- Hi guys! This is my 4th episode of Wreck This Journal by Kerri Smith. In this video, I completed the following pages: Climb Up High and Drop the Journal, Write One Word Over and Over, and Stand Here.
Wreck This Journal is a prompt journal written by Kerri Smith that includes creative art and drawing prompts. It is similar to other prompt books like Create This Book by Moriah Elizabeth and This is Not a Book because it helps you get creative and come up with ideas to color or paint.
In this episode, I used my Caliart Art Markers, which are a cheaper version of alcohol markers like Copic Markers or Ohuhu Markers. I also used a new 132 pack of Prismacolor premier colored pencils as well as my Micron fineliner pens.

About me:
Hi, my name is Marissa (AKA Bellamena)! Making videos about art is my favorite thing to do. I'm not a professional artist or anything (I'm actually a Computer Scientist 🤓) , but I have a lot of fun trying to make stuff look cute. I recently wrote a book called Draw Your Journal that is available on Amazon. I get so excited every time I upload a new video to UA-cam, and I'm so grateful that I get to make videos and share them with them you.

Same! I press soooo hard when I use pencil crayons! And when I go to restaurants literally I pick the crayon up use them once and they break lol 😂

Very dangerous since coordination rarely strikes here!! 🤣 Your shoes were a great plan! 👍 I don't know if I would be brave enough to paint the bottom of shoes and press them on to the page or not??

I missed it again! I had rlly no choice though ... I was in Colorado so sorry for the late response I was in a vacation in Colorado :) ok imma watch it now :)
Edit* omg I loved them all soo much 🥰 so pretty!! #Lovedthem :D also love your nails 💅 I recommend ohuhu markers I had no regrets after getting the normal 48 set, the pastel set and the skin tone 36 set :) what I do with wtj is I follow the prompt like I will step in paint and jump up and down but do it creatively :) my plan is to paint rainbow watercolor than step in black paint with flip flops and jump/step carefully :) 7:00 the first page was my fav :)

I love listening to you. Your remind me so much of my granddaughter. Both her and I are very into the WTJ’s we have the very first one that came out and also the WTJ in color. My question is this. I noticed you have the red one and I saw another video where someone had the silver version. Do either one of these versions have different prompts then brown one? It seems that they are all the same just different colors. I would love to buy my granddaughter and I the other versions but it’s senseless if they are all the same prompts inside. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi Dawn! I'm so happy to hear that you like the video and that I remind you of your granddaughter. It sounds like the two of you have a lot of fun completing Wreck This Journal together. From what I know, the pages in the different versions of Wreck This Journal are virtually the same. I think the silver version is considered an extended version and has some more prompts at the end of the book. The author does have other books that are quite similar to Wreck This Journal. I know lots of people who also enjoy This Is Not A Book and The Pocket Scavenger by Keri Smith if you'd like to give one of those a try! 😄

Bella they turned out amazing. Do think the seconds circle on the shoe page is not the best because I think it is to dark but its ok. But I LOVED the first page it was so cute. LOVE YOU😊😊😊💖💖💖 also I was late because I had church hope thats ok

You should try dripping isopropyl alcohol in your markers that dried out and see if that works. You could also turn water based markers into alcohol based markers. 😉
Ooooo now this is an idea! I might have to try that. I'm ok with them running out though to be honest, they were really cheap! I think they were only $25 😂
You should put rubbing alcohol in your caliart alcohol markers when they run out it gets more color out of it, but not too much because it will make the colors too light also i don’t know if anyone else said that but ya

Just a suggestion if you don't want your alcohol markers to run out as fast maybe try a different media when colouring the back grounds? Such as paint or coloured pencils also awesome video can't wait for the next one 💜
Thanks for the suggestion! I honestly don't mind when they run out because these were so cheap. I think I got them for around $25 and they've lasted me quite a while now 😆. Thanks for liking my videos!!

So cute! You should try coloring first and then outlining so that the black doesn't bleed in ur colors. Just lighten the pencil marks and that would be better. Just a suggestion!
