NOTIFICATION SQUAD: Four episodes and 1,000km on a journey to Japan's most remote corner, by ice breaker ships, sleds and steam trains. This promises to be one of our most epic adventures yet and we can't wait to take you along for the ride to one of the Japan's most underrated and neglected regions. The episodes will drop every few days throughout May, so keep an eye out and be sure to hit the notorious notification bell so you don't miss the next part!

    • @AbroadinJapan

It's unfortunate but the algorithm basically assesses if the video has broad appeal (pun not intended), and if so it'll throw the video at everyone and their Mum. But if the topic is a bit niche, or has less clicks it doesn't bother. It's a constant battle these days! That's why everyone has to resort to twatty clickbait titles/topics and thumbnails.

It's basically Natsuki learning by casualty about this trip and deciding to eliminate all the possible contenders to his spot, because of course he really wanted to go.
