Oh my gosh! this movie is packed with so many life lessons that shouldn't be ignored. First, the unconditional love displayed by Adesuwa is so melting, it made me so soft after watching, the love is so patient towards her family despite all, it made her look like a fool at first, but you know what, that's love. It just reminds me of God's love towards us. Second, treat people right. Honestly, Adesuwa would have missed a chance on love and getting married if she had not treated Jason right. Third, be open minded, many have lost great opportunities because they believe some things will only come through a particular place. Adesuwa was open minded, so also Jason, also open your mouth, shoot your shot and don't just accept what life throws at you. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. Adesuwa insisted on going to school, so also did Jason, Adesuwa could have accepted her mother's wish and blame her life on such forever but she decided to change her life by sticking to what she believes. Same with Jason, don't look down on yourself, otherwise, good things will always pass you by. I can go on and on but I'll stop here. Thank you aunty Omoni for this masterpiece. Well done 👍 to all the cast, you did excellent.

It’s how osas embraced his role as the man of the house, this is why the presence of a good man is needed in the home. Only one conversation Jason had with him changed everything about him. I like the sisters closeness at the end. Every home needs this movie, shout out to every first daughter and son carrying their families together ❤

We first borns have always been raised different; at least in my region of Nigeria. However, I had very supportive parents who ensured that my siblings were raised right. They just expected me to also understand that when they are no more, I will be the matriarch of the family. Due to this, all I did was focus on studies and work (after graduation) and nothing else 😊. It prepared me much more than I imagined cos I lost them just after medical school.
I am lucky that my siblings gave me the respect I deserved and didn’t stress me. We are now super successful due to our focus on the important things.
This mom was irresponsible and Adesua’s siblings were really a handful. Awesome movie with a lot of lessons!!!God bless us all.

One of my favorite scenes of this movie is when Jason confessed to Adesuwa by the beach. I watched that scene repeatedly because I love the matured nature of the conversation. Totally loved how he said “I’m desperate but I am not impatient. I will wait for you, I will wait till you are ready” and the soft touch.
Yeah, this movie is on a whole other level! I hope it gets all its well deserved accolades for an incredible storyline and amazing cast.

This is the best movie I have watched so far, It reflects so much on how most parents keep repeating the cycle of how badly they were treated while growing up and therein damaging their children, removing joy from their lives. To them they don't want you to suffer not knowing they're keeping the cycle in the loop
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ABOUT 10 YEARS I CRIED TO A NIGERIAN MOVIE. God bless the early actors and God bless you Omoni Oboli. In fact it is not the cry that makes this movie special but the fact that it tells a story so well. Well done!

This is my mum 😢 and I'm that stubborn second child who find it so hard to forgive when hurt badly, I had a fall out with my mum once and it took me close to 3 years to forgive her with the intervention of the man I love, my dad tried but he couldn't settle us, it was a very bad situation that I even told her once that she hates me. I'm not her favorite child though and I act like I don't care and mind my business most times but I really do care, I just swallow it all up. And Adesua is my elder sister, no difference. The boy is my last brother, always asking for money for one Ponzi scheme or the other.

I liked the siblings' gradual change over time. It wasn't instantaneous, which made it realistic.

I loveeeeee this movie and I've been preaching this to my friends who are already parents. Your first child is still a child. Don't make them grow up too fast to resent you for blaming them for their younger one's mistakes. If a younger one does something wrong, let them have it. Don't tell the elder one that they're learning such behaviour from them. I'd share this with my oldest sister ❤

I love how refreshing the stories of nollywood are these days. This was a good watch, the actors brought their A game. Well done Omoni Oboli. This movie has encouraged me that family is still family and it is good to forgive when they are repentant.
Now, how do i ever recover from this magnitude of treachery from a mother? This is insanely traumatizing!! Even with her realizing her mistakes and turning over a new leaf at the end, i would still be scared 😳 and wary of her. @@hillylove35 I have noticed that children that were abused physically or Verbally always find it hard to stand up for themselves especially the girls, I have a friend that is always scared to even talk her parents be it father or mother because they have always shunned her and do not give her space to express herself sometimes I see her as foolish while other times I just feel pity for her.

Amazing movie and I want to say thank you so much Omoni Oboli for this and the fact that with all the mothers behaviour the children still have respect for the mother that should be a case study..Highly recommended and a must watch to every family
Honestly this movie is the bomb. It literally brought tears to my eyes, how you could take so much from a mother who doesn't appreciate you and still stay strong and love her unconditionally. The movie actually teaches that love conques all.
This movie is a master piece… so relatable that it got me goose bumps. It made me emosh and got me tearing at some point. The part where Etim said “Sometimes , is the people we love that don’t see our true value until is too late”. was my highlight. Kudos to all the cast , they all killed their roles but the mum’s role did it do me. More grace to you ma’am @OmoniObolitv

Wow! This movie is a masterpiece and a cinema-worthy movie. It is not getting the hype and views it's supposed to get. The script, casting, and directing are excellent. All the actors played their roles perfectly. They brought realism to it. I was awake all through the night watching it and never wanted it to end. I don't know if it is a true-life story because it triggered my emotions at the beginning of the movie.
A parasitic family can be so depressing and choky; those without one should thank God. I love the fact that they all turned a new leaf and were able to see how valuable their sister or daughter was and how hard she worked tirelessly to support them. Unfortunately, first daughters in some families are neglected and never appreciated.
As a mother, never be a burden to your children. Don't be greedy and sentimental.
This movie is a 10/10. This is the third movie I have watched on Omoni Oboli TV, and I must truly say none of them disappointed me. It was all a good watch. Thank you 😊

This movie is so touching and filled with so many lessons. I have cried my eyes out. This is a master piece. Every family needs to watch this movie. The burden and heavy expectations placed on first borne and bread winners of the family is too much. Experts say you know a good actor by how much you love or hate them for their role. This is exactly how I feel about Daniel and Chinyere Wilfred, respectively. They delivered their roles excellently.
The sweetest scene for me was when Idia told Osas that she needed video and photos from every angle of Steven's beating for moral support 😅😅😅. Love Osas with his various plugs😂😂😂😂😂

This is such a beautiful movie. Loved it from beginning to end. The emotional roller coaster I was on had me laughing, smiling and crying. All the actors did a spectacular job and the writing was unmatched. The universal storyline can be appreciated in any country and culture.
