They've been doing the acoustic encores for the last few shows leading up to Bonnaroo. Love seeing this. JP looks like he's enjoying the hell out of it.
i love the raw acoustics of musicians. it allows you to feel their emotion when they hit the skins, strings, ivories. they allow you to have a peek into what they are experiencing at that time.. It's epic. nothing connects you more than a live viewing. if all the band is in sync then the vibe within the and is true or just plain PROFESSIONAL GENUIS!!
LOVE this song since before it came out - they played it on the Transnational Speedway tour. Considering the fact that they've become so bluesy, I'm surprised that they don't play it still. Wish they did. LP version is awesome.
I saw em live 4 the 1st time in like '91 at this dive bar in Glen Burnie, MD. my date & I were 2 of maybe 20 people who showed up. Lol we just loved the show! They played their guts out 2 a nearly empty room. Great effort on their part. I respected them, right outta the gate.
clhouse2 They just know how to do it in the South! I've seen Clutch, well, so many times that my best guess is well over 35 shows. In fact of all the band's I like, I've seen them live the most. There is no more down home rolling groove like Clutch!
Amazing ad always! Clutch are amazing and will always be amazing! 2010 I saw them at the Norva! They did a set of Bakerton Group stuff, then a set of Clutch then they did a set of this new bluesy acoustic stuf! Awesome and amazing!
Woke up this morning, put on my Sunday shoes Don't ask me why, it's just the nature of my grooves I larged down the boulevard, came under attack But I rocked them senseless, 'cause honey it's tight like that, good God I hung a left down to Lemans' Avenue Stagger Lees everywhere, trying to bring me doom, oh no And that Old Scratch, he tried to purchase this soul That don't confront me, 'cause I'm never in the need of a payroll Heck, yeah Amen, do it all again Rock my soul in the bosom of Abraham Spit shine and a three piece suit Good Lord, I got to thank you 'cause you do it like you do Hallelujah, all the people in the back Hallelujah, it's tight like that Hallelujah, all the people up front Tight like that, rapture, rock Tight like that Hey honey, it's tight like that Honey, it's tight like that Hey Honey, it's tight like that And all you know-it-alls with politic views Ideals don't situate themselves in His groove So if you want to know, you just got to ask But if you don't lose that skin, you'll never be tight like that Watch me work now Amen, do it all again Rock my soul in the bosom of Abraham Spit shine and a three piece suit Good Lord, I got to thank you 'cause you do it like you do Hallelujah, all the people in the back Hallelujah, it's tight like that Hallelujah, all the people up front Tight like that, rapture, rock Tight like that Hey honey, it's tight like that Honey, it's tight like that Hey Honey, it's tight like that Don't try to sell me your New Age guru troubles 'Cause I'm already reeling doing that good time gospel shuffle And all your thumpings about your Armageddon Ain't no big deal, 'cause I already hang with Him Oh yeah, tight like that Hey honey, it's tight like that Honey, it's tight like that Honey, it's tight like that Can I get a witness for the rock of ages? For the rock of ages? Can I get a witness for the rock of ages? For the rock of ages?
I am so fucking addicted to this song it's unbelievable. Die hard Clutch fan for years and I'm more than pleased to see them produce music like this. Long Live Clutch !
Ty for this post man,,, Clutch fans should be going nuts over this rearrangement of tight like that acoustic set.. It just shows their evolution taking their sound to a different place other than loud amps blazzing and still pull it off Clutch style.
All 3 sets they played at bonnaroo were amazing. 3 is counting the bakerton group set where Neil said something about check out our side project clutch.
They did a very short acoustic only opening show YEARS ago. It was about 4 or 5 songs if I remember correctly. It was AMAZING. Then there's the Blast Tyrant reissue that has a bonus disc that's all acoustic. Definitely get it.
This was their first "full" acoustic set, but they played acoustic encores for all of the shows leading up to this set (on the current tour). I really, really want them to record all of these (and maybe a handful more) and put out an acoustic record. It would be totally awesome.
It's found on the greatest record ever - the Clutch s/t record. never heard an acoustic version though. Wish they were still playing this regularly in concert. Haven't heard it since 90's and I see them all the time.
@@michaelyuscavage3110 years ago they did "An evening with Clutch". 5 or 6 classic Clutch songs in acoustic. Then they had an intermission, followed by a full set. They came with it that night. Still the best concert I've ever seen. The house went nuts.....
@jokingguy I meant on your end dude. There are a bunch of videos out there of this set, but your sound quality is perfect. If you have more vids of this set PLEASE post them. Good work!
the first time they played this was in KY a month or so before bonnaroo, Niel said to the crowd we will be the test group for what they will be doing for bonnaroo
You know why this sounds awesome? Because it's Clutch, but also because they compose their songs on the scène and not in a studio!! Thats why they don't have to adapt their songs when they're performing live [sry 4 bad English]
@dedpoet777 Yeah dude, I know. We should have made it more clear that we are friends are were just messing around. Maybe those comments would still be there.
@MrYournamehere4202 I can clearly see he is playing an acoustic guitar. I was just stating it isn't a total acoustic set. I saw this set twice earlier this year and know this is how they do their acoustic set and like I said before it's Awesome =)
Imagine Clutch on MTV Unplugged or an Acoustic album release. I only need to hear/see it once. Then I could die happy.
Even when they reinvent their own songs the result always turns into pure gold. Clutch is the best band of all time and that's all there is to it.
Why is it that I just love everything Clutch does? Damn...some bands just mean it.
& they never sold out
They've been doing the acoustic encores for the last few shows leading up to Bonnaroo. Love seeing this. JP looks like he's enjoying the hell out of it.

