Ah, those uptown built in bookshelves reappear. I love those. Also, this is massive for a studio and great light and view. Not much to complain about at all.
If I were looking to move to NYC, I'd get this place in a HEARTBEAT. Facing the park is already a plus, also soooo many ways to set this up and make it really feel like a cozy and liveable space.
That's a decent rent for this studio. If it was me, I'd put one of those fireplace candles in there that mimics a real fireplace. Personally I'd have a Murphy bed so I could use the living space to the max.

Love the 'Classic NY!" A dog walking park. Sweet! 3:57 Beautiful building and entrance. My diy idea's are screaming! I would use nice wooden boxes in the bookshelves for a dresser and extra kitchenware. I would put the bed to the side of the windows and create a 5' x 7' screen to separate the living area from the bed and place a small corner couch against the screen. Use a 8x10 rug to ground the living area. Place a small 2 person table against the kitchen wall next to the fridge. This will leave an open walkway to everything. There are very nice apartment friendly white marble or white wood grain contact paper for the counter tops and kitchen door fronts to modernize the kitchen. WORTH 1900? YOU BET YOUR .... it is

I love this studio. I do a lot of crafts and the storage is spot on. I would put a narrow rolling table in the kitchen for a microwave, my Keurig, and for prepping. My mothers name is Violet.
This studio would be perfect for a raised bed (the ceilings are high enough) with an oversized headboard and an upholstered bench at the foot of the bed. I have seen this done before and it was amazing. I would choose an extravagant bed cover and too many decorative pillows. I am short, so this is the kind of bed you need a step stool for😄. I would find a place for one of those huge mirrors you lean against the wall. I think I would need to put up some type of window coverings for night though, because just as the big beautiful windows allow you to have so much light and a view of the park, they would allow people to look up and in. I love that the built in bookcases and fireplace were not removed in an earlier renovation. Other than having a space for my dream bed, I would furnish the apartment much like Cash describes, I think he has some type of design in his background. In the kitchen, the cupboard doors could be refaced or exchanged to upgrade it. I would volunteer myself or my husband to do the labor if the landlord paid for the materials, then I would take my measurements to a materials salvage store and find cabinet doors that fit (I know it isn’t that easy, but it is something I have always wanted to try). Also, the bathroom may be small, but it is updated very elegantly. I know this approximately 350 square foot studio (not including kitchen and bath) will be rented by the end of the week and I hope that individual(s) will fall in love with it and appreciate it’s beauty.

Cash - I plotzed! you're very funny...NYC Born and now NYC Transplant here in Nashville and I keep up with your channel for NYC stories and concepts of things...keep it coming and best to you and your journeys...
Another home run, Cashew. At least for me. I just really love that area of NYC. Friends of mine owned a B&B at 36 Riverside btwn 75th & 76th for 25 years - until the hotel lobby ran them all out. So 10 years ago they moved to Charleston and renovated a mansion and have one down there. But I have spent so much time in that neighborhood. It's fantastico.
Have not been able to watch Cash in two days and I have had 2 horrible days. Hoping today is better since I am watching Cash. Love the park. I’ll take it. Love the apartment. Don’t like the kitchen cabinets but I don’t cook anyway.
Love the built ins. When I think of classic New York apts this is what I picture.
Okay...now we are talking. This is an apartment that is beautiful has great space and a great area. The $1900 price makes great sense in comparison to some of the really small and not very attractive apartments that are more expensive. This could be beautiful when it is furnished right. I can see the fireplace filled with lit candles for ambiance.
This space is gorgeous and huge! The one drawback is the outdated kitchen. The kitchen is small enough to update at a low cost.
I was shocked that it wasn’t updated after seeing what they did with the bath. But if not for the kitchen, they could have charged more for rent.
@@woodcider Exactly!
Ohhhhh that Fruit market looks amazing, everything looks so bright and fresh 😍🙌🏻
"I don't see a whole lot to complain about." Wonderful Studio. I Love it!
Despite what the calendar says summer has begun. Cash now has his shorts out. You made another great video. Keep up the great work.
As someone who works shipping/receiving logistics for my job, I can say the dig on UPS is very welcome.
This is a really nice studio and the price is great, too. Wow! I thought the bathroom was going to be small, but it's really nice as well. I'm impressed.
Love the Lilacs for Violet! So sweet! 💜
Thank you Cash. Your videos bring this Canadian life!
i stayed in this neighborhood at the riverside hotel years ago. went to zabars and was amazed at how expensive all the food was.
