I am glad you are keeping some important historical machinary under cover Phil. It was a sad day when I scrapped my grandfathers old Massey harris combine, it had been left outside and allowed to rot. A crying shame.
Great video loved seeing all the machines, sorry I am catching up with all your videos. I come from Taunton Somerset. I remember my dad using machines like those ones back in the day. I vaguely remember the name New Holland, I'm pretty sure his Bailer was New Holland but I can't remember what the Combine Harvester was. But all his tractors were definately blue Fords.
after how today went my father is talking of making a bi annual event out of it ill try make it an annual event but there will definitely be another one
Good video Farmer Phil.did think vintage combine vid would not be my 'cup of tea' but I was wrong, good as usual.Well worth enjoyed as much as always.Keep up the good work, and wishing us all GOOD LUCK.
I see the GPS, yield mmonitor, ECU engine managemnt and air con options were not chosen when the machines were new. However, I reckon that is probably why those combines are still working today! I cannot see any modern tractors or combines being around in 50years time.
@@SimonHugh1 The type with natural and not forced air flow yes. It was only when the cab was fitted as standard that they had to invent a forced air system using a blower motor.
Near Ennis, if you want it I can meet you around ballinasloe or Portumna. I am busy until the new year, we can arrange a suitable day in January if that’s ok with you.
I tried to sell a 500 combine for two years. Perfect working order she was. In the end scraped her. Still got a 515 multi flow with 12ft header. I do wonder what to do with it some times.
Hi Phil great video. I'm not going to say wich one off the combins is same age as me. So have a ges . I'm looking for a cheap 4 wheel drive tractor long as it runs and drivers don't care what it looks like. If you no off any . Thanks great video as normal. From Andy in UK

It was the original version of a combine. Used to separate grain from straw before combines were invented
What is the name of the wax
It’s a machinery wax from Spauldings
