Travel to Antarctica with Moms

We traveled to Antarctica to celebrate our 10th anniversary and invited our moms to join us on this adventure.
我们到南极庆祝结婚十周年，也邀请了妈妈们跟我们一起踏上这趟南极之旅。
As we get older, we realize that the time we get to spend with our parents is limited. Companionship and time with our parents is the greatest luxury that we can never buy back, and the most valuable gift we can share with them. As such, we have been focusing and prioritizing spending quality time and making memories with our loved ones these past few years.
随着年岁渐长，我们开始领悟到跟父母相处的时间越来越有限。陪伴父母，以及和父母在一起的时光是世上最奢侈，最难能可贵，且珍贵的礼物。所以我们近几年都尽量花多点时间陪伴家人，珍惜和家人在一起的时光，也通过旅行创造珍贵的回忆。
We are so grateful to have the opportunity to explore this special and remote part of the world together with our moms. Antarctica is truly an untouched beauty. From the breathtaking landscapes, to the amazing wildlife encounters, we had so many unforgettable experiences and made precious memories with our moms.
感恩能有机会和妈妈一起探索这个独特，神秘，且难以达到的地方。南极是地球上少数保留着原始状态的自然保护区。这里一望无际的宏伟秀丽风景，丰富的原生态野生动物，给了我们很多难忘的经历，也让我们和妈妈创造了许多珍贵的回忆。
We had new experiences and tried many activities for the first time with our moms on this trip. We tried snowshoeing, mountaineering in the snow, camping out in the open-air on Antarctica, and kayaking between icebergs and penguins.
这趟旅程充满了新的体验，也跟妈妈一起尝试了很多新的活动。我们尝试了雪鞋徒步，在雪中登山，在南极陆地挖雪坑露营过夜，也尝试划独木舟穿梭在冰川和企鹅之间。
We have come to this point in our life where we become the ones who plan the trips, guide, and help them as we travel to new places. While we may be in our prime years to explore the world and experience new things, we had to remind ourselves to slow down and be more patient, as this is also our parents' first time experiencing all these that they weren't able to when they were raising us.
以前是大手拉小手，但我们已到了人生的这个阶段，成为旅程中安排与策划一切的 ‘大人’，而妈妈也放心让我们抓着她们的手探索世界不同的角落。我们也许正处于探索世界和体验新事物的黄金时期，但我们必须常提醒自己放慢脚步，也应该更有耐心。毕竟这也是我们的父母第一次经历她们在抚养我们时无法经历的这一切。
We are so busy growing up that we often forget that our parents are also growing older and some things may be harder for them. They may not be as fast and strong as they used to be when we were young. We are glad we were able to help our moms during this trip and also thankful to all the amazing expedition guides.
当我们在忙着长大的同时，似乎常常忘了父母也在慢慢变老，有些事情对她们也许会比较困难。她们或许不再像年轻时那么快那么健壮。庆幸我们在这趟旅途中能在妈妈需要帮忙时协助她们，也感谢所有探险队员一路上的帮忙和扶持。
Life goes by fast and time is finite, so spend time, make memories, and cherish every moment with our parents while we still can.
生命来来往往，来日未必方长。珍惜和父母在一起的时光，也珍惜你还能为她们做的事情。趁家人还健在，把最好的陪伴给她们，不留遗憾。
