Thank you! If I don't garden at night which it is only like 5:30 or 6:00 pm, I'd have to wait until the weekend. So, I garden in the dark. I appreciate you watching!! Have a blessed day!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Hello Mz Ruth!! Thank you for your encouragement! I'm just sharing my experiences with your all. I thank you all for sharing tips and suggestions to help me! This is such a helpful community! I really appreciate you! Have a blessed day!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Good morning, lady! I found out, purely by accident, that you could eat broccoli 🥦 leaves are so right. They were pretty tasty. I love those big leaves. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Good morning, how are you doing on this beautiful day, the way you're doing that is the way I be doing my compost and now I have some tomatoes growing in the compost.😂
Hello!! I've had peas, beans, and potatoes growing in my compost before. I had huge cucumbers to grow in my burn pile in summer 2023. I let them grow and I couldn't keep up with picking them. 😂😂😂 It's hard not to grow something in your compost when you are putting dead plants from the garden in it. The seeds will germinate more than likely. You can pull it up and lay it back down in it or you can let it grow. Your compost must be really good, those tomatoes think so!! 😊😊😊
Lisa what’s Cotten trash? I’ve never heard of that. I haven’t done too much outside composting because I’m scared of the critters, I’m doing the LOMI composter in the house and then I have some buckets that I throw leaves in and let that break down and use that with my water. It was 80 here today, I hope my stuff doesn’t bolt, the caterpillars are destroying mine!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Hey Steffanie!! I guess it's still warm everywhere! I keep my beds covered with the tulle all the time. Every time we take it off, that crazy moth tries to hide in the bed and after we pull the cover over, them we have to take it off again and chase it away! 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ The Cotton trash/compost are all the cotton plants the farmers pull up and them bring them back to the cotton gin to break down. Our lawn guy's Dad is a gardener and he goes and gets truck loads of it and he brings it to us. It's aged. I think he said it's 10 years old. So, you make a compost tea? Dead leaves sitting in water is a wonderful compost tea, or your very own Super Juice. Ms Linda, TNOG, she doesn't like the critters either, and that's why she makes her Super Juice. How do you like the in house composter?
Your harvest looks great. I used to have flat head Dutch cabbage and they do have large heads and big leaves. Those leaves are impressive. Take care and be blessed.💕
Hello Lisa. Your brassicas and cabbage looks amazing. I have not grown the imperial, however I have calabrese, yod fah, sun king natalina and early purple broccoli. First time growing these varieties. Looking forward to seeing your harvest.
Oh ok great! I never grown those either. I've never grown the Autumn Spears variety. It is still warm here, I hope they all don't bolt and flower! Thank you for watching!
Good morning Lisa you are taking the leaves off how do you cook them oh you just answer my question. Cook them like collard greens. I am going broccoli for the first time that’s why I asked. Take care and be safe. ❤❤😊
Hello! Our lawn guy's dad is a gardener and he brings us a huge amount of it from the cotton gin that's up the road from me. He brought us some last year and the ants got all in it. He brought us more in September and that's what I moved to our compost bin. He said it is really aged, like 5 or 10 years old. Thank for watching!
Broccoli and cabbage leaves are delicious. It's a win, win.🤗
Yes they are Ms Gail!! If they don't produce a broccoli or cabbage head, I'll still get some good leaves that are delicious!!
We put our rolls and newspapers in the paper shredder as an experiment. It didn't clog the shredder and it chopped it up into smaller pieces
I love your night gardening videos, they are actually calming💜
