adds. Sadly, what you are describing is just lack of experience. I exclusively run 6 red in Solo Heroic with 3 - 5 Directives and I am perfectly fine 99% of the time. The above video is an exert from a 3 hours recording session, running 4 mission and multiple Open World events, I died once because I sat myself near an explosive barrel while trying to heal. 100% my fault, not the adds. Also, 8k SHD is nothing to scoff at. Do not put yourself down like that dude.
Kill them before you get killed...that's the survivability in this game. You can't blue core/armor on kill your way out of drone/grenade spam, and even if you do, you'll run out of ammo fighting 1 elite and then be pummeled by their friends.

@In TU 16 they buffed striker so that it was TWD and not AMP damage because the damage was lacking having to calculate damage at the end of the chain instead of in the middle

@DodRegnbue theres some truth to that but I guess you and the rest of these youtuers that run all red builds with glass cannon never get dropped is unbelievable to me and doesn't reflect most of player base out there. But nonetheless I do like your content.
Technically the nerf to the backpack is not a 10% loss to dps, it's a 10% increase to the amount of shots it takes to get to max stacks. You still get the same amount of stacks, it just takes SLIGHTLY longer to get there. With most higher RPM guns, it's a difference of a second or two.
Not 100% accurate. The change reduced weapon damage per stack from 1% to 0.9% which at max stacks is a 10% loss of weapon damage. The time it takes to reach max stacks is dependent on rate of fire and bullets hitting the target.
Not even remotely accurate. Max Stacks is still 100. Or 200 with chest. The amoutn of time to gain those has nothing to do with the actual Stack value. The value of each stack was 1, not it is 0.9. At 100 Stacks, we had 100% damage multiplier. Now we have 90% damage multiplier. This is a 10% Damage loss.
🫡Yup, I run it (or the regular gc) everyday solo pve. But I play a ton of Open World (hostage, cp, etc..) and I'm just not able to go all red like Dod is suggesting. But I am run and gun with that power not duck and hide😅

Especially group team play. It all comes down to skill level and how well you know the game, spawn points, etc. If we both started playing this game today for the first time.. i ran stiker memento cheska, you ran villgance glass cannon. Two things will happen, I will dominate you in kills, or I'm picking you up every 3 mins. If I can take more damage and regen, it means I can spend fewer times in cover and get in positions to maximize my dps. This is just a fact... See, it's more to this game than DPS... There are points during a mission that these things will come into play. But they are so minimal. I doubt it would give you an advantage. Are you on PS? I'll run with you.
I assume all of these spreadsheets have been done on dummies at Shooting Range, therefore, the paper value of this build might just be the best, but in any combat scenario, i will always value .9% striker backpack more than (Perfect) Vigilance, because Striker stacks persist for a while, while Vigilance falls off the moment someone sneezes in your direction, Striker simpy has much more uptime than Vigilance (i play mostly RAIDS, Incursions and Legendary content). I dislike (Perfect) Glass Cannon in every way, shape and form. What you get doesn't seem worth it to what you have to sacrifice. The standard (and still the most consistent) Strikers build is - Striker's Mask, Backpack, Kneepads, Gloves - Gruppo Chestpiece with Obliterate - Česká holster - Lexington with Killer talent

I'm using 4 Strikers, Centurion holster, Cesca with Glass cannon + modifiers in Countdown. It's very fun and productive :)

Hunters fury makes great of the vig8l named backpack with the like glue shotgun and whatever flavor of smg you prefer, dark winter, oreo.

You have to get it to drop with CHC, CHD and the Talent you want, then you can recalibrate the Armour Core to Weapon Damage.

When setting up crit stats, just multiply CHC with CHD, the bigger number will give better dps.

I was the only one in my last Countdown run who didn't use a Striker build. This game is becoming a joke.
Pure DPS yes its nice but in actual game play heroic or higher I find it difficult to just survive but thats division right theres always a trade off.

I play Solo Heroic with 3 - 5 Directives 99% of the time and I always use Full Red Glass Cannon builds.
@DodRegnbue theres some truth to that but I guess you and the rest of these youtuers that run all red builds with glass cannon never get dropped is unbelievable to me and doesn't reflect most of player base out there. But nonetheless I do like your content.

Technically the nerf to the backpack is not a 10% loss to dps, it's a 10% increase to the amount of shots it takes to get to max stacks. You still get the same amount of stacks, it just takes SLIGHTLY longer to get there. With most higher RPM guns, it's a difference of a second or two.
Not 100% accurate. The change reduced weapon damage per stack from 1% to 0.9% which at max stacks is a 10% loss of weapon damage. The time it takes to reach max stacks is dependent on rate of fire and bullets hitting the target.
Not even remotely accurate. Max Stacks is still 100. Or 200 with chest.
The amoutn of time to gain those has nothing to do with the actual Stack value.
The value of each stack was 1, not it is 0.9. At 100 Stacks, we had 100% damage multiplier. Now we have 90% damage multiplier.
This is a 10% Damage loss.

🫡Yup, I run it (or the regular gc) everyday solo pve. But I play a ton of Open World (hostage, cp, etc..) and I'm just not able to go all red like Dod is suggesting. But I am run and gun with that power not duck and hide😅
@@bigjay52 I run all red from day one except for status effect if needed . I have one tank build which literally gave me a headache for two days after running DUA solo on legendary . I don't die unless I fuck up by not paying attention or getting cocky .

@DodRegnbue How? with a excel spread sheet complied with damage data in gun range. This does not translate to competitive game play. You seem like a smart guy, so I assumed you know this. Especially group team play.
It all comes down to skill level and how well you know the game, spawn points, etc. If we both started playing this game today for the first time.. i ran stiker memento cheska, you ran villgance glass cannon. Two things will happen, I will dominate you in kills, or I'm picking you up every 3 mins. If I can take more damage and regen, it means I can spend fewer times in cover and get in positions to maximize my dps. This is just a fact...
See, it's more to this game than DPS... There are points during a mission that these things will come into play. But they are so minimal. I doubt it would give you an advantage.

I assume all of these spreadsheets have been done on dummies at Shooting Range, therefore, the paper value of this build might just be the best, but in any combat scenario, i will always value .9% striker backpack more than (Perfect) Vigilance, because Striker stacks persist for a while, while Vigilance falls off the moment someone sneezes in your direction, Striker simpy has much more uptime than Vigilance (i play mostly RAIDS, Incursions and Legendary content). I dislike (Perfect) Glass Cannon in every way, shape and form. What you get doesn't seem worth it to what you have to sacrifice.
The standard (and still the most consistent) Strikers build is
- Striker's Mask, Backpack, Kneepads, Gloves
- Gruppo Chestpiece with Obliterate
- Česká holster
- Lexington with Killer talent
I’ll have to try this, I’m still running coyotes mask, grupo chest with obliterate and rest strikers.
