👋 hi there. I need advice. I am 20days late for my period and my periodbwas never late before. My last period was on 11october. Also, i got all these headache (felt more like migraine), cramping in my lower abdomen (some times), fatigue and sleepy along the day. I thought i was pregnant. But this morning on 7december2020, I started bleeding heavily. It started with dark brown blood and now it’s red. I checked and got a scan with the doctor and the doctor said it was nothing there😔😔😢😢 . I’m just grateful that there were no cyst or fibroid too. Those weird symptoms are not usual to me. and i assumed am pregnant but when i took a pregnancy test last Feb 10, 2021 the result is negative and it's so frustrating but still i waited my period to come. Me and my husband are using a donor to get pregnant as he doesn’t make sperm. I got my peak on july17. And inseminated that same night. I also started having a period type bleeding that same day. Hello. On july 25 the day of my period i start bleeding so i decided to test anyway while bleeding. My test came back as very clear faint positive. My bleeding only last for 3 days it always last five to 6 days but went off tuesday july 27 but after that on Wednesday july 28 i spot not a lot and it stop all in a suddenly i started to get really bad pregnancy symptoms. Since my test came out light but yes its a line i wanted to test again to see if my line will get any darker but if not i will be making appointment to see my doctor. So im hoping that im pregnant me and my husband wasn't trying hard but we do want a child and this will be my fourth child. Oh i forgot the bleeding did not look like my normally period it wasn't heavy it was middle to light and my period blood always be bright red but this one dark red to brown no blood clot at all barely no cramps.

@@OhMyMamaBody Yeah that's why when some doctors say you can't get pregnant on your period I wondered if they're all have studied women's bodies properly... ?!🤔🤭 I was so shocked that I found out when I was 3mnths pregnant and I was in high-school in Florida, I was always tired in school and when I got home, and the weird thing about my pregnancy is that I got eczema... went to the doctors complaining about my skin, I was walking from school and my legs would rub together and when I got home there was blood on my thighs... not coming from my vaginal area, so my mom and stepDad took me doctors and the doctor said it could be eczema... i couldn't believe it. How I found out I was pregnant is i started having stomach cramps, real bad cramping in the night and that night I had told my aunt u thought that I was pregnant and 10/20 minutes later my stomach started hurting me and I started crying and told my mom and she and my stepdad rushed me to the hospital and that's how I found out... but I was so scared that my mother would be mad at me but she wasn't she was shocked 😃🤭 and because my stomach was so flat at 3 months they had to put some type of liquid in my stomach and 2 or 3 days later I saw my stomach beginning to get bigger and the nurse made an appointment for me to go to a midwife and she said to me and my mom that the next month I will find out the sex of my baby.... and it turned out to be a Girl🥰 My mom and I were so happy we went shopping right after finding out. How I agree to some point however i have plenty of woman in my life that actually had FLOWING full blown bleeding while pregnant and all babies were healthy. No issues at all. ALL woman are definitely different
Yes indeed there are women who full on bleed and often that’s why it gets mistaken for a period. Desidual bleeding does happen and I believe a couple of women have commented here about their own experiences

Yes you sure can, I just got a positive pregnancy test the 2nd day of my period. Just so happened I was at the doctor doing blood work and they called me later that day and told me the news.. I’m still in disbelief

Hi, i started my period 4 days ago. I am on birth control but I don’t take the last week pills I just let my body do it’s own thing and time 7 days goes by I usually start my new pill pack. It was extremely light to begin with this time more of a brownish color and it was light- spotting and I had unprotected sex and it just went away within a few hours after he finished in me. I’m extremely worried that my egg was fertilized and I took. It’s day 4 of my supposed to be period but I haven’t bleed in two days. It’s a light white or clear discharge but mainly happens in the shower or when I use the restroom. I’m cramping really bad. Please help.

@@OhMyMamaBody they aren’t horrible its more focused on the right side towards the front of my belly but they are kinda low. My appetite has increased over the past 3 days, I felt nauseous this morning but it soon went away. Cramps happen throughout the day but aren’t back to back constantly. I took a test this morning and it was a faint positive but I sent pictures to my friends and kept the test at a distance and they could definitely see the positive line. Really worried that i am. What are your thoughts?

