  • This eFREVO is developed by BirdBrain-san on alcohol stoves forum of appalachiantrailcafe.net/. Original FREVO stove is one of CHS family developed by JSB-san. BirdBrain-san combined eCHS technology to the FRAVO. By this make method, you can enjoy FREVO's super rapid boot and strong power without hard making.
    Special thanks to BirdBrain!!

    I made this stove, and it sure does heat a pot of water fast. Matter of fact, it turned part of my pot stand orange hot. So I am thinking that the opening at the top of the can (being the full can width) so too large, resulting in a burn that is hotter than I prefer. I don't always babysit my cook pot every minute. This stove boiled 1 cup of water in about 3.5 minutes, and then I felt like I needed to 'rescue' my pot by removing it from the flame. For me, a half ounce of alcohol burned out in about 5 minutes

      Instead remove the top with a file as show, just cur a circle 36 - 39mm OD, boot time will increase some seconds, but stove work more cooler and fuel last more.

    In germany, I can not found a can with same diameter in body and rim.
    The dimension, of the cans we have here, are.
    body = 52,8mm
    rim = 51,8mm
    sheet thickness = 0,2mm
    high = 134mm
    Is it possible to use these cans to build a eFREVO?

    Nice. I made one of your original CHS stoves- it works fantastic. I'm sold on the capillary action. Question: what's the purpose of leaving the non-creased sections on the inner wall? Does it assemble easier?

    • @xenaguy01
      @xenaguy01 4 роки тому +1

      _"... the non-creased sections..."_
      That's where the wire pot support brackets are screwed to the stove.

      This has three spaces without screws. There are 21 vertical lines, he crimps 5, skips 2 (with little circles), crimps 5, skips 2, crimps 5, skips 2. The circles are where the holes will go for mounting the pot support system.

      BTW - It's a bit more weigh but this Konstantyn Gatskalov external support with foldable legs is more practical to make.
      See at 5:16 - the variant #3 (@ 8:19) allow adjust stove flame height, relative to the pot.

    はじめまして、動画を参考に制作させて頂いたのですが、クリース間隔の大きな箇所の短冊を切り取ってしまうのは何か理由が有っての事なのでしょうか?

    • @tetkoba
      @tetkoba  6 років тому

      気分ですよ。あの部分も短冊用の切込みを入れれば折り曲げられます。切り込み無しじゃ幅が広すぎてかん合の際に外缶を傷つける。お好きな方でどうぞ。

      i have made sideburner version. only problem is that when the pot sits on it directly it chokes out flames a bit and increase boil time. Better than carrying a potstand in my oppinion

    FREVOはJSBさんのコメントに出てきてたので探してました。
    (検索しても出てこなかったんですが・・・^-^;)
    grooveを作らなかった3個所は何の為だったのですか?
    (五徳取付け用?)

    • @tetkoba
      @tetkoba  10 років тому +1

      理由はいくつかあるんですよ。
      ①クリース間隔が数に関係なくいつも同じで、あれくらいの幅の作業性が良い。
      ②密着面積を増やして毛管現象を抑えたい。
      ③脚を付けてもいいし、燃料の目印を付けてもいい。
      といったあたりですかねー。
      上端折り返しはJBWeldを使わないようにするためなんですけど、引っ掛けてめくれたりするんで、耐久性や実用性の面からはちょっと疑問です。

      なるほどです。
      毛管現象を抑えたいって、奥が深い。。。爆沸対策でしょうか。
      (増やすことばかり考えてましたι)
      教えていただき、ありがとうございました。(^-^

    • @tetkoba
      @tetkoba  10 років тому +2

      mi2uQ 爆沸はクリースを潰し過ぎると出やすくなりますね。最初18クリで作ったらブローバックが酷かったので15クリに減らしました。それでもまだ多いので、ジェット数も含めてバランスを取らなきゃダネ
      メですね。
