Mastery, efficiency, your are a great artist. Unfortunely, my english is too poor to describe my feelings for this gorgeous Mig. Thanks for this nice moment. Greetings from France.
Great video ! I stumbled upon it and loved it. I haven’t built a model in years.., but after watching your build it makes me want to get back into scale modelling
Excellent results!!!!! You made it look easy which we all know that is not the way it goes, Now I have to go out and replace my Fujimi Fishbeds with this one from Eduard.
Very good build, Metodi. Indeed, Eduard's kits are best; I have Mig-21 in 1/48th scale from Academy and it's nowhere as detailed as the 1/72nd from Eduard. And you did a fantastic job on it, congratulations! Gabriel

Great question... if I have to glue small parts that are already painted and uncomfortable to hold i will use CA glue for its fast cure time. for the larger assemblies I use cements. There are exceptions but in general thats my process
I was in Sofia some years back and if I had known that there was such a thriving scale model community there, especially for Soviet planes, I would have looked closer. Your videos are giving me great pointers on the IAF MiGs I have waiting to build.
Very Nice Build; I learn new things and I would like to know if you spray any clear coats after having spraying Xtreme Metal Coat before the AK washes? When I do this any coats of xtrem metal is wiped over. Thanks and give us more build like this :)

Waterslide. Well if you use water based acrylics maybe there is some risk but for other it's ok. Also you can give the Color a clear coat for protection.
Superb build! Thanks for sharing! May I ask which airbrush are you using and more importantly which nozzle size? I constantly have problems getting Mig paints (or any acrylics, for that matter) through my 0.2 mm nozzle on an H&S Evolution while your paint seems to flow normally. Thank you!
It’s funny how with a lot of these kits that there are tiny parts that require gluing in and I think, the makers could have just included that in the moulding!!
Great video! I Look forward to your videos. What did you stick to the end of the landing gear strut, early in the video? How did you attach it? I assume it was for painting more easily. Thanks!
If it is mentioned I have missed it, but what series of the Eduard kit is this? That is, is it the profipack or weekend or ......? I really liked what you did and thought the editing and pace of your video made for an enjoyable learning experience.

Thanks mate :)
It`s not just an art, is an awfully expensive art (worthy).
Best painted aluminium Mig I ever saw. Congrats.
Thanks Szymon!
Cold War aviation sure produced beautiful machines, and you certainly did justice to the entire aesthetic. So good!
Thanks mate, the beauty of the period IMO is in the diversity, so many different shapes
Best Mig 21 build i have seen so far xd
Thanks Markus!
You can be proud of your building talents, this is excellent! I learned a lot, thanks for the masterclass!
Glad you enjoyed it!
For some seconds, I thought it was a Soviet air force MiG... but damn, that's the most metal-looking plane model I've seen in UA-cam! Great work!
Thanks mate 👍
I'm very glad and very lucky to place this EXCELLENT model on the bench for the 37th Annual Modelling Contest of IPMS HELLAS today!!! 😊
I am happy to be there... at least with my models. Hope to be there in person next time 😁
Your showing me that you can model in 1/72 scale and still do it very well! Awesome!
Thanks mate 👍

Great job, well made video! Love the natural metal finish on this! Thanks for the video.
Thanks Jerry!

This is great and amazing detail for such a small scale model.
Congratulations

Really nice work with the paint on this Mig

Thanks Gabriel. Yes, fortunately there are manufacturers that evolve, unfortunately others go the other direction :(
What liquid did you use prior to attaching the yellow thin stripes to the canopy frame?
Decal setting solution, mr.mark setter in this case.
Brilliant work and a really nice presentation of the build and the final result!
Thanks mate!

What PSI you use for primer and what PSI you use for metallics?
Very nice, cheers from Uruguay.

thank you for your demonstrate, may i ask the color and size of your use micron pen use when paint detail for cockpit ?
Hi there, according to faber-castell it is 0.1mm but I think it is not that thin. The color is black.
@@MMScaleModels thank you

Apart from a few funny mistakes, nice build Metodi. :) I hope to finish mine in coming days.
Thanks, I am curious what have I missed?
MM Scale Models Google MiG-21 Gsh 23. You'll know. ;-)
BEAUTIFUL JOB

Very nice build. I have this in the stash. Keep up the brilliant work.

