- Wanted a new water vac besides my rainbows, so I decided on this. Well it's been the biggest let down. It says to run the cleaner on the clean section of the dial, on that setting it has the weakest suction of any vac I've owned. Turning it up to the wet section or max doesn't make it better just louder, not typical of most German machines. I don't like how the hose is connected to the basin like old rainbows, it's kind of messy to clean up the top unit has a lot of water that's clings to it so it can make your floors wet. The basin collects more pet hair on the edges which you can't swish out like my rainbow that when I dump everything is out.
The power head is nice though, I like how low it is def the lowest in my collection. It has an interesting brush pattern and is very light to use, it also has a good steering angle making it maneuverable.
All in all it's made well with nice high quality attachments and very soft brushes, but the low suction/airflow and awkward clean up and no cord clip make me regret this purchase 100%.
Ive Had my Pro aqua since 1999 and I love it .The servicing is amazing and its free, when you buy it from an authorized distributor. i think your a competitor and your selling a cheaper model .
I need to get my Pro Aqua repaired. I'm told it needs a new circuit board. where do I find someone to repair my machine...I'm lost without it!

I just bought one very very lightly used for my grandparents for 50$ across town. Their rainbow d2 finally kicked it. And they are old and don't know the new models to buy out there. So I decided to just do it for them. They are on a budget anyway
forgot to mention the cord in in side the hose catching hairs and derbris , tried one and ended hating it. tried to blow out the hose with my kirby multiple times for over 10 minutes even used a hoe handle .
and the power head doesnt agitate much , and the bearing are going out in the motor and brush berings. its not even old!
I am impressed with this vacuum water system. I have two cats and a long haired dog and this machine has made the air so much cleaner in my house. The dust and pet hair had been a problem but not anymore. I also have pollen allergies and they have cleared up. My house is tile floors with oriental rugs and the machine shuts down if a corner of the rugs gets sucked up into the head. Nice. I have a central vacuum system which doesn't work very well on some of the shorter napped carpets but this Pro Aqua works much better. I also own an Oreck XL and like this canister better as the Oreck doesn't have attachments for different tools. Didn't like the high price but a Kirby is more expensive and won't clean the air as this machine does and it's lighter in weight. I'm not sorry I made this purchase.
What do you do with the bad smell? The hose for the PowerBoost just smells horribly.
It costs 3500usd. Not cheap, a price of european purses. But, your whole family will enjoyed it.
Im a new owner of this piece, and I disgusted seeing whats been sucked with this machine. And oh those big head with the light on I just use it for beddings. Work like magic!

You should return if you can and get a Sirena! What do you think about those?
They look just ok in my opinion. dont like the fatc that there is no direct connect at the PN wand.

That won't be happening, the sirens is not as convenient as the new rainbow and its separator is awful at separating dust. Mark40511 has one and can attest to the fact that it is awful. I've used one in person so I can attest to this

Do you have a bad smell coming from the PowerBoost Hose? I contacted the company and they have no solution but I can’t wash the hose because of the electricals. Do you guys have that?
You must’ve sucked up something wet inadvertently at some point, just run some soapy water through it and the run clean water, bathtubs are easy, then hook it up to the blower function of the vacuum and let it run for 5 minutes. Obviously don’t plug the electrical part of the hose in then hang it up to dry for 24 hours
Abcrokid the hose for the PowerBoost has a thin tube running inside. Are those electricals? What about the endings? Should they get wet? One side is the handle other side is the plug.
@@cynthiatzitzis3984 yes it’s ok if they get wet, just plug the hose into the blower end for 5 minutes then hang the hose up to dry for 24 hours

This is clearly a cheap Rainbow vacuum knock off !
Actually the other way around Rainbow is the knock off. This German made machine has been around a long time and when you look at the Rainbow it copied the Pro-Aqua. We have had ours for 10 years and it still amazes me on the stuff it pulls out of the carpet. Rainbow is a good machine too but I would buy another Pro-Aqua before a Rainbow.
John Gabriel the rainbow has been around since 1936. The pro Aqua is a cheap knock off of the rainbow

I worked for pro aqua for awhile and they were very familiar with their competitors and Rainbow especially. All the parts and the vacuum itself are better overall quality. The engine itself is twice the power of the rainbow and the parts are way better designed.
