I had an Amiga 500 in the US in the early 90s. Absolutely fantastic computer system, great selection of games & art programs. You should give Magic Pockets more of a chance!! The big tornado absorbs an enemy & tons of items shoot out when you touch it. It's a quirky, fun, unique game.
Some true classics on this cart . Lots of very fond memories from back in late 80's early 90s Creatures 1 and 2 both brilliant along with hawkeye . The opening music is stunning
Loved the video John, real trip down memory lane for me. I grew up on the C64 over here in the UK, Creatures and Creatures 2 were just great. Seeing those loading screens again was ace. Creatures 2 could be infuriating at times but with practice (and a decent magazine guide!!) you could master each screen. Thank you!!
Cadaver - Both this and the expansion had a simplistic title screen. Gods - You have to flip the switch on the wall before those spike thing. Then there are other switches. Sometimes they do something, sometimes they don't do anything until you flip another switch, or you may have to flip a switch multiple times, or it might do something somewhere else in the level. Just walk around flipping all the switches an unspecified number of times until something happens. Magic Pockets - Decent looking platform game with a powerup system that nobody understand. So you have to collect combinations of items to enable different powerups, but there are certain rules to how they work. It's too complicated for its own good.
Just gotta say, your face John, when you played those mental European games was priceless haahaha, just here for that made it worth it!!! (Cramps laughing in cheeks now hahahaah)
I need to also say, that these are all hacked games, you can tell by the flashy intro texts and other things too! These are not the legal full versions lol
Says you, they are fun as heck, very good picks. Go back to black myth monkey kong game that is a copy of a copy copy. These games are from a era of originality
The amiga was quite popular also in Canada, growing up. My best friend was crazy about it.

That C64 music is something else, I can listen all day to the Snare OST.
I swear, that bouncy ball creature in the Thalamus Collection game "Creatures" is the exact character from the European SNES game "Super Morph"!!!!

let me put it this way, I am going to go get Evercade just for Magic Pockets. Would also get it just for Gods.... loved them both!
John Riggs: Evercade Spokesman
Z is actually the PS1 version on this cart

Can't believe I'm seeing Thalamus games in 2024, amazing! Creatures 2 was legendary! I'm surprised Mayhem In Monsterland isn't there though.
We all had also the commodore 64 too, as the ViC20, God, the amount of disquettes and casettes we had, in the thousands... 😊
John Riggs and Evercade time
Z is great but really should be played with a keyboard and mouse on PC.
Needs more Turrican :P
Fantastic game but it was published by Rainbow Arts😅
They look cool.
