I have to agree. The body language and fidgeting in the chair is already a huge distraction from the nonchalant, low tone testimony. His answers, speech wise, sounds like he squeezes all his words into one word utterances.
      Who the heck prepped him?!
I bet nervousness has a little to do with it because he’s betraying his much older partner in crime but this kid probably didn’t pay enough attention in school. Too busy robbing people. Stay in school kids!!

In my opinion, The guy testifying was looking down because he was ashamed of what took place in general, but more so on his part of stabbing the victim 3 times because he was forcefully passed the knife. But he looked up when speaking on otherw because i sort of made him feel better spiritually that he wasnt the one who came up with the plan, nor actually took the first steps to execution. I believe he was just forced by the "Big Homie" and he didnt want to die along with the dude who unexpectedly was put up to die that day. Im 31 and caught a 2nd degree Felony at the age of 17 few months away from turning 18. Didnt get sent to juvenile detention, But instead got sent to the county as an Adult and got charged as an Adult. Was my first charge ever and thats why i dont really chill with much people these days... Hang around the wrong ppl and end up in the wrong situation's intentionally or not. Im a family man i just enjoy my rime with my Daughter, Spending time to myself when i can and working. Staying completely out the way of situations like this.

A snitch saved me from myself when I caught enough time for prison which was 15 years and 13 days ago. Having my paperwork after release saved me from being rolled up in carpet as another snitch tried blaming me when I slipped back into the dope game. I was in a shelter and that folder was with me 24/7 as was my canteen card/state ID. Lesson learned

@@Boarskiesrus The guy who I was friends with for 20 plus years had many charges hanging over his head and was someone I dealt with as we were both put on OxyContin years before and eventually cut off after the Feds went after doctors for their patients’ sudden inability to read and follow instructions, overdosing, which led to their inability to stay living. Because of that we were left with hellacious withdrawals and found other options, heroin, which there’s a tax for, I paid that involuntarily, but no help other than either having a wealthy friend or very expensive insurance. So by turning me in via a recording device and the jail not wanting to deal with my withdrawals, they sent me to the state prison hospital within 6 hours of my arrest where I was medicated and able to sleep through the worst of withdrawals and as that prison allows all convicts and inmates, people not yet convicted like myself, one phone call at Christmas I was essentially trapped with no way to bond out nor did I want to as I was years past being sick and tired of being sick and tired especially as I didn’t ask to be both physically and mentally addicted to a substance I should have never been prescribed in the first place hence the “he did me a favor” by snitching even though he really didn’t have much of a choice. I even called the deputies out on how they exploited someone’s addiction to do their job. Hope that helps you understand what I was trying to convey.

    • @Jartran72
      @Jartran72 10 місяців тому +19

Well.. crime is also a job. It has higher rewards and much steeper falls. Even a small time dealer makes a lot more than most office workers, but then again office workers don't face prison time usually. And prisons are just job markets for ciminals really. Hurting others is really bad and I wish we would evolve past crime as a species but we can't pretend that crime is not the only prospect of becoming rich for many people who are in terrible socioeconomic positions and in america the goal of life is to become rich for whatever reason. The goal should be to become happy and raise a family but you know capitalism...

Because he was nervous and stuttered? Because he did not speak clearly into the microphone? Because he speaks an accent that is tough to understand? Because he is black? Please elaborate how you came to this conclusion, you are basically calling him borderline re*arded because of how he spoke on the witness stand. People have all kinds of incentives to play characters on the stand, they are filled with anxiety and dread. They are under pressure. You can't really judge someones intelligence and especially not IQ, wich is only a measurement of your logical problem solving ability and that has literally nothing to do with testifying in court.

Almost every person that goes through the jail or prison system snitches on some level at some time or another. Snitches that are too high profile get transferred to distant facilities and put in segregated units away from general population.
Even then, inmates usually care about snitching on things that happen on the inside. They don't care about what happens on the streets.

That's some weird ish for a straight man to say publicly and obviously carries implications about their relationship. I see a similar vibe here, as another commenter said its like the snitch is still trying to impress Rhodes as he takes the stand against him. Even while quite literally betraying him he looks to him as if he deeply cares how Rhodes perceived him even years after this crime.

