I believe marz is playing fallout 4 not because she likes it, but because of the fallout tv show being popular, this is no coincidence she is playing fallout 4 now..... so esencialy she is playing fallout 4 in a petty attempt to grow her channel, it's just sad:(

@@isaacalves97 Dude, you are being way too too harsh on her. First, because even if that's what she did when she decided to play the game, exploiting the algorithm is just a standard part of pretty much every youtuber's life, so why hate? Second, I think she actually _does_ like it. She spontaneously smiles at stuff she's doing all the time and makes a lot of random offhand comments about what's fun and those jibe with what I like about the game. Anyway, you're still here at part 2, so you must be enjoying something about her playthrough. Sit back, let go, have a good time, and stop overthinking things. You'll be happier. 🙂

@@isaacalves97 Yeah she’s totally made 3 episodes cause she doesn’t like it at all. Many gamers are playing Fallout 4 right now because of the show. Not because they didn’t like Fallout before, but because they probably didn’t know it existed. You should be happy Fallout is getting more attention
yeah i was probably to harsh on her i get it.......but i just don't like when people "sell out" you know? it also doesn't help my inbox in youtube in the past few days was spamming fallout stuff to no end, but you are right i am overthinking it, now that I have some time to think it's most likely she liked the show and now she is playing the game out of curiosity and not out of greed or views.

The VA for Nora is Courtenay Taylor. She also played Jack in Mass Effect 2&3 and Ada Wong in RE6. If you want to hear some of her best work in this game, choose 'sarcastic' whenever it pops up, and grab the 'Wasteland Whisperer' perk when you can. Some of the stuff she says is hysterical.
And the VA for Piper is Courtney Ford.

Getting distracted on your way to the objective is the most Bethesda thing ever.
I just did it yesterday playing Fallout 4 - was on my way to a quest and suddenly one of those Brotherhood of Steel helicopters land over the hilltop and start fighting a bunch of Super Mutants. So I go to investigate, they both end up killing eacother, I find a building full of Super Mutants, there are a bunch of doors to unlock, loot to find, 45 minutes pass and I've completely forgotten what I was doing and where I was going.

I have never seen that in the game, do they have the power armor on? if so is it possible to loot the power armor?
@@Greatduck777 Yup, but it was lower level power armor than I already had. I think they start patrolling all over the place after the Prydwen arrives.

Never leave the fusion core in your power armor unattended. Someone WILL take it. I had a whole line up of power Armor and all of them that had fusion cores became missing.
Don't forget to give Dogmeat a teddy bear.

that's basically wasting stimpaks since all companions can recover without anything
She is walking away from a lot of good weapons and totalling missing out in the open stashes.
In this game, all your junk can be broken down into material to use for building things in your settlements, so its worth keeping pretty much everything.
Ya GOTTA pick up ALL the ammo, even .38, because that's what the pipe pistols run

Yo, Marz! Put some level-up points into the base Charisma stat if you want to be better at persuasion checks in dialogue. Also helps with store prices!

You need soap, it has oil and you will need that. Also pick up as much as you can, periodically transfer the junk to your sidekick, dogmeat in this instance. When you get back to Sanctuary you can transfer everything back to you and then to the workbench/settlement. You want to become a hoarder.
And yes take all the armor back to either Sanctuary or another base and take out the Fusion Core, if you don't someone will steal the suit.

Here is a good tip for you Marz:
Get along with Danse for he is the best companion you can have early (there is also Strong (yes, that's his name) but he is not that reliable when it come to combat)

So glad you still could try the hair stylist in Diamond City. Sometimes it's useful to check the time of day. A lot of places and people are only available during the day from and up to a certain time. What you can do in those situations is either find a place to sleep (best option) or if there isn't anything nearby find a bench, chair or something to sit, then you have the option to "wait" for a specific amount of hours.

picking up drop weapon can also give you ammunition, just remember to throw them away after
Actually, you don’t look like a Raider, you are dressed in Diamond City Security gear.
Also, you can store anything at a workshop, and you can sell anything.
In addition, everything you pick up can be broken into its components, for example an Aluminum Can usually consists of Aluminum and Oil. Both are used in improving weapons, armor, and/or making settlement pieces.
Diamond City and Bunker Hill both have hours on their shops, Drumlin Diner does not.
Oh, and Bunker Hill is one of the stops for Cricket’s caravan. So if you want to run into her to get the “Spray and Pray” she might be there or at the entry gate to Diamond City.
I've played this game so many times that I had forgotten how chaotic it can be when first learning it. It's great.
Dogmeat is the absolute goodest boy lol
Just fyi, you can upgrade your armor so it's more durable and doesn't look rusted over anymore. No shade just some game play tip. And here's another one you'll want to know. Do not attempt to clear a nest a farrel goals unless you have a upgraded semi auto shotgun and plenty of ammo, especially the one in the military base!!

The people in your settlement won't take your power armours if you don't have a fusion core in them.
The little asterisk star next to items like: Guns, melee weapons and armor pieces. When you're looting items indicates that item has an upgraded part on it. Those are typically worth looting, So you can disassemble them and use those upgraded parts on your weapons.

I got so tired of doing everything in the dark, so I just took to sleeping on random mattresses until it was daytime! It has the added advantage of restoring your health.

If you holster your weapon before talking to someone your persuasion is better. If you want to intimidate draw the weapon.

Hope you allow yourself to get immersed in this game. I get you’ve gotta move to where the views are… But for your own gaming experience. These games aren’t designed to be experienced in just a couple weeks. There is a whole world you can get lost in. A whole life you can make. It’s pretty incredible.

EDIT: Also, the reason why it's a good idea to take the Fusion Cores out of your Power Armor is because if your settlement is attacked, sometimes a settler will get in the Power Armor and will never give it back. Unfortunately, you can't command settlers to get in and out of it, only your companions.

You’re gonna love this game I promise. Just a heads up, start looking at what “junk” is made up of. If you go to the junk tab in your inventory, you can see “component view” which is what the junk is made of. That will be how you get gears, screws, nuclear material, steel, cloth, circuitry, etc. it’s really important. Or you can just watch a junk guide by Jayvee on UA-cam. Good luck in your apocalypse!

Cricket sells the best gun in the game - spray n pray. Fully spec into the automatic weapons and explosives perks and that thing will shred anything.
When you exit your power armor you keep damaged pieces of it with you in your inventory. Thats why you have the power armor arm with you still. Once you go to the power armor crafting station you can repair the parts that get damaged in battle. Just make sure you dont accidentally sell any of them.
The aim in this gameplay is actually crazy. I never would’ve thought someone would think controller aim is tough lol. It is actually so easy lmao
Always, always take duct tape! Practically every mod uses adhesive, ie duct tape

My biggest gripe with newer fallout/elder scroll games is that they put too much urgency in the main story. For example, finding your son. I know im beating a dead horse, but Morrowind did it best. Here is a letter. Can you please take it to this person at your earliest convenience? These games should be about exploring and going on adventures and perhaps uncovering an overarching threat through your travels.

There were a few other things. I think you responded to something about mods, regarding junk you should pick up or did pick up. You responded that you were playing on PS so no mods. That would be game mods. The mods spoken about were in-game mods. You can take a piece of armor to an armor station and improve it. You can take a weapon to a weapon crafting station and modify it. These mods can be done from scratch, or by taking the existing mod of another item of the same type.
Your settlers can also wear stuff you pick up.
The number of things you can do in VATS is based upon Action Points and weapon. Action Points automatically refresh over time, the Nuka Cola drinks also restore action points.
Clothing also affects your SPECIAL traits.
Remind her to keep quicksaving, as much as she can.
