Those helicopter chase shots and that late 80s production music guitar solo just make this that much more awesome.
Ivan will always be my favorite driver of all time. His work in that truck, put Toyota Trucks on the map.
The real Iron man.
Crazy how far offroad trucks have come since this, he said “the torsion bars are right” crazy that they were doing this with torsion bars and the infamous Toyota 3. Slow v6… their worst v6 engine… but it was modified to make 400 hp.
Still the baddest truck ever made. Insanely capable and sturdy vehicles and reliable as hell (except the 3.0 lol)
This makes me want to play his arcade game ivan ironman stewarts super off road!
Nitrous button!!!
Off-Road Challenge brings me here.
That truck was so ahead of its time
MOTORCYCLE STIG i bet if they brought it out nowadays it would still win!
@@emolgatheelectricsquirrel6734 I agree. I honestly think BJ Baldwin's Toyota doesn't have the soul this truck has. To think all trucks were square shaped and boxy back then. They didnt start making round shaped trucks till almost the 2000s
Bjs truck has an LS engine!!!! lolol
Once a LEGEND always a LEGEND 👍🏻
Now I see where the dev who gave BeamNG players the LKS Prerunner took the inspiration from!!
RIP Mickey Thompson
They hit it outta the park.
I RESPECT IVAN IRONMAN STEWART
From my child hod, you been my hero
IVAN IRONMAN STEWART RULES NOTHING CAN BEAT A TOYOTA
lol, yeah ok
But Porsche beat Toyota at the 2017 24 Hours of Le Mans?
German_shepherd_dog offroad, porsche is nothing
Toyota vehicles are built to last if tuned up and well taken care of
@@jedisentinel1499 way to bring back the old commercials!!
Man that last scene where they dump that whole cooler on him.... I hope the water didn't mess up his smartphone. 😅😂🤣
Skeeter McSwagger luckily smart phones weren’t invented yet
@@nova2293 that's what I meant.🤪😁😂
Skeeter McSwagger oh I thought you were five 😂😂
@@nova2293 how dare you!!
I'm almost 7......🤔
Amazing!!
Did you ever blow caskets on that v6 3.0 racing??
Forza Horizon 4 brought me here
TAMIYA's Hilux Monster Racer????
How did I get here...
I loved the Toyota Stadium Truck in DIRT 2. You could weasel your way in between all the fat 'murrican trucks and beat them lap after lap. Very maneuverable.
Ill take my fat "murican truck and squash that lil toyoduh !!! hahaha
Best race car/truck in the Game. Hands down.
This Toyota Stadium Truck?
3.0 V6 making around 400 hp.
The team said it was more like 300-350
yeah, my RWD, four wheel independent suspension and disk breaks, mid engined, fuel injected "truck" xD
TEAM TOYOTA RULES
Nissan never learns toyota always wins
Those white guys hated that white guy in that yellow truck.... lol
V6 3.0
Yup that's as close to a truck as the sr71 is just a Cessna and win 5 out of 6 races and no wrenching on it ? I call bullshit.
Bruh, look at Ivan’s career record. 84 wins including 17 Baja 500s and 3 1000s. He earned the title Ironman by racing solo. He didn’t wear gloves and favored open faced helmets with goggles. If he says it happened, I believe it.
@@ThatWolfFromHyruleGaming I'm not knocking his accomplishments about racing, it's all the illegal stuff he calls fun for the camera or whatever. Jumping over a train, dumping a bike in the pool, riding g a motorcycle in a skateboard park, jumping down a dam. It might all be fun but illega and that's just the few I seenl, then some kid does it gets hurt and Sue's the city, county and state or property owners. Like I said what a role model.
Sorry wrong reply to something else
@@ThatWolfFromHyruleGaming ivan may not have looked at it but the team did. No race team races without checking over the truck especially at that level.
They moved to Trophy Truck class in 1991, so maybe the plan for 1990 was to retire this particular truck and get out a new build going forward. If you watch these videos in the right order, you may notice how the truck changed over time. The one everyone is most familiar with was the 1993 V6 “015” chassis, which later went to housing a V8 that lasted until 2000 when Ivan retired.
I wonder how much shit he got for driving a toyota...
84 wins in 40 some odd years of off road racing. Nobody was laughing
