      Screw that I need some. Apparently just being a cat mom doesn't give you the mom sight.
      Although I do keep telling my cats I'm not their mom I'm their human. Much closer for cats. But alas their mom raised them on my bed & the one still acts like a tiny kitten when she wants canned food.

      Yeah, once secular people realize Christians put out messages of love and family, serving, being graceful and compassionate...the deals off, right?

    • @Hooksleft-1
      @Hooksleft-1 5 років тому

      @@frijofrojsdeern9545 you miss the point. I do not consider humanity as basically good. That said, are Christians the only ones that do good? No. Acts in and of themselves are good or bad and committed by Christians, Atheists, Muslims, etc. My point was the comment(s) regarding (to the effect, not direct quote) 'it was good until I saw it was by Christians'. I've met douchebag Christians...for sure. I'm mature enough to admit Christians have hurt their own cause in many instances. I'd be lying if I claimed otherwise. Now that said...in the prison ministry, less than 5% of the population are people that go to church every week. Less than .01% are people that go to church every week, are in ministry, serving, etc...those that walk the walk but obviously not immune to acts of sin on the level of crimes.

    • @Hooksleft-1
      @Hooksleft-1 5 років тому +4

      @@frijofrojsdeern9545 I was not looking for God, I was an Atheist for 26 years. I didn't go to church, I considered Christianity stupid and illogical, could explain the Big Bang and evolution...no interest in God whatsoever as I considered religion a fairy tale. It simply happened. Cant explain it honestly. Now, I dont have enough faith to be an atheist...I also can not believe the Big Bang or evolution as I truly love math and science and therefore cant believe in something so mathematically impossible as those 2 things. Christianity has been far more than I ever thought and some things less but knowing what i know...i simply cant believe anything else as it is the most logical, rational and reasonable thing.

    My first wife died after 10 years of marriage leaving me with 3 small children. I did it alone for 3 years then found a wonderful woman with whom I'll celebrate 35 years of marriage soon. We had another boy and girl together; since the three don't really remember their mother, she became and remains MOM to all of them. We men can do it alone, as women can do it alone, but the KIDS need both a mom and a dad.

    So... all the negative comments. This isn't about dumbing down dads. I hate that. This is about lending light to the different perspectives a mom has versus a dad. It IS a generality, but it is a reality some DO face. For whom it doesn't apply, I am sure they will come up with other skits that you relate more to. I totally get this. My husband helps me, but we approach things VERY differently. Sometimes I DO wish there were "mommy glasses" to share with those who don't understand my mommy perspective. There are some women I know who would benefit from "mommy glasses" as well. Thanks for the skit. Added laughter to my day!

    • @alcoholandfun243
      @alcoholandfun243 4 роки тому

      Please, all we do is hear about mommy's perspective. On the news, in shows, in magazines.

    This is really sweet. I see this message reminding everyone that mothers have an important role to fill and they are able to be a great mom with how they perceive everything. My mom was a wonderful role model. With all the negativity and fear that filled my house for years she was the shining light my sisters and I held onto.

    The message is so clear! We need both Mom’s and Dad’’s together to raise kids from both perspectives! Mom’s bring certain things to the equation and Dad’s bring a complimentary balance with their way of seeing the world! Loved this video, I am glad it ended up in my choices today!

      My husband does a great job with our girls. Better than me in my opinion but he's always telling me he needs my help and it's hard on him when I'm gone. Interesting thing though, when I'm there parenting with him around, he still has his own opinion in how I handle different situations with the kids. Pending how severe the disagreement, I'll shut down and let him take over. If I'm in disagreement with what he says, I'll give him a small signal of that disagreement then let him go. The silent "I told you so" (I try to avoid communicating to him) either annoys me (because it causes me problems) or brings me a smile because he learned something.
      I like it best when he's right and I learn something though.....as long as he's not rubbing the ITYS in my face. Nobody's perfect.

    • @TheBenjaminBanks
      @TheBenjaminBanks 5 років тому +3

      three norns so are you saying all stereotypes are true? Also the squeaky wheel gets the oil. So basically what I’m saying is you have a few situations where some woman was issued at her man so she does nothing but bitch and complain so that what everyone remembers. If no one is making a huge deal about how good fathers are then no one will think about it they only remember the loudest person that complains.

      Some kids just need a more stern form of correction. Easy to do when you glare at their inappropriate behavior. Never had a mom take me head on for that. Either I wasn't caught or the ones confronting me are passive aggressive.
      Just two separate occassions I confronted a stranger's kid. 1. High Pitched Screaming kid's mother told me the kid is 3 and I just need to deal with it (my two year old was already trained not to scream). No further action taken from either party. 2. Kid next to me tapping arm rest then moving to kicking a seat during a school music concert. When it was too much. I whispered to kid to please stop. Kid's mom told kid I was rude, switched seats then proceeded to tap on her phone and do lots of little things to supposedly annoy me without annoying others. So I copycatted her and laughed inside. With mom next to me, I was still able to enjoy the show. After concert, mom loudly complained to her family about me as a way of talking to me. I told my eldest daughter about how quiet it was when I didn't have to listen to feet kicking the seat next to me. Eventually she cursed at me (on edge of cursing me out but not quite....she still kept control of her actions and volume) while I told her I loved her colorful language choice in front of 5-10 year olds. It was fun. When 12 yo returned to our seats to retrieve something she forgot, the mother glared at her while DD smiled back and returned. Some words were exchanged but nothing too bad. Haven't seen the mother since.

      @@ChristmasCarolyn YES! I love how you mentioned that! My daughter tells me I should write the story on Reddit. I'm thinking of doing so. I'm always looking for people like that (scamming scammers who call me - 5 mins is my record so far) but either I'm too ignorant/soft to call other encounters as entitled people, annoy people too much to actually attract them, diffuse the situation too quickly, OR I'm just plain not their target for some reason (looking at random strangers in the eye and smiling may help repel them....it's my habit when studying people and social behaviors in the least creepy and least invasive way possible.)

    Great funny video, and I love the message at the end of how much we need moms and wife’s. But truthfully we need each other. I love my wife and I tell her all the time how important she is to our family but she would say the same about me. I know when either of us leave for a week or weekend we definitely miss having the other parent especially with three kids.

    No matter how good your parenting is, shit always goes sideways 5 mins before your spouse comes home.

    Man, there are a lot of negative comments from people who didn't watch to the end and realize that it's a MOTHER'S DAY video. The point is to show how much mother's do for the smoothness of the family. Sometimes the dads have it more together, yes, but this kind of family makes a better skit and amplifies the awesomeness of moms.
