this is soooo cool......i LOVE the lyrics + the expression of the duality of idolization and belittlement that comes from this kind of dynamic
admittedly, i kind of relate to this song, not because i think this kind of thinking is good but because of my own intrusive thoughts about certain people i've had parasocial problems with in the past. i can recognize if a relationship is parasocial but that doesn't make thoughts like this go away. idk if you also struggle with this or you're just basing it off behavior you've seen from others, but i think it's conveyed very very well in this song.

Ooh this is different from what I expected when I first saw the title :0 Haven't watched the lyric breakdown yet so I'm gonna drop my first impression/interpretation here - I think the POV character/Gumi is an unreliable narrator, feeling like the influencer owes them content(?) for their devotion, which descends into obsession and the stalking n stuff. At first I was like "oh this influencer guy sounds insufferable" but I think the lyrics are just a more negative view on what is true for most influencers (getting lucky, already being rich/well off, not really being THAT talented), and so the POV character, being critical enough to see that, takes something generally worth criticizing and turns it into a justification for thinking the influencer is indebted to them and thus it's okay to be an obssessed stalker.
I hope that ramble made sense haha. Gonna watch the lyric breakdown now to see how close I got to the intended story :D
