All your cows have such great personalities, Tom. They have always been my favourite animals, and it is so good to see your affection for them and their response to you. There could be no better advocates for farming than yourself, the Ginger Warrior, and your farm itself!

Hello! I’m a farmer in “Taiwan”
It’s really exciting because of this video!
Sharing your life makes me feel familiar, farmer’s life is not easy, especially to be a dairy farmer!
But in Taiwan,we feed cows in different ways!We import hays from America or other countries,we don’t be herd because the limit of land !Also we have a lots of things different, but still happy you share it!

Farmers around the world don't get the appreciation they deserve.

    • @vericaivanic1095
      @vericaivanic1095 8 місяців тому

Only good farmers deserve it, not the ones who separate mother cows and calves after birth. Yes, this also happens, dear UA-cam viewers! A forced separation, so that some cruel farmers get all the milk. There are also abusive farmers who let the calf stay with her or his mother, but don't allow the calf to nurse as much as she or he needs!

Another good video, fantastic half hour that brought back some lovely memories,. Nice to see farming work being done rather than seeing everything put out to contractors while the youtuber swans around on various farm vehicles doing nothing. Love your honesty and openness and how much you care for your stock.. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos and for sharing, keep up the good work.

A very, very good video, Tom! Thoroughly enjoyed seeing a day in your life through the lens. Like many farmers, You and your Father (wearer of the fabulous ginger moustache) are a credit to the industry! The care, time and effort you take in your animals is terrific to see, your passion for gaming always jumps out the screen. Awesome.

I’m attempting to go to Agriculture College next year when this is all over!
Love the vids as always Tom bois!
I live on a sheep farm but I’ve got nothing to do with it unfortunately!
I’ve worked dairy farm’s before and me and my brother are saving to buy our own farm. I’m only 15 and obviously don’t get much money so it’s tough but Farming has been apart of my life for ages, it was my dad who started farming but he had to leave and me and my brother followed his footsteps. It takes time but hopefully with money coming in, we should have our own farm in the next year or 2. It’s just finding one we can afford as a family (me, my brother and dad)

@The Havoc ai is honestly pretty messed up in my opinion, but if you're ok with that, then I won't argue about that.
And about the calves, I mostly asked the question to make you/the original commenter to think about it. Most dairy calves don't even get the luxury of pasture (especially males), and are kept in tiny pens where they can hardly move. Even if they do end up pastures, they have to be orphaned and confined at least until weining age. I feel the whole system is messed up.
1 year, out of the 20 years they'd live naturally. 1 year and they're just toddlers, taken to slaughter, which I call living hell.

Once in your life you will need:
A policeman, a lawyer, a doctor and a preacher but every day 3 times a day you need a farmer
Townies you must respect your farmers for you need us and if there’s someone in he government here maybe try and stop forcing down our tillage yield and refusing to pay us what we deserve

Right at the beginning I saw the car and thought “no way in hell an American farmer drives that car” then England’s flag was shown on the fence 😂

Alot of diary cow breeds are built that way they arent skinny. On cattle with different breeds comes different body types and such. These cows look to be in good health.
