I just upgraded from my Galaxy S8+ to my new S10+. Definently love it. I've been with the Samsung for the last 6 years and have had no issues with them.
Haven’t found yet something so breathtaking to make me switch from iPhone to Samsung. Been using almost all iPhones and and a few Samsungs in parallel and iOS is something that I don’t see any Android to overcome it in the near future. iOS is just flawless. Not to mention the interconnectivity of all Apple products I use. From the last generation of iPhones I use an XR and it is just more than I need. Smoothness, speed, errorless and great performance. Give me something that I really need and would use often on a Samsung and I do not have on my iPhone and maybe I’ll start to consider...
Android user. Used to be an iPhone user. iOS falls short for ease of moving files n and off the device without using a computer. Also, the audio quality via Bluetooth is a major factor in favor of android. Expandable storage, headphone jack, I could go on and on as to why I prefer android.
Best comparison I've seen... and believe me I've seen like 20 of those hahahahaha I'm team android love samsung camera and screen... so colorful and vibrant... but I have to admit Iphone are such good phones too... in this year we can't complain about speed or performance of the top's phones... now is just preferences Android (EMUI / ONEUI / Android pure ) or IOS. SALUDOS DESDE COLOMBIA :D
As a owner of the XsMax and S10+ I can honestly say from my user experience Samsung and Andriod has gotten better from where it was but still not as polished as iOS camera is excellent on S10+ but apps still crash slight lag at times and the edge screen accidentally touches is very annoying other than those issues is a nice phone.
This is a joke right? Samsung and One UI all day!! Night mode by itself changes the whole Samsung experience. Navigating and menu options are way more easier, look beautiful, and feel better. Many options and customizations for settings. Multi tasking is on another level. New interface for Bixby is gorgeous. Samsung Edge lighting for notifications is insane. Everything customizable. One handed mode, floating keyboard, customizable for lefties or righties, better camera features... Since the Galaxy S8, there is nothing that compares to Samsung. S8 and up phones look beautiful with the curved edges. Hard to put these phones down bc there is so much more to it. Learn something new everyday. Even the flip cover cases are more advanced than any iPhone case. My case alerts me to notifications, battery life, music, time and date and doesn't require charging. (Im actually confused by how this works, but it just makes it that much cooler). Dedicated iPhone users are people that are afraid to let go of the past. Kind of like the old person in your family who is cool with just having a flip phone but you see them struggling to text someone 🤣.. It's more of a status and social thing. Countless times I've been on my phone and my Apple user friends are like, "oh, you can do that on your phone?" I see the look in their face. Even though they know, they will never admit it. Anyone who switched from Apple to Samsung in last 2 years, and is honest, can tell you that the Samsung experience is way better. Especially since One UI and the recent updates, it not even close. Apple has no phone to compete with the Notes. I can go on and on.. Apple had the first touch screen phone on the market, I get it, but Samsung's innovations have surpassed Apples dominance in the phone game. Even the iPhone X phones still looks like you're looking at a first generation iphone with better resolution. Jump to a newer Samsung phone and it's like stepping into a portal and ending up in a very distant future. If aliens used smart phones, they would use a newer Samsung Galaxy with the One Ui update. Apple died with Steve Jobs (RIP). Apple is like Shaq trying to come out of retirement. It's like the whole Lebron-Jordan debate. Yes Jordan was the king in his day.. But I doubt Jordan can step on an NBA court today and be effective against Lebron now. Many ways to say it, but simply, Samsung is far more superior
No joke, just personal preference. I absolutely love your enthusiasm though! All of those features are great, and I enjoy them on my Samsung phones too!
iphone x max is unable to play 4k youtube, but samsung galaxy can. and 4k youtube is amazing to look at in samsung. display is the best in samsung. everything is great in samsung.

