Mr Williams who's name was after the school was a good British friend of DR Michael Okpara. So he decided to build a school in Memory of him.
Woww nice one. From 18.00 you forgot to mention our village umuekwule ohuhu afugiri and by the market where they do ekpe directly opposite it is afugiri primary school where my mum schooled and aunty taught many years ago..... lovely video feels like i was born there.

Good work just a few omissions like late Eze Ezebiro an engineer of reputation, late Eze Ihuoma from umuda , isingwu comunity secondary and umuokpara secondary amongst the schools
i am from ofeme...it hurts me that we do not have good road...i know someday God will use someone either from the government or an individual that will help fix our roads...starting from empire down to isingu/ikenga/Umueka/afumuda/utali/Umudiawa and every other villages around these places till it connects back to Nkwegwu....someboday abeg help me say amen oooo....thanks sis....i really enjoyed the tour...its been years i last visited these places....good job...
Nice sight seeing, of the city. My father and Uncle went through Government College Umuahia, when they were in their teens, many many years ago. And my first sibling twin brothers were born there. We are not from Abia though, but I am still searching for the Government College. Nice video by your lenses. Thanks Madam.
Williams was named after H.L.O. Williams, the Principal of Methodist College Uzuakoli who helped Dr. Okpara when he was a student. His ship was torpedoed by the Germans during world war 2 when he was on vacation to England.
Umuahia North includes Ibeku and Ohuhu Umuahia South includes Ubakala, Umuopara (formerly part of ohuhu), old Umuahia and Olokoro Show us Ubakala especially please
