I must thank first of all THANK Mr. Vellingkar , because of you I am getting news about the exploit of Goemcho Saib, inspite of many books which are in my library, yet I failed to open them. .
At the same time we should not forget the missionary work conducted by SADHU SUNDAR SINGH,.like St Paul he was enemy of Jesus Christ, who went all out to burn Bibles, yet he became an important factor in Asia to introduce Christ to others at a great personal risk.

It is not an indian style to praise the one who was a deputed person for enquisition in the world, for which by the same rules were framed. We goan never ever protected the wrong, we might have come to know late, still we have to refrain ourselves from defending the wrong deeds. And here the proofs are placed in front of media. And not challenged but requested to think again. We indians don't put our views forcibly on others, mostly majority, who suffered because of the plans of the same person. Praising the invaders in the name of having or belonging to the same religion through same missionaries. Real problem is here of self respect. Wake up goans wake up!
Thats why you people should be taught how to interpret history and learn it. Y'all make your own history everyday and try to submerge the crimes made by the Dvijas. Saint Francis Xavier was deputed for Inquisition in Goa? Who told you this? WhatsApp or FB post?.
You know the meaning of Inquisition atleast? Inquisition in latin means "to Inquire". It was implemented on the newly converts who were reverting back because of their superstitious beliefs like human sacrifice etc.
You May be Talking about the Letter SFX wrote to King John III dated 16 may 1546. Fyi, the Letter which this mention is recorded is in fact written from Aboyna, Malacaus. And he referred to it as India. Amboyna Malacaus is modern day Ambona island of Maluku island of Indonesia. The Letter referred that place as territory not State and Indonesia back then was a Portuguese colonised area and our Goa was the capital of it.
Sfx was against the Brahmanas and other Dvijas who would suppress the lower caste. He wasn't a anti hindu or whatever. He came, he saw and he saved. Whereas he was against the barbaric practice and rituals done by those Animist and spiritists who would offer humans as sacrifice to their gods. Eg to Kali. His work were so great thats why people in Goa though it be the Lower caste hindus or Christian still call him "Goencho saib".

Before goa enquisition was practiced in spain n portugal against jews, in written history later it was systematically tried to justify his deeds, and now it is becoming your prestig issue. What was fone before his arrival, than his way of doing, were he involved forces, and inspite when he realizes his afforts are falling short he suggested enquisition in goa, after 3yrs he dies than later after 9 years same enquisition is imposed. Enquisition is enquiry about others, natives, faith and than actions to change the same. Plz go through Wikipedia many more facts are posted their.