Hi, thanks for reaching out. So you had sex on Day 7 of your cycle. It is possible for sperm to live up to 5 days which means up to Day 12 of your cycle.
The average ovulation window is Days 11-14. By the way, I ovulated starting Day 9 this month 😊
So when you look at this, there is a chance that you have met your ovulation window if you ovulated by Day 12 AND if there were a few sperms still alive 😊😊

Hi so my fiancé and I had unprotected sex from the 15th-17th of September where he finished inside each time. I wasn’t concerned because my period was predicted to start around the 16th or so which it ended up starting on the 17th. I have pretty normal cycles that are 25 days long and the app says I ovulated on the 29th of September. I had sex on the 22nd two days after my period ended and exactly 7 days before the app said i ovulated, but that time he did not finish in me. So now here I am 6dpo and I had a very light bleed today, I have had a sinus cold since Friday two days after I suspectedly ovulated. And had a lot of sneezing fits a few days before that while I was ovulating. I took a pregnancy yesterday morning 5 days after I ovulated and it came back negative. I’m super confused as to what is going on! Could I have gotten pregnant before my period? Because it’s too early for implantation to have occurred from the 22nd, at least I thought. Yeah but was it day 1 or day 5 that's totally different. If you have sex on the last day of your period you're already closer to being fertile than not. After the egg has died in your luteal/early menstrual phase then it's safer than in follicular phase

So it's easier to track my ovulation day etc.but not every woman is the same , it is best to track ovulation with ovulation strip test LH surge off of Amazon or eBay or another online website

Hi, so with calculating back, your period normally would have arrived on the 10th. That would make the 2nd of December day 20 of your cycle. Average ovulation is between days 11 and 15. But then it is always possible to get pregnant so there is always a chance. You could take a test in a day or two to check.

Hi! I'm just wondering if it is possible to still get he bleeding and be pregnant? I am not trying to conceive. I've had protected sex on January 1st. He did not cum and the condom was perfectly fine, it did not break. I was supposedly starting my period on January 8th but I missed it probably due to stress and fever. My period was late for 12 days and last January 22, I had really bad menstrual cramps and heavy bleeding(period lasted 7 days). Hi, the best thing to do is look for signs of ovulation. Spermien can stay alive for up to five days inside of you. If you ovulate more than five days after having unprotected sex then your chances of getting pregnant are low. Do you know when you ovulate?

But I had still seen it was a possibility even whilst on your period. Maybe less likely. But about the side effect is it normal to have cramps even 4 days after taking the plan b tablet?? Oh s lot of ladies have peculiar side affects from Plan B - just based on the comments I get here. Two have been pregnant after taking it, others have had bleeding when not expected and others late but not pregnant. So it’s really hard to know.

I have irregular cycles, but most of the time it's 40-45 days long. I believe you can also ovulate late. I am sure that I conceived both my sons later on in my cycle as we only had sex in the week before my period! (My husband worked away from home during the week). Both boys arrived 10 days past the calculated due date so it makes sense to me that they were conceived later on in my cycle.
It's strange really as I once got pregnant on my period, so early in my cycle and then to go on and get pregnant so much later in my cycle!

How common is it for women to get pregnant on their period? If you have sex the first day when you start to bleed and have a 6/7 day length period can you still get pregnant?
Hi. I don't know any statistics around it at all. It really depends on the length of the menstrual cycle and when ovulation is. So if someone has a short cycle and ovulates early, then it's possible to get pregnant. I daren't say it isn't possible to get pregnant on the first day of your period but it is less likely. The possibility gets more likely as your period progresses of course. Hope that helps 🌺

Hi…ok you really need to know when you are ovulating and fertile. Do you notice when you get discharge like egg white each month? This is when you are most fertile. So wait and see when you get this sign after your period. And start tracking this every month - get a tracking app for this if you can. So you can get pregnant up to five days before you ovulate. Hopefully you will be ok but please do get to know your cycle so that you can be careful ❤️

Hi and thanks for writing to me. Sometimes we can get pregnant but it doesn't work out because of chromosomal problems so our bodies naturally bleed. We can feel pregnant but it's too early for a positive test. Or we can get a positive test only to bleed between 4-5 weeks. It is something called a chemical pregnancy. I have a video about that too because I have also experienced that.
