    Great Video.. But you should have included your own deduction about an object with the steps that involved in reaching there to help us more understand the process and areas to cover.

      Vignesh Baburaj I really should have, I wanted to but I didn't have the time to get some people for me to set up the shot and make deductions about an object, it's my plan to have that in a future video

    Before some weeks i got intrested in thinking...
    I watched Sherlock because the character is a person that is really good at situational awareness, deduction and all that stuff...
    I wanted to try it myself and... Hard to work on something, you dont understand... So i started checking how to practice it and how to do tests and all of that.
    I couldn't find some good informations till i checked your channel. It is fascinating and has just what i am intrested in...

      lol, it saddens me that my pronunciation is that bad... I'm Italian, technically my mother was the one who emigrated to the U.S. so I was born in the states, thus she speaks Italian, I never got the chance to learn, but when I was trying to figure out how to end my videos I decided upon that, as a little nod to my heritage lol

    Awesome Video!
    Please keep making Videos about deduction, observation is the easier part in my eyes.
    Also, could you give some advice on creating a better mind palace and how to use it, in a future video?

    • @TheArtofDeduction_Official
      @TheArtofDeduction_Official  7 років тому

      Henry Busch thanks man. Observation has always been my weak point in deduction but everyone has their own starting point it's all about training yourself to be better. I have been wanting to do a mind palace video but I need to do some more research on it first. I will let you know right off the bat that it isn't the same as what you see on Sherlock though

      well the original stories written by Doyle are much more realistic because he was a deductionist himself. However the purpose of this channel is to help people to learn to use this skill so I hope that it can achieve that for you.

    your thoughts on series 4? personally i found it to be unrealistic and it had too many plot holes.

    • @TheArtofDeduction_Official
      @TheArtofDeduction_Official  7 років тому +2

      xx I agree that it wasn't too realistic but I was expecting some of that based on the trailers and how the Abominable Bride special portrayed the mind palace. But none the less I thought it was enjoyable. When it comes to watching Sherlock for me, I know it is an embellishment of the character so I very rarely look for actual techniques that can be applied in real deductions from that show, today's video being an exception. I mainly watch it for the enjoyment of the stories and characters, and because I wasn't expecting a more down to earth crime drama like the first seasons, but rather an epic grand finale I was able to enjoy series 4

    i just had things repeat multiple times.quincidentaly,3-4 things repeated twice,I slept but I feel like I didnt,I didn't sleep yesterday,then I had vivid "visions" thoughts,world connections randomness,about ah mary like statue in ah corner in ah dark room.go look up space hulk deathwing,outlast 2,sycosis and jail sympoms,I've been in ah for 3 years and have talked very little to random people.either this is the mind or something weird is going on.nothing weird happens to me so I assume it's nothing,but I'm starting to question it now.i defently think it's me but I can't be sure,it's like ah person with dementia is trying to figure out if another person has dementia.

    • @TheArtofDeduction_Official
      @TheArtofDeduction_Official  7 років тому

      interesting, so as I understand it you are saying that you are seeing things, and that this has been going on for a while?

    • @soccerandtrack10
      @soccerandtrack10 7 років тому

      yeah,I found ah youtube channel for someone who had the symptoms and I have the same things,she said that ghost,paranormal stuff is part of it,but the repeats are getting typical like my thoughts,and the repeats happened after the "other deminieal things"so I can't be sure if what ever those are are influencing the repeats,because I find the things in stuff,and it started out with this girl getting "crazyier" or "weirder" on youtube,she's where the repeats started,I don't remember where the repeats started for me but it's recent but vague.i haven't talked to people,actual talking for ah long time to strangers or freinds and I haven't been outside for ah long time,so I'm 85% it's my mind.

      I have an idea for a sort of video mystery deduction game that you all can do, but for now, Sherrinford has more of that kind of content on his channel. Also the videos that I am making where I make deductions about pictures has a part where I let you all pause the video and make your own deductions about it before I get into mine, which acts as a bit of a training exercise.

  • @ghirahime5282

    when you always observe everything, it will be annoying (you already know who own the object at first sigh). I request investigation games from you! Hard, long, & contain to much details, (important details & useless ones). Thank you

    • @TheArtofDeduction_Official
      @TheArtofDeduction_Official  7 років тому +1

      Depending on how loud the whisper one can know who it is that will give an object, although if you feel as though you can predict who will be the person to offer something make it random have them flip a coin on it. I'll see about making a mystery game sometime in the future

    • @ghirahime5282

    Great video, as usual, but next time maybe use an example.
    Also, I have a small and probably incorrect deduction to make about you. I think when you were younger you were bullied and that’s about the extend of my deduction. Oh, and I think perhaps your fascination with Sherlock and the general Art of Deduction is a sort of fallback net. That way you have something to distract yourself with and also you can read the people you come across to then decide whether or not you want to be in their company. Just a guess and I think I’m wrong.

    • @TheArtofDeduction_Official
      @TheArtofDeduction_Official  7 років тому +1

      Ice Traveler I don't use MBTI very much at all, while I think in some instances it can be a useful tool it is simply a way of getting very general information about a person or rather categorizing a person based on very general information about them. Honestly I don't really see much use in condensing your basic deductions about a person into an MBTI diagnosis. Using MBTI you can potentially make some accurate predictions about how they will act in accordance with their personality, however a person's personality is so much more complex than that, and you can come to much more accurate conclusions and predictions in my, opinion and experience, if you just take the person as an individual case and draw specific inferences about their personality based on their behavior. So in my opinion it is rather a wast of time and impractical to use MBTI in deduction even if the system itself has its merits

    • @luarn9176

Oh except he hasn’t taught me how to actually deduce yet, it’s like telling people how to play chess by saying “hey make the moves to gain an advantage then convert that advantage to win the game”. Yeah no shit Sherlock.
