Hello the videos are awesome. I have a question on the stand you built. Would you mind sharing the dimensions of the steel and also width and length of the stand. Sorry if it has been ask before. Thank you very much
Huh? 🤔 There are literally hundreds of variables that can make a cam sound this way, or that way, in any given engine combination. To say that, "this is the cam to sound the best", is completely ridiculous.
Hey, was just wondering about the excessive valve train noise lots of people are talking about with these extreme energy cams, did you notice any excessive ticking noise at idle? very nice motor, and sounds great!! thanks for posting.
Yes they are pretty noise for a hydraulic cam. But I run 10w-40 oil with the zinc additive and it definitely helps quiet it down. And once the engine warms up it quiets down a little more too. If you want something that has good performance and quiet valvetrain then I would recommend the magnum 280h by comp cams. Hope this helps thanks for asking
@@bricoperformanceengines2208 Lifter noise generally gets louder as an engine warms up, not quieter. Piston slap is a common noise that is louder when an engine is cold, and goes away when it gets warm.
Stock camshafts make about 18-20" of vacuum. You can run as low as 10" of vacuum with the larger brake booster. I know this for a fact because I have done it personally. So 12 will work great. To increase vacuum at idle you can increase initial timeing a few degrees and or increase the idel. And lastly you can get a vacuum canister.they work pretty good too.

Can we please get a full spec of the cam, lifters, lifter rod, springs and rocker arms please. That sounds so good! 🤘

Can you post price for full build? Looking to build a motor soon
What did you lash valves at? And what size carb spacer ?
where did you put the total timing at my idle is a lot lower i like how your motor sounds
Initial timing is at 16 degrees and Total is at 36 degrees
Then turn your idle up.... 🤦🏻

Dont most brake boosters require 18" of vacuum to operate correctly? if so how can you increase vacuum if this makes only 12"?
