Did you see the size of that unit in the doorway, waiting to be 'served?' He was screaming like a girl in a dress to G4S about how he 'wasn't comfortable being filmed!' He does know that the entire building he's crying in, is watched by CCTV....😂😂😂
You're getting really slick at this. It needs to be done. You're providing the best service. Who do these g4s think they are , handling personal info etc and dealing woofully with members of the public
Don't allow them to use members of the public to control where you point your camera. If someone is uncomfortable with your camera, it's not your responsibility to assuage their fears.
Another interesting/illuminatimg video, TLA! Two things struck me as very odd regarding the attitude of JC staff: 1. A security breach is an violation caused by the perpitrator (i.e. the Job Centre managers in this case), not by some member of the public who witnesses it or even films it for evidential purposes. 2. The JC staff member welcomed a customer by explaining that because there was someone doing unauthorised filming on the premises no personal details would be asked for (even though he wouldn't necessarily know you were recording audio). That's good and fair enough. But, presumably, if you had just been a member of the public sat there not filming then he would have asked all the personal questions in full earshot of any Tom, Dick or Harry. And what an unprofessional/negligent practice that is!
Why are almost all jobcentres continually breaching GDPR all over the place? Does the ICO even do anything or is it a case of one government agency looking the other way when it comes to another government agency?
Can any of them actually explain just what the problem is with filming in a public space. The camera only sees what the eye can see so nothing there is a secret. It’s bizarre.
TLA YOU ARE DOING A GOOD JOB PUTTING PEOPLE IN THEIR PLACE AND AT THE SAME TIME MAKING SURE PUBLIC FILMING IS NOT PROHIBITED AND PERSONAL INFORMATION IS KEPT SECRET.
How is these government employees are totally ignorant of the photography laws and the issued guideline relating to the use of cameras in job centres?…..its an appalling state of affairs and these people need training
Only information on show was name of customer.who the customer was seeing and time of appt.nothing else to show about gdpr wouldnt say it was breaking rules
Yeah it can be soo funny when you ask them to tell you step by step on how to access the info that the QR codes refer you to , then point out that their sign trys to prohibit the use of camera's so how can you access it without camera . They try to claim that there's exemptions but these exemptions are not mentioned anywhere for us to know what they are . They just sad😢
Hi TLA. Just been interviewing in Luton Jobcentre plus on behalf of my compnay and omg how many security guards in this place!!! Also one of the job centre enployees asked me to go down and speak to a gentleman about a possible job where we came across the job centre manager and she points at me and goes who are you? No hello or anything. Had to walk away from her before i said something to her. The guy i was talking to said that's the new manager she is a bit abrupt. So if you are ever in this area 😊
I am sure there is some sort of backhanded going on with our government and G4 S let’s start asking questions why we have 345 and six in some places security guards in the job centre. Absolutely ridiculous when we have one-man doors of public houses. No wonder the government has got no money. We need to start asking serious questions
Gentleman customer is filmed by government and corporation cctv’s day and night every week month and year and all of a sudden is worried about one camera 😀😀😀😀😀
Those orgs can't put him on social media without being subject to consent under GDPR though, whereas TLA is likely to do so, so I think the individual has a fair concern which TLA honoured. Though it is 100% on the JS to provide everyone with privacy, the fact the camera was there is exactly the point (they should see them all as data breaches irrespective).
QR codes galore in the public area. Meanwhile, time for management and security to double-down, escalate and create a disturbance to inconvenience as many people as possible. When will they take responsibility for GDPR and comply with their own guidance?
It's really down to the management to be Cognizant about the law and read the policies about filming in public or tax payers funded buildings , unfortunately the security goons are Clueless about these things. They're subordinates. So in a way I understand their buffoonery. All be it embarrassing. Well done TLA, thank you for your auditing.
It is legal to film in any public area. The public owns Job Centers, not DWP tax-paid civil servants. They can put up any signs they like, but they are illegal. Why not put up a sign ''DO NOT PISS ON THE CARPET''.
How would you suggest that the staff protect people’s personal information in a public space where you’re entitled to film? I’m genuinely curious. I understand not leaving it out on display but what about on the computers if you’re going near it with a camera?
For monitors such as the lady at her desk, businesses or entities dealing with sensitive information should be using Privacy Screen Protectors/ Filters which only permits those sitting directly in-front of the monitor to see it, if viewed at an angle will be darkened and obscured.
You should wear a wee badge that says i'm recording for my security because they do it for theirs, then they don't have a leg to stand on. whats good for the goose is good for the gandder.
Apart from the first G4S security guard the other two were professional and friendly enough. The DWP manager was a clueless muppet who sho read up on jobcenter policy.
So they call the police because they think you've committed a crime then ask you to leave the scene of said crime? Then they lie about calling the police, what a joke.
They find them on the beaches straight from the illegal dinghies on the beach of South Coast England where they launched from France. Allied universal and G4S sign them up straight away so that their illegal immigrant status is bypassed and that now they're legal Security Personnel paid rock-bottom wages that good British folk wouldn't work for in a million years!
Pretty straightforward audit a few wrinkles need ironing out' but overall quite gd' look forward to seeing you in central London on the 11 next week 🇬🇧 🏴🏴🇮🇪🏅😎🎖️
Yes the need for not displaying sensitive details "can't be emphasised enough"!! And this also emphasises the importance of you needing to combine Job Centres along with other buildings whenever you are auditing!!
it can be argued both ways. I don't mind a premiere as long as its not listed as a premiere several days in advance. "Premiere coming Summer 2024" type of thing.
you might just as well have been talking to the chair as those G4s so called security pratts had no idea what you were talking about, thick as two short planks,
"I'm just here to film the job boards to see what local opportunities are available" - The Lying Auditor.
Usual more staff and security than actual job seekers. Job centres need de funding asap.
Did you see the size of that unit in the doorway, waiting to be 'served?' He was screaming like a girl in a dress to G4S about how he 'wasn't comfortable being filmed!' He does know that the entire building he's crying in, is watched by CCTV....😂😂😂
He might be signing on while working on the side.
You're getting really slick at this. It needs to be done. You're providing the best service. Who do these g4s think they are , handling personal info etc and dealing woofully with members of the public
You should go to reading job centre, there's more security than other staff members and they handle folks personal information.
Don't allow them to use members of the public to control where you point your camera. If someone is uncomfortable with your camera, it's not your responsibility to assuage their fears.

Moaning about filming...
The place is full of QR codes which require a phone camera to read them.
No filming 😂😂😂
Why are almost all jobcentres continually breaching GDPR all over the place? Does the ICO even do anything or is it a case of one government agency looking the other way when it comes to another government agency?
Literally everything on those walls has a QR code on it, but you're not allowed your phone out?
Bizarre behaviour.
Be great if you could audit some migrant hotels. That's where all the action is....
That bloke said I feel for you guys when he doesn’t even know what you are doing there. Some people just can’t help being a div can they.
That security team are just another bunch of useless box tickers
You should ask either the security guards or staff how can you take pictures of QR codes if you are not allowed to use your camera.?

You need to try Catford or Peckham job centre
The signs have QR-codes ONLY readable with a camera.

My mum used to say shes ringing the police when I was misbehaving, they never turned up either lol

The reason for a lot of military stuff as you call it is because Aldershot is the Home of the British Army
Has anyone ever applied for a job via one of these type of videos?
Surprisingly empty job centre, everyone in Aldershot must be in employment, we should all move there.