Good work man. One of the most comprehensive comparison available on youtube between these two beasts. S10+ is way ahead than X max. You deserve more subscribers.
I have a (too expensive) S10+ on the way, but I think it offers something different rather than "more" as this video covers. I know 100% in not getting the iPhone I'm sacrificing: better portrait photos, better video, better navigation gestures, more polished and fluid apps (e.g. Snapchat on Android is abysmal), and a smoother operating system. I also prefer the flat display on iPhone. I'm choosing to give that up so I can have: slightly better battery, a slightly better 2x telephoto lens, Samsung Pay, and a slightly better display notch.
@@fkasample1543 sounds good and there are features like the sd card and dek and headphone jack which may or may not come in handy later, and 8GB ram/128GN storage, which is useful, if you multi task, have two apps open, or a ton of tabs open, and powershare, if you get the airpods, galaxy buds, or need it in an emergency, but most might never need those, you also have $100 or more in your pocket, and that superwide angle, which again you might never need. Both are great phones though.
@@Tigerex966 Yeah perhaps I'm taking the headphone jack for granted, as I've never not had it (or know if bluetooth headphones are inconvenient). Powershare seems a bit gimmicky and I ignore it exists. I'll only perhaps ever use it if I get those earbuds and forget to charge them; I generally rather have phone battery over all else. SD card I've never once used in any of my Galaxy phones, and I'd rather have my data backed up to the cloud anyways. The extra ram is also sorta irrelevant, as iOS is quite literally so specifically/well engineered for mobile they use less RAM for smoother more reliable performance. So, although these certainly are bullet points on the feature list, I don't find them to be of too much substance I suppose.
Great video - I was once an Apple fan then I moved to Android. Still liked Apple's simplicity (My wife and I use ipads) - I decided to upgrade my aging Android and looked at both S10+, Apple X and Pixel3xl - I decided to go for the Pixel3xl until they increased the price after the release of Pixel3a - After calming down I looked at phones again and ended up buying a Galaxy S10+ from Amazon for £849 double the memory, double the storage and 5 cameras - It hasn't arrived yet but I am looking forward to using it.
cistokrvni Bosanac But now the phone doesn’t feel any type of smooth without animations. Apple strikes the perfect balance between speed and fluidity in its animations, and only feel slower because of the animations
the most interesting thing for me when it comes to comparing iphone vs android is the something that everyone is neglecting to mention in their reviews. the fact that samsung slows over time is something apple phones don't suffer from. 3 years later, you're galaxy S10+ won't be nearly as fast as it is today, but your Xs max definitely will be...
I'm still using my Samsung s8 and haven't factory reset. My phone is still fresh . Still handles my task pretty normal. No lag. Only wierd apps which I can still close and open again. Stop saying what you dont know. This slow down ended since Samsung s7. Every other flag ship is a beast . Android has come a long way. Go get updated
ok so it comes down to a point when you need to know about a concept called hardware optimization to understand what i mean. you can build a software that speaks to hardware on the basis of regular bits, 0 and 1, or you can build your software in the most optimized way you can think of, and then build a hardware that instead of 0 and 1, operates with the functions of your operating system. that way, every small task like screen animations isn't exactly a process. so you'll almost never see any apple devices lag when running animations, that was a very small example of what this method is capable of. and that concept opens a lot of ways for optimizing hardware power and efficiency. it can practically increase the processing power by several order of magnitudes in some cases. this also minimizes the "getting slow" problem if you ever see any. but in android phones, every single thing that happens on the screen is processed by the main cpu, so in many cases, especially while heavy using, you'll find some tasks (again like screen animations) a lot less fluid and eye-pleasing than they normally are. that's because none of them are making their hardware themselves. actually now that i know that android phones have solved their "getting slow" problem to an acceptable degree, i still prefer ios mainly because the fluidity of the ecosystem. i'm a life time android user, and i just started using apple phones recently, and i never felt so satisfied doing my things with my phone back then. actually almost everything is more satisfying here, that makes me care less about lack of customization options in comparison to android.
Then say its preference case closed. If works for you doesnt make the other less fortunate or lacking behind . And who uses a phone for 3 years these days. The ecosystem works for you fine . My android works for me in ways which I dont see the need to move to other os. But you saying my android will slow down over time currently is false info. Phones are built better these days . All this grammar of optimization and stuff . Look handle a good flag ship . You'll know the difference. There's no time my phone lagged compared to when i was using midrange devices . This Is a 2017 phone. Still rocking . I haven't done hard rest yet and my phone hasn't lagged. Or not really a noticeable lag . Flag ships and midrange devices are different. iPhone is iPhone because all they produce are flag ships . That's the difference. They don't compromise to meet the need of other users . Get the iPhone if you have enough bucks to spare. If you dont leave it . Its that simple .that's how iPhones are. Switching to the s10. didnt see the nee dto switch to s9.
Of course! Although software updates tend to fix issues with lagging, crashes etc which aren’t particularly an issue with the S10s at the moment. Hopefully Android Q will bring some improvements though!
From xr to s10 plus i must say the new os is way way better now I've been an apple fanboy for years , i took a leap and the best decision ever ..i always tend to go for the phones with the best battery life loving it

