- Working on a Trane CVHF centrifugal chiller pulling an vacuum and charging. We had some interesting issues with a plugged valve and heavy moisture load. These issues caused a journey to get the vacuum right.

Glad to be a part of the APS team....tons of work...lots of challenging jobs....awesome coworkers.....my 1 year living in TX has been awesome and I'm throughly happy to live and work here
Very well done video! I'm slowly getting my hands on chillers and unfortunately the information available is slow to come by but you do a great job explaining what and why your doing something a certain way. 👍👍
I like this format!! I think you should stick with it if you like it!
the calm, smooth, Holden series , , ,
LMAO!!
Great video, very concise and dense. I also appreciate seeing your thought process on your regular uploads, especially during service calls. I would say both formats have distinct advantages and I will continue to support.
As a resi service tech recently turned apprentice OEM chiller mechanic - I appreciate the quality content. Much love from Canada
I always strive for a weekend (3 day) evacuation and a micron reading of 300 or under, preferably under. If you under 300 microns, the machine is tight and you shouldn't have any issues with leaks. I've used the FeildPiece recovery unit for push/pull quite often. Gotta use what's in the truck. You can push lots of liquid with those little machines. It's the vapor charging that slows you down, not enough horsepower in those recovery units.
Good video.
I have been using a 1/2" site glass and 1/2" hand valve when charging and recovering.
Makes it known when the liquid is moving. Also makes recovery easier. Less purging of lines
I liked the format. What I see is that it skips a lot of information found in the field. I mean what happens in the job side while repairing and creating at the same time. The title was that the chiller took a lot and I expecting a little bit more of the problems found. I also appreciate what you do on-site= working+troubleshooting+filming.
Great feedback. I agree this doesn't have some great details, more of the story. I have some other projects I'm shooting more intentionally to have better footage to show you whats happening. I decided to try this format at the end of shooting this project. So technically the majority of the beginning footage was shot with my typical format in mind.
This is better than having to shout over machines
Great video, I've never seen a refrigerant cylinder like that.
Love the content. Hope to someday get to work on the big stuff. Super Interesting!
keep posting these videos very informative
Of course im interested
I like this style commentary better
I think the video was cleaned up , less filler and more meat. Good job.
I love ❤️ it.
This will serve as a life learning.
I almost thought you had hired a narrator lmao. Didn't recognize your voice at first without you shouting over the background noise.
A whole new me! 😂😂
Great video tech
Very nice
Great video mate 👍
I've tried push pull but it didn't work for whatever reason , still kinda scratching my head tryna find out what i did wrong ...
Pressure is everything my friend… check pressures everywhere and make sure you know exactly what components do what they are supposed to do. Any slight f#%k up will ruin a whole push/pull. Always open the right valves and in order. Everyones setup is different you will find one that works for you my man!! Practice is everything
It's definitely much easier to hear you talking this way 😛.
Dope video
Now thats a vaccum!!!
Either view, your vids are dope.
I noticed that you are using your cell phone, what Thermal app are you using?
Is the thermal camera a FLIR?
You could have removed the valve packing nut and unscrewed the valve stem right out of the valve body.
👍
Whats a purge unit?
Sir can I work with your team
