This stuff is amazing, it's amazing how much companies like JD, Topcon and Trimble will charge you for a service that the government will supply for free, obviously the quality, accuracy, up time, reliability and ease of use aren't there but as a proof of concept it's very exciting to see how this will change the future of precision ag among other things. I really appreciate you sharing this information.
No worries glad i can help. Yeah i think the big companies have dropped their prices a bit in light of the competition. Open source software is great. No doubt things will get easier.
Hey mate, I’ve built the same system on a Toyota in NSW, interested in having a chat with you about the NTRIP side of things, and possibly helping your build also, let me know if you’re interested.
Hey, well, this video is nearly the extent of my knowledge on the subject, but if you have a specific question feel free to ask. We have had autosteer working on the tractor however we are currently busy making hay and getting ready for harvest so the project has stalled for now. Thanks for the offer ill see how we go when i can look at this again
@@RonanRTW No worries mate, cheers for the reply, I've got it sorted with RTK coming from a source 89NM away and getting really good results. my issue was simply not having the rtf settings on in u-centre, which thanks to your video i jumped in and added those settings and any we go!! cheers!!!
I would guess any of them should... Since bluetooth is a standard thing and the gps data is sent as a standardized "message". Think they're called NMEA messages. Any older touchscreen pc should run agopengps tho. I got these Panasonic fz-g1 tablets off ebay for $800. Although that's expensive they are quite rugged with a very bright screen
Thanks @UCaubNq4Y7IVyKiyjqrGL1fg nice video thanks. Looking at the ardusimple website I am a little confused about which kit you are using. Would you be able to provide some more info for us please. Thanks
