John Paul II is my pope! I grew up with him being in my life from the time I was a late teenager in ‘78 to my mid my 40’s in ‘05. Every time I see him, whether it be in a picture or a video, I become emotional and feel closer to God. RIP Your Holiness!
You and must be about the same age. JP2 was a wonderful man, and as a polish american, I was never more proud than when this video was taken. St.JP2 and the greatest prez EVER! WE WRERE SOOOOOO LUCKY TO GROW UP WITH TWO GIANTS!
I voted for the 1st time in my life, for President Reagan in his 1st term. I was 18 years old. Of course I also voted for him in his 2nd term. I didn't realize then that I was a conservative. I was just to naively idealistic at the time. He is one of two presidents that I am still proud that I voted for. The other is Donald J. Trump. Four decades and only two presidents that I feel were worthy to lead. And both of them from unlikely backgrounds. Many years later, when I was 45 years old, after years of ignoring God, the Holy Spirit finally got my attention and lead me to the Catholic Church. I at one point in my life had declared I would never be Catholic! The Lord God had other plans and His plans, in His time, always come to pass. I have since learned a bit about Pope John Paul 2, especially his theology of the body. I regret that while he was on this earth I was oblivious to his brilliance and humble service to God and to all of humanity. This video shows, in my humble opinion, the two greatest human world leaders of my adult life together on one stage. It seems to me more than ever that we desperately need someone to fill their shoes.
Amazing similarities between these two men. Both came from humble origins to rise to the very top of their fields. Both were actors! Both survived assassination attempts and both worked diligently to bring peace to the world. Sadly, both also suffered from long illnesses before their passing -- Pope John Paul with parkinson's disease and Pres. Reagan with alzheimer's.

Ronnie was also a snitch when he was an actor in Hollywood. AND when he became a president of the actors guild (probably wrong title lol)in Hollywood, he made sure that the actors and workers didnt get a single raise all the time he was the boss. Great documentary about Ronnie. How the mafia bought a film studio (Universal) and got Ronnie into office. All in all a good president. Americans did not want Carterism. Same here he was my Pope for sure
I was there, then a high school senior. Definitely one of the highlights of my life! Then got to vote for Reagan for his 2nd term.

“For which reason, conventions, meetings and addresses are frequently arranged by these persons, at which a large number of listeners are present, and at which all without distinction are invited to join in the discussion, both infidels of every kind and Christians, even those who have unhappily fallen away from Christ or who with obstinacy and pertinacity deny His divine nature and mission. Certainly such attempts can nowise be approved by Catholics, founded as they are on that false opinion which considers all religions to be more or less good and praiseworthy since they all in different ways manifest and signify that sense which is inborn in us all and by which we are led to the obedient acknowledgement of His rule. Not only are those who hold this opinion in error and deceived, but also in distorting the idea of true religion, they reject it and little by little, turn aside to naturalism and atheism, as it is called; from which it clearly follows that one who supports those who hold these theories and attempts to realize them, is altogether abandoning the divinely revealed religion.”

Plunged in this fire, we saw the demons and souls of the damned. The latter were like transparent burning embers, all blackened and burnished bronze. Having human forms, there were floating about in that conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames that were issued within themselves, together with great clouds of smoke. Now they fell back on every side like sparks in huge fires without weight or equilibrium amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fright. The demons were distinguished by the souls of the damned by their terrifying and repellant likeness to frightful, unknown animals, black and transparent like burning coals.”

The two gentlemen were great men of this age. Saint Pope John Paul II I miss you and I know you are praying for me and my family from heaven above. At present time I need your powerful intercession for my family especially my children and I am sure you will know my needs and one day I will testify to the world. A great Saint of this age. God bless the people of U.S. and the people of Poland.

John Paul II arranged for all of the religious leaders (including witch doctors) to meet in Assisi on Oct. 27, 1986. The Hindu prayer said: “Peace be on all gods.” The Animist leader prayed to the “Great Thumb.”

By means of this theory, those crafty men remove all distinction between virtue and vice, truth and error, honorable and vile action.
