My god I knew someone was going to bring up auto tune... this literally would need auto tune for the out of pitches notes you don’t have any idea what you’re talking about. Some times auto tune is used as an effect. He sounds good but most vocalist the are signed you hate are better vocalist. You may not like their voice better which is subjective. Pitch isn’t subjective. He sounds great so don’t get me wrong I wish I sang like him.

This song always takes me back to my route 66 trip with my two brothers and my dad. We are from Scotland and it was the trip of a lifetime - so many unique moments that will be with me forever. That road did take me home, but it wasn't west Virginia - it took me home to my pregnant wife in Scotland and 13 years later I can still shut my eyes and feel a million miles away
I drove down route 66 with my ex girlfriend, at 3AM, during a blizzard near Arizona. No lights, no one else on the road. Just me, her, and the country road. I'll never forget it.