Hello!
What is the manufacturer of the Bulgarian decal set?
I tried to find it on the web but I wasn't succes.

Thanks, yes that's decal strips... I have a tutorial on that.
Beautiful aircraft awesome work my friend.
Thanks Paul 👍
amazing fighter and model

What is the brown tape on the canopy at 18:15?
That's painted decal 👍
Masterpiece from Eduard!!!
True :)

NICEI WOULD LOVE TO DO SCALEMODELS FROM CARS TO AIRPLANES
Cant recommend it enough, great hobby.
Beautiful build my friend. Ochin krasiva!
Thanks John. I am not Russian BTW :)
Just one silly question. Why do both ailerons go a little bit to the ground? Shouldn´t they go opposite sides? But nevertheless the model looks great!
I assume that when there is no pressure in the hydraulic system the control surfaces should drop. I guess this might not be true for other planes.
How many psi in your airbrush for ak Extreme polished aluminium?
between 0,8 and 1 bar
Outstanding! Thanks for the great video.
Thanks for watching
Great build!!!

I don't understand the step "1" at the top of page 3. Does this mean that the Egyptian cockpit is silver? Please help
I no longer have the instructions, besides my kit did not have Egyptian markings
@@MMScaleModels I held on to all my instruction sheets; now I find i answer to requests for them from folk who have charity shop purchases.
Hola, tuve mi primer Mig21 cuando tenía 10 años , a escala de un juego de modelos rusos.👍
Cool, which kit was it?
Brilliant build, love your video it was great.
Well done! Dan
Thanks Dan!
Great video! Nice to put a face with your channel😊 I think you deserve a lot more subs, so keep up the good work. 👏🏼👍🏻
Thanks mate, yes I also think it's better to show myself as a person instead of just a pair of hands 😋
Great build,,fantastic result.Did you applied a gloss varnish over the metal paint so you can apply the wash or you appply the wash straight on the paint?
Thanks Vasilis, I applied model master metalizer sealer after the polished aluminium and then after the paneling.
Thank you mate.keep up the good job
Thanks mate :)
before weathering , do you gloss coat the whole model ? because Ak extreme metal paint is enamel paint?
I am not sure that Ak's are enamels, smells like lacquers. I use model master sealer for metalizers.
MM Scale Models i have one of it. The polished aluminum and it react with AK panel line washes. I guess they are both enamel. But mine is very long drying time. I left it for 2 days but it still wet.. i dont know why.
The model master clear?
MM Scale Models no no. The AK extreme metal polished aluminum
Maybe you apply too thick coats, but it is quite delicate anyways.
Awesome work!!!! What is your paint on main body? That color is superb!!
Sry, I found it: AK 481 Polished Aluminum
I have a full tutorial on NMF if you are interested
@@MMScaleModelsthank you very much. I will search for it.
Very nice build. What you used on windscreen to replicate the brownish sealing and what liquid to set it?
Thanks. That's painted and cut decal paper. The liquid is mr.mark setter.
MM Scale Models thanks. Is your own produced decal , if so could tell us how. Or this is aftermarket.
It is just transparent decal paper from e-bay painted with airbrush.
MM Scale Models is it water slide decal or dry? I wonder why water does not spoil the paint.
Waterslide. Well if you use water based acrylics maybe there is some risk but for other it's ok. Also you can give the Color a clear coat for protection.
Very cool, love the mig 21:)
Thanks mate!

Dry.

What is "Black filter" "Blue filter" "Brown filter"? What brand? Thank you.
Hi there, thats simply a highly diluted paint that acts like a filter rather than paint.

What do you mean “Blue Filter” “Brown filter”. Is this a product you can buy ???
Heavily diluted paint mate. You can create all kinds of colors.
@@MMScaleModels so basically you’re spraying the color blue highly diluted?
@@artlopez1311 yes 👍
@@MMScaleModels are u using a gloss or matte paint filter ?
