Underdog puts a ridiculous premium on WR. Unless your redraft leagues start 4 WR. There’s an absurd value at RB. Too many people don’t understand this.

Hey brotha! I play ESPN fantasy football everyday year so I do home drafts all the time with friends, what I wanted to ask is I wanted to do best ball this first time! Wondering should I do a best ball draft first before the ESPN draft or vise versa. To optimize to get a great team please let me know
Best ball drafts are a good place to practice and get to know ADPs but they also might be VERY different from a home league. So honestly might not matter which order.
Some of my most drafted players zeke ford and dak/hurts insane value imo

Roschon, Kyler, Shaeed, Connor, Goff, Kirk, Elliot, Palmer are my top picks so far but weirdly enough I've picked in the 3rd spot like 30-40 percent of my drafts so far, lol!
My highest share %
QB: Will Levis (28%) - On paper, solid offense + rushing upside
RB: Rico Dowdle (42%) - J.A.G but should see opportunity with Zeke as his only comp in what should be a top 10 offense
WR: JSN (42%): Showed elite flashes at the NFL level, league winning upside if he overtakes lockett as the #2
TE: TJ Hockenson (38%) - Pairing with a lot of Ferguson or two other later round guys, even if he comes back middle of the season, has league winning upside
HM: Josh Downs (38%) - proven slot WR at NFL level, AR should improve this offense
Jake Ferguson (33%) - Volume + showed elite flashes last season
Pacheco (28%) - disrespectful @RB 12 prices

yeah the thielen pick has been so easy. I slurp that one up every time late rounds. 100 catches is 100 catches. there are WRs that play their whole career and never grab 100 in a season.
You seen the contract situation with Jones? I was in on him big time for the reasons you outlined, but I’m concerned that if the giants suck (which seems very likely) they pull the cord.
However, I guess there’s a scenario where they just use him as a bridge while they get some talent for the next dude they draft.

The problem with drafting old Adam Thielen in 2024 is UDFA Jalen Coker who is the best rookie WR in Carolina and should be the 2 behind Johnson

I have an irresponsible amount of last round kenny gainwell. After seeing them roll him out as the week 1 starter with swift and penny on the roster last year the team just has an irrational love for the guy clearly so if something happens to saquon hes gonna step in and be a workhorse

These fantasy guru are so desperate for views. We all know fantasy is irrelevant until summer camp and preseason week 3. A lot of these players are going to rise and fall so theres no point in hoping to get certain of players until week 3.
I don’t know where you’re getting your numbers from but ESPN has Pacheco’s ADP in the late first round. Pacheco isn’t going to be a steal thats for sure.

1 best-ball drafts are completely different than your home leagues. So if you are In a league on espn/ yahoo. The ADPs are not going to match. And he tells you through this whole video this is going off of underdog. And two this is not about being desperate for views, talking adp of players for a place like underdog right now this far out from the season is because this is the smartest and best time to draft players. This is usually the time a person that wins the 1.5 million dollar best ball, start drafting. Being that you get those player combinations now that are going to be impossible to get win the pre season does kick off, and everyone knows what players are balling out and which aren't. I placed in the top 1% in the bstball mainia last year going against 667 thousand people I got 323. And another tournament called the Dalmatian which had 3300 people, I placed 7th. Both tournament's my teams were drafted around this time. So anyways just do some research first to understand things before you just default to hating lol
Diontae Johnson will be taking Thielen’s role, he’s not gonna be fantasy viable this year.
Diontae, despite his slot build actually plays majority outside while Thielen played the slot last year. Diontae doesn't effect Thielen. The other WRs may.
@@cautiousklay gotta do more research on our head coaches system, all wide receivers have to move around. And yes Diontae plays outside but Thielen was force fed targets last year in a pass heavy offense. We are going to be run heavy and Diontae will be the first read on most passing plays. We’re also gonna use Legette on many ways. Thielen will see a DRASTIC reduction in his targets compared to last year.
@@DaChamps15 It's cool that they want to run the ball a lot but realistically they will be playing from behind quite a bit.
I do think it's possible Diontae will be the first read though it depends on the improvement of the OL because if Bryce still doesn't have a lot of time he will still be throwing to the slot and I don't think Legette will just push Thielen out of the slot right away if at all, so Thielen could end up being the first read again.
I think we both agree that Thielen will see less targets because of the change in offense but my argument is mainly that Thielen even if the #2 (while healthy) could easily see enough opportunity to remain fantasy relevant because
1. I believe in Bryce and think OL improvement will allow this and
2. I don't see Legette as demanding a lot of volume, just a useful gadget & red zone presence.
We can agree to disagree on Legette if you like.
@@cautiousklay have you listened to what the coaching staff is saying/followed OTA’s? I’m basing what I’m saying off of what I’ve seen. This offense will be drastically different from last year. Thielen will not be fantasy viable at all, he’s going to be a player you start as a last resort option. Sure he might be decent early on but he’s not going to sniff last years stats.

I agree the offense will look nothing like last year but based off the strength of the defense I expect Carolina to have to pass a lot this year regardless of what they want to do. I believe in Bryce if the OL is improved as it seems, so I believe two WRs in this offense can be fantasy relevant but i guess that depends on what kind of league you're playing in.

NOT comparing the players just the stat lines.
I think this year Thielen can easily (if healthy) put up 70 REC 800 YDS 4 TDs and be a solid flex in 12TM leagues.
I think Diontae will be better for fantasy and i think Legette will have something like 30-50 REC 400-600 YDS & 2-6 TDS