I saw clutch in Columbus Ohio doing the space grass album it was glorious love these guys
One of the great bands.
So Good! This has to be the best band working in Rock and Roll today!
I was there. I knew what I was seeing, but being my first time and looking back, I feel like I missed the real appreciation of this. Most excellent!
its shocking how good this band are,off to see them in milan in three weeks
cannot wait.italian food and clutch, it doesnt get any better
My favorite Clutch song with a twist. Love it, and been loving this band since I first saw them in 1993 at the Black Cat in DC.

I feel like if anyone were to dislike this a solid gold fist would fly out of their computer screen and end their pitiful existance...
Those are the most beautiful words of truth. Rock on.

Thank you song of the past summer
This proves it! Wonderful sound work!
Ty for this post man,,, Clutch fans should be going nuts over this rearrangement of tight like that acoustic set.. It just shows their evolution taking their sound to a different place other than loud amps blazzing and still pull it off Clutch style.
That was amazing..
Simply one of the best arrangements ever... put this on an album already!!!!!!!!!!
Flippin' out at this! Thanks for posting it. You popped my Clutch acoustic cherry!
AWESOME!!!!!!
All 3 sets they played at bonnaroo were amazing.

Thanks for the kick ass video!!
Soundz f**kin' great, man!
Holy Shit! ......
Damn I would've killed to be at this show
One of my favorites
And big thanks to the cameraman for decent quality, too.
This tune is a classic on every level. They could do this song with a flute and bongos and still, it's a fuggin classic.
I do wish I've been there.
Godamn they need to do an acoustic album, fucking incredable.
They did a very short acoustic only opening show YEARS ago. It was about 4 or 5 songs if I remember correctly. It was AMAZING. Then there's the Blast Tyrant reissue that has a bonus disc that's all acoustic. Definitely get it.

All hail Clutch.
you can find the studio version of this on the blast tyrant special editon. its called tight like that (basket of eggs)
It's found on the greatest record ever - the Clutch s/t record. never heard an acoustic version though. Wish they were still playing this regularly in concert. Haven't heard it since 90's and I see them all the time.
You're both correct. Awesome tune, weather electric or acoustic

Drummer is rockin' a Wino shirt... So awesome.

I fell asleep listening to this song last night. I woke up a religious man... and I'd grown a beard

Neil Fallon is the fuckin' man.
LOve ME some LOOOOOOPPPPEEERRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GAWD IF I KNEW THEY WERE THERE I WOULD'VE TRIPPED WHILE WATCHING PURE ROCK FURY!!!! GODDAMMIT!!!!
True musicianship and groove. It's a shame the direction music is heading in is the opposite to this.
jean paul is gettin down with the funk!
Well, remember MTV Unplugged wasn't unplugged either. Just acoustic guitars plugged in :)
@dedpoet777 Yeah dude, I know. We should have made it more clear that we are friends are were just messing around. Maybe those comments would still be there.
sweet
Jam
@Actumen What if he's the drummer on the cd from Wino!!!!
@sweetphenom6642 it appears acoustic to me :) Tim Sult is Lead and he is playing an acoustic guitar
he is the drummer o the Wino release...
@MrYournamehere4202 I can clearly see he is playing an acoustic guitar. I was just stating it isn't a total acoustic set. I saw this set twice earlier this year and know this is how they do their acoustic set and like I said before it's Awesome =)
By accoustic they mean the alternative version of the song (the accoustic version)
Not fully acoustic, they're plugged in. Shit hot either way 😎
second best, after regulator. Clutch are awesome!!
I can hardly believe I'm saying this but I might like this version better than the album version.
Acustic Clutch is like diet Clutch!
Naah, a diet isn't as tasteful as acoustic clutch!
is that Ryan Dunn i see in the background at 8 xD
What a freggin awesome tune! Love the slide riffs man. Clutch is the tits!!!
drummer got the moves haha
Clutch is Supa Dupa "Tight Like that".. ;)

If this isn't acoustic, I am the pope.
That's a mean slide guitar

Tim Sult doesn't get enough love in this video. But this video is Clutch! I go to sleep dreaming of an MTV Clutch Unplugged set.
