If she does not return it in the condition you sent it in, you should contact Poshmark and let them know. I agree with you; you cannot buy something, alter it, then send it back because the alteration is not the way you wish it was.... ugh. Sorry you are going through this, but thank you for having such a positive outlook on it!

Woo great sales. Goodwills in Charlotte NC ok depending which ones you got to. The Estate sales are much more expensive😢. No returns on an altered piece she could have messed it up removing the other piece.
That return sucked, but I just resold it for a higher price and the buyer loved it. Sometimes it all works out. 😊
The Goodwills in Arizona go thru the donations in the back and list all the High End items on their online store or they will put it out on the floor and mark it up to online resale prices or higher. Occasionally they miss something but it’s not often. Even the Estate Sake Company’s mark things High. That’s why I source retail arbitrage, Garage sales and Buy Sale Trade store sales. I still shop at GW once a week and find a few items they missed. In AZ you can sign up for a monthly 20% off coupon if you spend at least $20. It’s good all month as many times as you want to use it. Tuesday is Senior day 25% off. They also have 50% off certain color tag days. So happy to see you selling your jewelry haul. Thanks for sharing💓
great to see AZ reseller! what do u think about location of GW shop? I find some "outside" not central stores are much better than central, more quality items plus some stores are not crazy in pricing, I really think often it depends on manegers...
@@Nataliya0907 I’m in Gilbert. I don’t go to Phoenix. I have 4 GW stores within a few miles that I like to shop at. I mainly source shoes at GW. Prices vary. For clothing I look for the 50% off color and always the new racks. I found NWT Judy Blue flared jeans. Paid $8 with 20% off coupon. Sold in 2 days on Poshmark for $70😁
It definitely seemed like they picked out all the good stuff at the AZ goodwills I went to. I’m glad you are still able to find inventory through other sources. 😘

Amy, eBay can seem intimidating, but I don’t accept returns (and luckily never had a not as described return which is allowed per EBay). I have never lost $ on shipping, but I only sell things I can be pretty sure on postage, but I’m in the middle of the US so don’t ship coast to coast. However, if you can ship items in a padded flat rate envelope (most shoes, clothing even belts fit), the rate I pay is $8.99 from an eBay label so I pass that discount on to buyers. Retail is about $10.60 I believe. Most jeans can actually ship in flat rate envelope for $7.99. Just reinforce with tape. Never had a problem. Your posh return is pretty shady. Shouldn’t be allowed.

True, agree that balance and quality of life are more important than any amount of money. Wish my hubby could also enjoy rhose values, his health is going down the drain.😢

Thanks for the video. Like you I'm hesitant to take on another platform. To be honest, Ebay scares me. I agree with you about the recently opened case for a return. Perhaps you coiuld take a % from the sale, based on her altering the "necklace".

Hi Amy. I am also not too happy with Posh lately. I sold an olive green top, clearly showing it is olive green. This lady open a case up on me saying it was gray. It definitely was not gray. Posh approved it. I was a bit upset over this. Posh said it was the color. I am starting to believe that posh is starting to side with the customers like eBay always does. I think posh is changing. I don’t believe the lady should had been able to return your item especially if she altered it. Can you state that the item was not returned in the condition you sent it in?
Hi! It does seem that Posh is getting more lax with letting buyers return items. The buyer for my necklace did end up returning it in the condition I sent it. The setting was like a tension setting so you can put the coin back into it. I am not thrilled that it was returned, but hopefully I can sell it for more this time.
I know this question were for Amy, but as a Posh reseller for many years, when buyers ask me for a more detailed description I never let them corner me because I know that’s going to put me in the position for them to open a case. if you really don’t know the specifics of what they’re asking, you answer in a way that allows them to make the choice to buy it whether it is or may not be,

I absolutely don’t think you should take back the coin necklace because I imagine that the coin was damaged because of being made into a necklace. But I also agree with your reasoning for taking it back. It also shows that you are the better person.
How would you even know it’s the original coin or maybe sending a different coin? Poshmark should not allow that....the item has been damaged by taking the coin out..
I thought she had damaged it, but I got it back in the mail and it’s just fine. I relisted it and hopefully it will sell for even more this time. 😊

It looks like accepting the return, didn’t make much difference, my sales still seem to have been affected. I think Posh would have approved the return anyways. Either way, it’s a learning experience and hopefully I sell the necklace for more next time. 💰

I personally love selling on eBay. I do Poshmark as well but Poshmark is more work for less return for me, anyways. I'm going to work on posting better, more profitable items on each platform. I'm loving your videos, they never get boring because the things you sell are unique!

For flaws, I try to be as transparent as possible but also use more desirable language. Something like- “nice vintage condition with one missing stone, not really noticeable”
Try to be as honest as possible though, you don’t want buyers to think an item is better then it is. Do you know what I mean?
The buyer took apart and damaged the item, they should not be able to return.

Very upsetting the buyer removed coin from pendant, hope they didnt damage it. This is the first what sold video, you didnt sell a belt.
She did sell belts starting around 27:10.
I was very upset. I decided to accept the return because I thought Posh would approve it anyways. I got the necklace back and it is just as I sent it, so I should be able to resell it.
My belt sales have slowed down for sure, probably because I haven’t been listing new ones. I’ve got a pile waiting to be listed so I’m sure I’ll be selling tons again soon. 😘
