got mine today, and all I can say: I never want to get off it again.
this is a truely outstanding bike, the ease and responsiveness of the whole thing is incredible.
I remember my journey towards it like "hm looks fancy, nevermind" to more of a "why not have a test ride" ... which led to two test rides with a very competent dealership in my region and ultimately buying it wholeheartedly.
Sure, I might be flashed by the first glance and first rides, I may find some nitty gritty things about it later on.
But damn son, have I not been flashed by a bike like by the Vitpilen 701 for an endless time!

801/901 ought to be developed based on the 790/890 LC8c powerplant.

too weak this single-cylinder. it breaks your ears moreover. This bike deserves a 900 or 1000 cc twin.
