First things first, we need to come up with one ship name for Hope and Rafael... like I'm seeing people using Hafael and Hopel and it's just getting confusing. I prefer Hafael but I'm not totally against Hopel. We're just NOT gonna call them Rope.
Second, OMG that episode! I knew Hope knew Raf has feelings for her. If Landon catched on with his poem then there was no way Hope would be oblivious. When Raf said "You know why" I died a little inside. Their voices were so soft the entire time D: Can you believe they went through all my fav tropes? love/hate? check. best friends? check. unrequited love? check check check. They're gonna be that torturous slow burn and I'm gonna be patient waiting for them to happen one day. Because I know they will. They're my OTP of the show... I seriously just adore them. I don't ship Handon at all and I frankly think they lie to each other all the time, which is a turn off and I don't see the chemistry either. Hope and Raf always talk honestly with each other and they're just better suited for one another. And Julie usually never stick with the OG ship... so I'm gonna be very offended if Handon is endgame when Stelena wasn't.
I really needed that moment between them. I was certain that there had to be a really big scene like that to end the season... I'm not looking forward to the hiatus at all :(
Also, since Hope gave that werewolf ring to Raf or whatever it is, can they just turn into werewolves and run off into the forest together? I think that should happen at least once.

I just read that theory on tumblr and I believe it. Since Raf was stuck in wolf form, that could be the loophole... it might have saved him from losing his memories? Or Penelope's journal could be the key, assuming Alaric didn't burn that along with all of Hope's things. I think the latter is more interesting and also because it continues the love triangle in a way by having Raf remember Hope while Landon doesn't and Hope just gets closer to Raf in S2.

The way Hope and Rafael smile and laugh together and talk about things with such depth and friendship and maturity...and the way they are a real team, especially about taking care of Landon.... they are so good together and so real. Somehow when times are tough and confusing, even if Hope loves Landon, she still feels much better talking to him and hanging out and sparring with him.... that's something deeper and harder to let go and more meaningful. Love them together! And she is clearly Rafael's 'Hope' for something better.
I think rafael will be the only one who remembers hope and he tries to find a way to get her back and she realizes she has feelings for him

This was perfectly made well. All those moments just screams these two have something and its like growing. I feel more will happen next season. It always starts out with friends but somehow it can become more especially aside the stuff Landon is going through right now . Kudos for this video being made. With Hope having a tribid background, it feels she can relate to a lot on what Rafael is going through which makes for a strong connection.

I just recently watched Legacies. I fell in love with Hafael/Hopel (I'm personally calling them Mikaelwaithe😂) and now I'm watching edits. I really love yours and then I discovered you're a Stelena shipper and I stan even more! It's good to know I'm not alone. I've seen a lot of people saying Hope and Raf are like Delena and I'm just like Noooo, it's not the same. Mikaelwaithe is pure, leave them be. I'm also ok with a slow burn. I'd love to see them develop more individually and as friends and then more. And I really hope there's no overlap with Handon.
They want us to believe in this epic love who has not start ,not building, no development. What actually happened between Landon and hope that can explain they so call epic love . She never actually talk to Landon, she never was vulnerable in from of him but anyway . Rafael give me some Elijah vibes he so devoid to he brother he is willing put is feeling away and stay away from then hurting Landon even by accident. I know Hope is shipped with everyone on the show. But this is my favorite ship. The chemistry is fire, the way Raf looks at her, and just everything about them. I do like Handon but I'm into slow burn ships more (where you keep wishing they should get together already, push and pull, conflicts etc) . Love Hafael 😍

Honestly, Rafael is a lot better than Damon was when he was in love with Elena he went after her even when she was still in a relationship with Stefan while Rafael respected Hope's relationship with his brother their Chemistry is unknowingly true I'm proud of Rafael for respecting his relationship even though still in love with her hopefully they will explore their chemistry a bit more in S2

Raphael is awesome, and i feel he deserves someone better than Hope. He's loyal to his brother and a bond like that is stronger than whatever feelings he has for Hope... I want him to get a new love interest and hopefully season 2 gives him that. Though him and Hope have chemistry, they should just be soul mates who understand each other but stay friends... Legacies should do better in terms of the Triangle than TVD.

Literally Rafael and Hope have more chemistry than Landon and Hope, Landon in my opinion is pretty boring I mean there’s no real reason for his existence and hope is always having to babysit him all the time 🤦🏽♀️ when everyone forgot about hope, Rafael was the one to catch feelings first, not Landon. And I get that Landon was with Josie but still, all Landon did was stare at hope he never really got to know her while Rafael wanted to know everything about her because that’s how strong their connection is. Hafael is superior 😌
