Dude on excavator is a good operator. Nice grab. Still growing nicely. Congrats buddy
Thanks Steven, you going to be publishing a new video soon?
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel yea bud. Should have one up this week
Cool, I'll be sure to be on the lookout for it.
Excavator, trucks..👍
Yep, I like them too! Thanks for checking it out.
Super vedeo mon amie, bon travail, 👍👍👍👋👋

Nice video. Cheers
Thanks, glad you liked it. Appreciate you commenting too 👍🏻
Cool video!
Thanks, appreciate that bud.
I love these videos so much. Heavy machinery are amazing.
You got that right, heavy machinery is amazing and is often overlooked by people. These machines do a lot for us. Appreciate you watching Raymond!
Nice video... 👍
Thanks, I appreciate you watching 👍🏻
Wah mening bosku
Thanks for watching my friend !
Nice video 👍
Appreciate you watching my friend!
Nice video good to see
Thanks bud, appreciate you watching and commenting down here.
Good job bro
Thank you for watching this one.
It amazes me how contractors on this kind of trench work don't have a side dump bucket on the loader. Much, much more efficient.
Maybe the side dump buckets are too expensive for some smaller companies? Honestly I have never seen a side dump bucket used on a loader. It would be nice to see and record if I ever do find one.
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel I believe they are geographical in nature. In my area of the north east, from New Jersey up to Massachusetts, they are all over the place. Virtually every wheel loader and rubber tired Backhoe used in utility jobs, has a side dump mounted. Look up on UA-cam for side dump bucket on loaders. Some nice videos of them, but I never really seen anybody truly demonstrate just how useful and efficient they are. I really don't know how people can do a job like the one in your video without one. Makes me scratch my head.
@@scottmcquarrie7295 Odd that they would be used where you are at but here in the Chicago area nobody uses them. I looked at some videos of the side dump bucket and you are right, they would make jobs like this (and others) much easier and efficient. I see a lot of videos of guys in Europe using the rototilt bucket on excavators and I don't understand why they are so rare over here when they are so versatile.
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel I see some uses for the rototilt buckets, and I really like the grapple arms on the back and they would be very useful. But the bucket looks like it has very much less breakout force and looks quite cumbersome. In some places that bucket would be great, but for everyday, I wouldn't want it.
entertaining videos 👍
Appreciate that Leo, thanks for checking out my channel. Good to have you on board 👍🏻
Very nice video! 👌
Very cool of you to leave a comment, appreciate you watching and glad you liked the video 👍🏻
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel No problem, keep up the good work. Great channel! 🔥👌
@@mebac3525 I will keep recording for you guys for sure, thanks again!
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel Nice! 😃👍
Nice video! I didn't realize Alta Equipment was over in your neck of the woods. They were one of our primary competitors here in Michigan.
They have a bunch of locations throughout the Chicago area. Hey Bryan, I have a few questions for you about this video:
1. Is the reason for putting that plastic around the water pipe meant to protect it from corroding?
2. At 4:31 of the video is he adding material to the curb so it's level for the tracks of the excavator?
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel Hey Allen, sorry again for not seeing this sooner!
1. You are correct. Soil can be pretty corrosive to ductile iron pipe so they put the sleeve around the pipe to keep it from being in direct contact with the dirt. When the pipes are fit together the guy in the hole will nest the two sleeves together at the joint to make sure it is covered as well.
2. Right again. The deeper you are digging, the more important it is to level yourself out. If you imagine the machine sitting at a pretty extreme angle, as you dig into the ground you are carrying that angle down into your trench. This can get dangerous quick because you are undermining one of the sides of the trench. The further down you dig, the more you undermine.
No problem Bryan. Thanks for answering my questions. I'm learning a lot about the industry, escpecially road construction. It's becoming one of my favorite sites to record but I often have questions about what exactly is being done on these sites. Sometimes I think I know but need to ask someone with experience (you). This probably isn't going to be the last time I have some questions for you.
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel No problem at all. I love answering questions about the industry. You seem to be picking it up quick. We'll have to get a video of you running a machine one of these days! We'll convert you to a full on operator!
That would be awesome, to be able to operate an excavator or dozer would be great, I've developed a lot of respect for these guys and the skills they have. My son has operated a few excavators at some sites we've recorded ( I won't say where because I don't want anyone to get in trouble) and he has loved it.
Selamat pagi dulurku
Selamat pagi, terima kasih sudah menonton.
I think you are good at filming👍. Is this a hobby you have in your spare time? You can tell if I ask too many weird questions🤗
Thanks, yes it started with my son and I recording machines because he liked them so much. Now we have learned so much about the indistry and different machines I feel like I should be an operator too someday. Don't worry about the questions, it doesn't bother me.
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel I forget you do not drive an excavator🥴. I am a guy who is very interested in excavators and I have been all my life and I am very curious why they do the job in their own way. I have learned a lot from other machine operators by being curious and asking and I am always looking to be able to improve ny selg as a machine operator👍. I also think it's weird that American contractors do not have more equipment on the machines today ... I got my first rotor tilt on a Hitachi 215ex September 13, 1999. I definitely think you should start in this industry, this is the best job in the world😀👍
@@Vidarsteinsland Rotortilt in 1999 is impressive! I have recorded and seen a lot of machines here in the Chicago area but I have yet to find an operator using a rotortilt. They are very rare around here and I don't understand why because they do so much different work that a standard bucket cannot.
🤝👍🥰👍🥰👍💪👏💪👏
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
Very good operator usually you see guys running hoes and banging the bucket every time they dump it keep the videos coming in
You aren't the only one saying he's a good operator, there have been a few others that agree with you.
As long as you guys keep watching I'm going to keep the videos coming. I love recording this stuff so it's a hobby of mine that my son and I do together.
He is actually the reason we started this channel, from the age of 2 he has loved watching heavy machinery, now he's 8 and still likes it.
When we are in the car I always hear, "Dad, another site! Let's go record!"
