Evil does not recognize itself as being evil. Danzo was PURE evil to the very core, to the point that Orochimaru looked misunderstood when compared to that man. Danzo used EVERY excuse to justify his actions as being the best for Konoha, when all he cared about was himself. He could only bring himself to make a sacrifice AFTER he knew he was already dying; pure cowardice.
He got to obsessed with power instead of protecting the village. He could’ve been a bit nicer to the uchiha and the leaf could’ve been way stronger with a lot of uchiha’s ,but he didn’t trust them. Danzou Shimura is one of the best, most humane and most complex characters in Naruto. I hate him as a person, but, as a character, he is absolutely brilliant. In life, he also did some good things and is, in many respects, someone to look up to for people of the Naruto world, although his philosophy was way too extremist for most, being a corruption of Tobirama's original perspective. He will always be remembered as the Leave's shadow, creator and leader of the Root, and a representative of the powerful and prestigious Shimura clan. Sometimes I really wish some material about his life was released, like a "Danzou Hidden", since we already know he was a multifaceted person with lots of nuisance, and his personal life must have been incredible. A "Danzou Hidden" would also serve as a window into the Root, and, through that, into most of the Naruto world's politics.
Danzo is a living proof that you don’t need to have a sad and tragic back stories to pushed all your buttons and become a villain. He is pure evil and his heart is being consumed by tremendous resentment, jealousy towards sarutobi and obsession to become Hokage

If Orochimaru wasn't obsessed with achieving immortality he would have been the fourth Hokage they even make note that a good number of people who voted for him. And Fugaku got shafted. The fact that people trusted Orochimaru more than Fugaku as Hokage is extremely telling. Personally I see them both is equally untrustworthy Fugaku with abused the position the only forward the Uchiha. Plus with Fugaku as Hokage it would have meant an end to the Will of Fire. Being a leader isn't just being smart.
A Hokage's first and most important job is to PROTECT the village. That mf didn't even order his Anbu to help evacuate people just because Tsunade was there. He didn't need to fight Pain. He just needed to be a shield for villagers.

That's why I was able to conclude ever since he lost to Hiruzen, he never worked for the village until his dying moments. He only cared about him being a Hokage and making the Leaf his village. He only cared about authority.
A Kage is supposed to live and die for the village. He only tried to die for it.
He sure took the Leaf's internal and external security seriously to be considered extreme. No doubt he's had people disappear in his time, and would've done it or tried to team 7 if he suspected them. He represents the darkest of the often heavy handed village governments.
I give my thanks for creating a video dedicated to Danzo, I was thinking the antagonist deserved a video on his life. I think Ino's father, Inoichi Yamanaka will be a good nomination for the next Naruto character.

@@abdelmalekbouchellal1701 because it was his opportunity to take power, he felt after tsunade was dealt with, (by pain) he could rebuild the village the way it should be. because if you remember after the pain fight is when danzo becomes the temporary hokage. he's not a good guy and he believed sacrificing lives for the village's future was fine.

He got to obsessed with power instead of protecting the village. He could’ve been a bit nicer to the uchiha and the leaf could’ve been way stronger with a lot of uchiha’s ,but he didn’t trust them. If he just trusted people he would almost be a better leader. His things he did it was for the village except it led to his downfall which was why he could’ve been a little smarter. He somewhat helped created pain and angry MS Sasuke along with the uchiha clan being stalked and wiped out.

A sharingan controlled 9 tails had just attacked the village and what the Uchihas had got was minor. They were relocated but still in the village and spied on but it was from afar so their privacy wasn't really being invaded. Also Danzo had nothing to do with Pain that was filler.

You think of Danzo was six paths Naruto level he wouldn’t just kill anybody who questioned his authority? The reason he didn’t is cuz he couldn’t and he still tried to kill many on multiple occasions even when they were on his side.

Danzou Shimura is one of the best, most humane and most complex characters in Naruto. I hate him as a person, but, as a character, he is absolutely brilliant.
In life, he also did some good things and is, in many respects, someone to look up to for people of the Naruto world, although his philosophy was way too extremist for most, being a corruption of Tobirama's original perspective.
He will always be remembered as the Leave's shadow, creator and leader of the Root, and a representative of the powerful and prestigious Shimura clan.
Sometimes I really wish some material about his life was released, like a "Danzou Hidden", since we already know he was a multifaceted person with lots of nuisance, and his personal life must have been incredible. A "Danzou Hidden" would also serve as a window into the Root, and, through that, into most of the Naruto world's politics.

If Orochimaru wasn't obsessed with achieving immortality he would have been the fourth Hokage they even make note that a good number of people who voted for him. And Fugaku got shafted. The fact that people trusted Orochimaru more than Fugaku as Hokage is extremely telling. Personally I see them both is equally untrustworthy Fugaku with abused the position the only forward the Uchiha. Plus with Fugaku as Hokage it would have meant an end to the Will of Fire. With Orochimaru as Hokage the only real problem theyd face is an increase of kidnappings

Hiruzen only stayed in power because Danzo kept him there through the dirty work. Hiruzen by himself was the worst Hokage who accomplished pretty much nothing

The problem with Danzo isn’t really about all the bad things he has done, its about how he failed at almost everything
If you think about it, Danzo could've honestly worked as a final villain.
Even with the Black Zetsu plot twist, Danzo was still responsible for a lot of major events in Naruto.
Danzo is also a realistic ninja. Out of all the characters im the show, he's the most like a ninja from real life.
Hd has a good contrast with Naruto. Also, it's criminal they never interacted in the show.
