I was just looking at the chat replay, and saw some people suggesting that Hunter Biden be put on trial. I had to check my Webster's dictionary for the word "desperation", to see if a picture of someone suggesting a trial for Hunter Biden appeared, because that's the quintessential definition of desperation.

@@drcowan3468: Much of Ms. Hutchinson’s testimony has already been corroborated. Her testimony corroborated earlier testimony from others.
Even Trump’s own speech and texts themselves corroborate some of Ms. Hutchinson’s statements.
Pat Cippllone has been subpoenaed to testify. So more corroborating evidence should soon be forthcoming.
Previous secret service testimony offered nothing counter to Ms. Hutchinson’s claims.
Hopefully others will come forward also.

Some of her testimony involved conversations regarding events for which she was not present. In those cases, she can still report on what these other officials were saying.
Much of her testimony regards events, words, and actions for which she WAS directly present.
And much of her testimony is corroborated by other evidence.

1) evidence of those involved, and the strength of it.
2) did they clearly assist or attempt to assist other's in the commission of a crime!

This poor woman just flushed her whole life down the toilet. No one on either side of the fence will ever hire her, and for what . ? Something we already knew. There is nothing new here and nothing of value to anyone. At time when we are faced with threats and challenges far beyond what happened 2 1/2 years ago I find this whole committee a waste of time. It’s a year late ! We have bigger issues to deal with now.

I appreciate the hearings. It's comforting (?) to have testimony confirm what so many of us "felt" in our guts about this last administration. Toronaga says to Blackthorn, " There's no mitigating circumstances when it comes to rebellion against a sovereign lord". Blackthorn replies, "Unless you win.". The cynical part of me wonders who would have come forward if the attempted coup would have been successful. I am thankful for the testimony that has come from various witnesses un-suponead because I've been looking for pieces to fall into place. I do wonder how many of these witnesess would have stayed silent should the coup have been successful... because, you know, "mitigating circumstances "...

She's not a whistle blower, she was subpoenaed. That's not to say she didn't provide a great service to her country by bearing witness to the corruption and malfeasance of the administration she worked for, but her testimony was acquired through due process.

She was coached. It's so obvious. Her words were slow and calculated, just as you would expect from someone careful to recite rehearsed lines. She wasn't speaking at a normal conversational tempo. This would explain why Cheney hugged her at the end, as if to say she approved of the performance.
