When I was a Kid I Watched a lot of Movies Starting Clint Walker and Lot Of Vincent Price To , Watched a lot of Good Western With My Beautiful Mom 👩 ❤️
The ending was the best part! Its thought provoking. How many westerns have you seen where the guy who has his father killed by an outlaw is the hero EVERY time. How many times have you heard on the news of some bad guy who killed innocent men only get 10yrs of prison only to catch yourself saying "should have given him a death sentence" or "murderers dont deserve second chances, the victims didnt get a second chance at life". This movie shows us that SOME convicted felons DO and CAN change. But society is VERY quick to judge and say once a killer always a killer. Makes you wonder how many evil men died who could have very well been recently reformed decent members of society. How many people on death row "found jesus" and actually meant it? Could they have been virtuous just like cain? Does turning a new leaf and leading an honest life really make up for killing 13 innocent people? Its one of those endings that stick with people and make us think. Some people who watch this movie might remember the ending the next time they see some convict cry and beg to be released during their parole hearing after being imprisoned 25 of 60yrs for murdering their wife decades ago. Now im not saying we should be soft on convicts because of a movie, all im saying is the ending to this movie (though unpleasant) really makes you think and reflect on how we see convicts after they "did their time". Its fascinating to see "the other side" and not just the victim/those who survived them.
I was enjoying the movie from the beginning and it's getting better towards the end but what a suprise I didn't expect that ending. When that person appeared on the scene seemed to be a peculiar character an attorney looking for cain. I was trying to figure out what connection he has with cain who already served the 18 years sentence and been released free, the only reason he's looking for cain for 20 years was to take revenge and he had it. The movie was good just the sad ending because the director wanted the story to end that way.
Don Johnson ia-was a warrior.......he fell and stood right up......that is the sign of a winner......a survivor is one that just gets by. Don Johnson has given me maany joyful times watching him with his charm and acting chops!!!! Looove him!!!!

Love of parents is so important. When he killed those 12 men, what we're his feelings. 18 years of jail made him think and he wanted to live an honest life. The world wouldn't forgive him for his past. We don't forgive, and we help misery continue. This is sad, and this is how it ends. From India, Kolkata.

All the cons of movies made in the 1970s. Glaring 70s hair styles. Dialogue errors and wrong "language" errors for the time. Vincent Price was an actor of many venues. It was a callous gesture when the school changed the institution's name. He donated all his art collection and money to the institute and after his death, the administrators took his name off everything, Ann Francis was a "pretty" woman and deserved better roles than she got. Clint Walker was a "wooden actor" technique with even less expressiveness than Alan Ladd.

The end made me regret watching it to the end because I enjoyed his character.

There is a ghost town outside of yucca valley CA. A friend of mine took me there. Many old westerns were filmed or partially filmed there.

@joeydepalmer4457 well for me, I'm almost 60. Old movies to me are ones back in the early 70's