Certainly is! It’s annoying because it would be easier for Apple to add more features to make iOS more versatile, but they won’t. Whereas Android is slowly becoming more fluid but won’t catch up Apple’s ecosystem. Looking forward to seeing who gets there first!
@@insidetechltd To be honest, Android would probably get to the punch first. I feel Apple is too stubborn to have different features that are associated to be "not apple-like" while Android does not really care as much.

Facts. Using an iPhone is just to stressful, but when you use an Android phone, especially Samsung S10 PLUS, ITS AN AMAZING PHONE.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it! A very nicely balanced opinion too.
Hello from the U.K.!
I’ve tried both and I feel like there’s a tie, honestly... I love messages on iPhone but love battery life on android so it’s a 50/50
As a owner of the XsMax and S10+ I can honestly say from my user experience Samsung and Andriod has gotten better from where it was but still not as polished as iOS camera is excellent on S10+ but apps still crash slight lag at times and the edge screen accidentally touches is very annoying other than those issues is a nice phone.
Nice assessment!
kaydan9906 *DAMN YOU RICH* :(
you can turn off edge touch
Your videos are so great and in depth that I've just subscribed!! 😀

1000 is to much for both
S10 offers way more way way more for less
I agree with both of these points!
I totally agree. It's a phone that run apps...
This is the best most in depth review I’ve seen

Great video - I was once an Apple fan then I moved to Android. Still liked Apple's simplicity (My wife and I use ipads) - I decided to upgrade my aging Android and looked at both S10+, Apple X and Pixel3xl - I decided to go for the Pixel3xl until they increased the price after the release of Pixel3a - After calming down I looked at phones again and ended up buying a Galaxy S10+ from Amazon for £849 double the memory, double the storage and 5 cameras - It hasn't arrived yet but I am looking forward to using it.
Thank you. The android/iPad combo is pretty good I think. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by the S10+, it’s an excellent device!

S10+ is better yet it's priced lower than the iPhone XS max
A vivid picture is really big for me, so s10+ with 4k is just incomparable with bigger storage plus all the freebie accessories!
Traded my s10+ for a xs max the s10 is the better phone but the iPhone does things well iMessage constant updates etc
the most interesting thing for me when it comes to comparing iphone vs android is the something that everyone is neglecting to mention in their reviews. the fact that samsung slows over time is something apple phones don't suffer from.
Team Galaxy. No brainer.
Thanks for the video . Do you feel that some updates could smooth out the s10s flaws .?
Of course! Although software updates tend to fix issues with lagging, crashes etc which aren’t particularly an issue with the S10s at the moment. Hopefully Android Q will bring some improvements though!
Outstanding work👍🏻👍🏻

Yet the price of an iPhone depreciates waaaaay slower than any android phone.
It’s worth getting because the market is higher after depreciation.

Versatility of Android and fluidity of IPhone... dream OS
