Hey man i know this video came out years ago but just wanna say thanks, your a life saver on this one. I hope your still making videos, i have this car and have run into to a few problems already haha…thanks again.
The side light bulb is H6W 434 by the way. I recommend you get some super glue incase you break the plastic pieces at 1:08 and 3:14 they are quite flimsy
Thank you very much for making and Sharing! The TT - my wife ist driving the roadster - is for many little problems a very uncomfortable car, but with a little help and without fear you can repair more than you would think.😅 😅😅
Thanks so much for the info, pity about the ape before me who snapped most of the trim lugs and both rear lamp mounts. 🙄Oh the joys of second hand cars!
In shops usually they know what bulbs you need according to your VIN number or model year. I just went to shop, gave them my papers and said I need a position light. (:
For info. The two "hidden" screws only need slackening off as there are two lugs on the headlight that slide under them. Only the top screw needs removing. Thanks DrSunka
Yes; 1. Stick cutting tape to the car in the shape you want (not necessary on edges where you can cut straight, like window, panel gap etc.). 2. Stick vinyl over the tape onto the car. 3. Remove tape and thus cut vinyl. 4. Remove excess vinyl.
you shouldnt be touching those bulbs with your bare fingers as they are halogen and the grease on your hands will cause it to blow quicker! wear gloves or wipe the bulb after fitting
I don’t know what I would do without your very informative instructional videos. Thank you from all the way in Canada!

Great video. Was about to go buy a Torx screwdriver and had no idea there was one in the boot. ;-)

Anybody know where to find these side door R8 alike tapes/fenders in silver colour?
Regular vinyl wrap foil + knifeless vinyl tape.
@@sunkazz So you just measured and cutted it by yourself and taped?
Looks dope btw💯

Since when did this become a headlight??
And Halfords told my wife this was too difficult for them to take on...
It looks like I’m the only one that is replacing the bulbs through the wheel arch without removing the headlights?!🤔🤷♂️
...but you’ve removed the wheel arch liner and sat on the floor...
Woops already broke plastic lol
My bolts are rust seized. What a stupid design.
Impact driver sorted mine
Very helpful thank you!