I watched a documentary from the 70's about graffiti on New York trains with white, black and Spanish teenagers from the Bronx. They all spoke so well and clear it was shocking when you are used to todays teenager nonsense, seventies kids with English as a second language speaking far clearer than kids today with English as their FIRST language.

The lawyer was definitely struggling but I'm sure the biggest reason for that is the snitch not following the script properly. He was giving truthful responses but he was not emphasizing, or even mentioning, what the lawyer was trying to get at with the question. The first 15 minutes are the lawyer just trying to get the snitch to say "everything was Rambo's idea, he made all the plans, and I was scared he would hurt me if I didn't do it". The lawyer is getting bits and pieces of that but not much and it's certainly been trickier than he expected. I'm only halfway through the video and I'm expecting the lawyer will be able to pull some more out of him. We shall see.

I was locked up in Adair county level 5 maximum security youth detention facility for 26 months, from 2018-2020.
Anyway Anjuan was in there with me were the same age, but for almost 2 and a half years me and him lived together.
I don’t think he’s a bad person, he made his own bad decisions but shit what would you do at 14-15 when a scary dudes says he’ll kill you if you don’t help?
    I’d prolly do it too.
We stayed in contact after we were both released from Adair, mainly because we turned 18 and our cases weren’t over yet.
But seeing him on this UA-cam thumbnail was surreal I have to say(because I had no idea he was locked up again). I wish the best for him.
    Keep ya head up budda

I’m not trying to sound judgmental, but I truly don’t understand why anyone would act like this at this age.
I remember being 15 like it was yesterday I would make UA-cam videos with my friends. I work as a Filmmaker now and that’s where that started from. I was also in a metal band, and our Friday nights were spent hanging out late at In-N-Out, or going to the movies with her girlfriends.
I don’t think it’s cool what he did and I don’t think it would’ve been cool. When I was that age I would’ve stayed far away from these kind of people. And no, I don’t mean his race and black myself. I’m talking about the criminal element.

Was this the “prosecutors” first murder or double murder trial???? He was all over the place & NOT being DIRECT with his questions🤯🤔‼️I was a criminal bankruptcy paralegal for over (16+) years & the (2) attorneys that I worked for where & still are the BEST & very very rarely looses a case & having been in Court many many times!!!! They’re extremely on POINT with their questions & are very prepared for their cases & watching & listening to this prosecutor, he wasn’t FULLY PREPARED by a long shot!!!! He left so many gaps & holes in his questioning 🤨 of this “witness”!!!! And YES I was also watching BOTH of the “witness & defender’s” body language & you where on point with your thoughts 💭 of their body languages & trust me so did the Judge & Jury😳👀‼️The “witness” REFUSED to make eye contact with anyone when describing his own deplorable actions in MURDERING what as he referred to as them being his “best friends”!!!! You could see very clearly 👀how the defendant was trying to “intimidate” the witness the entire time he was on the stand with his own “body language & eyes”!!!! I also picked up looking at the witness eyes while testifying & I could see 👀he had NOTHING but “ULTIMATE FEAR” & trying to cover it up so he doesn’t come across as being TERRIFIED!!!!! How this prosecutor WON this DOUBLE MURDER case does baffle me🤔🤨‼️I truly HOPE that ALL the parties involved are PROSECUTED & spend the rest of their MISERABLE lives rotting away in PRISON!!!!! My SINCERE CONDOLENCES go out to the mother of these boys & the family of the “mistaken” identity murder as well💔😢

32:00 a couple cents, yes I noticed he was looking down while recounting the part of the story pertaining to his own actions.
Some people might try to say he’s lying and that’s why he cannot keep up the eye contact.
But I wholeheartedly disagree in this case.
He specifically looks downward. This could be a cue to the fact that he knows his actions will be perceived as deplorable by anyone present who’s listening to him answer.
He may or may not feel remorse, and he may or may not see his own actions as being deplorable. But turning his gaze downward is something someone is likely to do at the moment they feel they are being judged by others, and he likely felt exactly that in those moments when he was describing his own criminal actions, which - one would think- actually does something to add to the idea that he is telling the truth.
