It's wild how dirty some people let their cars get. I hardly ever cleaned the first car I had, but since then I've always wanted to keep it looking nice. It's easy if you're the only person driving it I guess, and you probably give up after a certain point once you have kids lol.
Greeting from US, it’s kinda surprising to see a First Gen Mazda 3 with pedals shifter? We don’t had those on the state 😲. Maybe someday you can do a review on Mazdaspeed 3 ? ( Another cool Mazda besides RX8/7)
I really love these cars, the only thing I really every dislike is the wind noise but radio can drown that out easily But for how cheap they are and how easy they are to work on they are quite great Especially when you learn they left a LOT of wiring for upper models in there, you didn’t get the cruise or volume control on the steering wheel?? You can add it, the connector is there it just plugs in
I've had an 2007 Axela for about 10 years now... currently sitting on 147k and apart from the usual tyres/brakes/battery + servicing, it's been flawless... had to replace the bulb in the high stop light and polish the headlights for the last WOF though... bummer haha.
I have a question for you I'm planning on buying a cu2 accord but people are saying it's harder to source parts for that type of accord compared to the regular version and its more expensive, is that true, i thought it would be the same parts with similar prices.
Good luck my man, treat it like a normal drive and don't over think it, drive like you would, if you make a mistake don't think about it and just keep going, otherwise you'll make more mistakes. Best of luck let us know how it goes.
I not long ago purchased one of these, same spec but a year or two older, so no steering wheel shift buttons. Second car to get me from A to B. Gutless but seems to handle the corners ok. One thing that is bugging me is a bit of shaking when idling at traffic lights etc. It runs ok at a constant speed/accelerating. I got a new air filter and cleaned out the throttle body but to no avail. Any idea on what it could be from you or your subscribers would be appreciated. I run it on 95. Cheers
Sounds like a slight vacuum leak. Got two cars that have that problem at the moment. Take it to a mechanic and get them to smoke test it and where it comes out is where it’ll be leaking from
They’re ok?? I think they’re very ugly though, and the horrible Japanese only screen in the wrong language would drive me nuts. In general I’m not a fan of any imported cars. Prefer NZ new
Hey man, love the videos! I have a question regarding a 2015 skoda vrs estate I recently purchased, and since you own a vrs yourself I thought you might've come accross the following issue. I've noticed a sloshing sound from all 4 doors either when driving or opening/closing them, and after further investigation I believe that the window seals are letting water past the windows into the door when it rains. I've had a look at the bottom of the door and there do seem to be some rubbers which I cleaned, however I didn't find any dedicated drainage holes. After the cleaning the sloshing continued, aswell as a puddle of water is left on the frame after opening the doors. I do beleive that it's a euro model, however i'm not sure on how to check. My English isn't great so I hope you understand what i'm trying to get accross. Hope you can find this comment, in which case have a great evening - can't wait for the next video :)
The collection of water in the doors is worrying me because I'm afraid it will begin to rust away, aswell as i've noticed a watery/fungus smell which isn't awesome as you can imagine. "and most importly it's added weight ofcourse)))"
Ahh yeah I’ve noticed mine does that too, doesn’t make a sloshing sound, just when I open the door after washing the car a little bit of water spills out that’s clearly been collecting in the door seal. I wouldn’t worry too much about it…
Was this inner or outer CV boot? I thought it not a wof fail item. I concer with your thoughts on Mazda i got a verisa with 295km still runs great although the ford transmission sometime shock shifts
Most axelas are the 1500cc ones, so I don't think he would be anywhere nearly impressed with them as this 2000cc version. As a dealer ive sold hundreds of these. The only thing I find apart from rust issues, is the top right engine mount needs replacing often. Great cars overall, but pretty dull. This one is the spec you want to get.
😄hope u showered after cleaning that car! but youre right i dont know how people let their cars get into that state one friend filled my bin with rubbish from his car
I'm curious why we never see you find cars from Manheim? I've never actually bought a car from that site, but they seem to move a good quantity of cars!
@@RICHYSUNCLE it was a filthy cheap car of course its gonna get less attention than an ISF along with some funny moments. I think this guy knows how to take care of a car considering what and how many he has owned.

Axelas are such girl cars, they are round a bubbly even the turbo Mazda Speed 3 again looks like a chick car! I see guys driving Mazda Speeds thinking they are cool as and it just looks silly.
The later generations (3 and 4) look much better in my opinion, and they definitely aren't "girl cars". Most models aren't particularly fast but they're fun to drive in, you should try one sometime.
Hahah well, I guess it’s not necessarily a female thing, it’s more a “I see cars as purely a means of transportation” thing. Which could apply to anyone. On my insta I cleaned a gross accord that was owned by a dude. Honestly was almost as bad as this
Mazda thankfully stayed away from CVT's unlike the rest of the pack.
Except for the post September 2009 1.5 Axela. The only model I know of that Mazda used a CVT.
The demio amd possibly the mazda 2 did@@barron204
@@barron204Ffs Mazda.

I was thinking the same thing, a box of nitrile gloves would be money well spent
I washed my hands afterwards
Great content! the humour is on point mate
Thanks haha

Thanks man!
You can Use a heat gun to pop out those typs of dents in the rear bumper. It works suprisingly well.
Yeah problem is the paint was all chipped and ruined anyway so would still have to replace it
What a mess! Great work fixing it up. Axelas are consistently among the worst driven cars here in New Plymouth.
HAHAHHAHA ofc they are
The opening description of the car - brilliant! Interior industrial level clean 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
