Screw that I need some. Apparently just being a cat mom doesn't give you the mom sight. Although I do keep telling my cats I'm not their mom I'm their human. Much closer for cats. But alas their mom raised them on my bed & the one still acts like a tiny kitten when she wants canned food.

This is really sweet. I see this message reminding everyone that mothers have an important role to fill and they are able to be a great mom with how they perceive everything. My mom was a wonderful role model. With all the negativity and fear that filled my house for years she was the shining light my sisters and I held onto.
The message is so clear! We need both Mom’s and Dad’’s together to raise kids from both perspectives! Mom’s bring certain things to the equation and Dad’s bring a complimentary balance with their way of seeing the world! Loved this video, I am glad it ended up in my choices today!
Ok, so this was beautiful, for sure. But the last part, where the little girl goes through with the mom goggles and says "Ok this place, is like, a pigsty" blew my mind. Moms....sometimes we need to take OFF the mom goggles. The mess is not the important part. Our families don't always see the pigsty...they see the memories.

My husband does a great job with our girls. Better than me in my opinion but he's always telling me he needs my help and it's hard on him when I'm gone. Interesting thing though, when I'm there parenting with him around, he still has his own opinion in how I handle different situations with the kids. Pending how severe the disagreement, I'll shut down and let him take over. If I'm in disagreement with what he says, I'll give him a small signal of that disagreement then let him go. The silent "I told you so" (I try to avoid communicating to him) either annoys me (because it causes me problems) or brings me a smile because he learned something. I like it best when he's right and I learn something though.....as long as he's not rubbing the ITYS in my face. Nobody's perfect.
three norns so are you saying all stereotypes are true? Also the squeaky wheel gets the oil.
