Austin, scrap those carbs (sell them since you put a lot of work into them) and get a 22R efi manifold and programmable ECU so you can tune the motor properly and don't have to worry about tuning for winter vs summer. It will still keep the rustic old skool look of the truck if you do the color matching to the manifold and will let you get the most of the motor build with the ease of programmable efi and adjustable timing too. Carbs suck!
Can’t wait for the body work hopefully you fix the part that the bed doesn’t line up with the cab it drives my ocd crazy……. Love the build tho keep the videos coming

Man I was watching you paint the booster and was disappointed that it wasn't white, then saw the bronze and yes, it looks great bronze. Then I saw you sandblasting the reservoir and was confused. I was even more confused when you painted it. But it does look better. Now you just need to paint that new washer reservoir I guess...
I had no idea this was current series. I just bought 79 pickup 2wd, and rebuilt the engine. Gonna put a carb sync setup on it. Now I had to figure out how to rewrite the whole thing into a new fuse box…that’s gonna suuuuck.
how bout making a video on removing all of the smog junk on an 80s Yota 22R. I see that you have none on this truck...I have an 86 4x4 I'm gonna rebuild the motor on and wanting to put a header on it and remove all of the smog junk...

If he were to go efi it should be with an efi side draft manifold, and gutted webers. That way it would still look killer.
