Francis Xavieran king of Portugalak letter baraila inquisition law goa had mhanun. Now whether Portugal king immediately accepted his request or not act on his request is not the matter of debate but such request was made by our “so called Goicho Saib”is the sad history.
Xavier was a missionary and he was sent by highest church authority and king of Portugal and his mission was to “set up team or Make strategy to convert people” not necessarily he himself work on the ground to do all those atrocities.
Other Missionaries, Portuguese soldier were doing the forceful conversions, destroying temples and other atrocities (so whom will you blame this for? Not the one who was in charge of the mission? Xavier is definitely one of prime culprit to change the social culture of goa. Many of our ancestral left goa 400-500 years ago to save themselves from conversion, many of their current generation pilgi still come to our village during utsav to visit deity.
You made a point that, Letter was written by Xavier 14 years before the actual court of inquisition set up in 1561 hence his letter has not played any role. You must consider, to take certain decision, Bringing the new law takes lots of planning, consideration and correct time. (You can take many example from current world where certain decisions were taken after so many years of demand)
You said,When Cht. Sambhaji Maharaj attacks Portuguese goa and what happened after that is not Miracle but coincident, I agree. But you said some people consider is Miracle and called him Goicho Saib then it’s their Bhavartha/Shradha. Now My question is to you, who are those “some people”? Those few people liked that so called miracle should be portugues people or supporter of Portugues government. That Miracle of his was disaster for goa (we could have get independence that time itself).
What you said about Parshuram I have nothing to say.But what people says about Parshuram is also their Bhavartha and shradha.
Personally I won’t call him Goicho saib , those who wish to call him Goicho saib I don’t have any objection to it. but same time what happened in 500 years ago you can’t ignore or read history the way you wants to read it. Remember Your forefathers are watching you.
Interpreting historical event is very important. Uday bab All your conclusion and interpretation is to appease certain section of people, you straight away given clean chit to him.
1st know the fact that you are not goan. 2nd native goans from all faith still believe in goincho saib. Remember native goans not outsiders who migrated after liberations like you.

This fellow must be answered logically and historically. While speaking on faiths and beliefs, he mentions Xavier as St. Xavier but do not forget to mention Bhagwan Parshuram as simply Parshuram. This shows his biased nature and pre contaminated thoughts.
He says, why any one would kill a person if want to change the religion? This is simply a gross and ignorant statement. He seems not to be aware of types of influences. Some one must tell him that inquisition was not like a felicitation with garlands.... It had various steps of cruelty which Xavier was completely aware. So there is no question as when the inquisition Actually started in Goa. Writing a letter to king and asking for atrocities and punishment itself enough for the evil thoughts.

Inqusition was for the Jews, and the history about Jews in Goa is now been discovered. Hence, to extend an apology, the Govt of Portugal have then later declared to give Portuguese Nationality for the Jews of Goa-India and other Portuguese old states.
Yes and now our some of Hindu brothers and sisters availed that benefit and became portuguese nationals and are making their living there..i wonder why these communalists and hindutva savers are not appealing to them to give up that benefit and come back to GOA..isn't that not patronizing the same oppressors?

Why is Saint Francis Xavier, who murdered thousands of Hindus during the Goan Inquisition, regarded as a saint & why you are comparing him with Lord Parashuram?
Why is Xavier called as saint even though he had tortured Hindus in Goa?
Hindus must understand that the meaning of saint or messiah is not exactly the same as an austere Hindu sadhu. There is no equivalent word of Sadhu for the Abrahamic religions. This is because these religions do not have the concept of individual moksha or nirvana.
Thus, the concept of saint/prophet/messiah etc words was only relative when it came to being good, honourable, kind or compassionate.
What I am trying to say here is that the ideal ‘benevolent’ image of a saint in Christianity is only benevolent to those who believed in their version of God and religion. The Hindus of Goa were seen as heretics/infidels and defiers of the Gospel, only worthy of most painful deaths and eternity in their concept of hell.[1]
Why is Francis Xavier regarded as a Saint when history speaks volumes about his merciless torture and killing of 49,000+ Hindus in Goa?
Today, for varied political and nefarious intentions, Xavier continues to be hailed as one could imagine a dystopian world where the liberated Jews were to hail Goebbels or Erwin Rommel of the Nazi party.
Give some ecidence or records of who was killed. Since you dont have any numbers you say 1000. Tomorrow u will say millions. Educate yourself do some research. And if possible grow up.
